Upon arrival hotel looked good. Modern and friendly staff. Room was clean and everything you needed was there. The mini fridge had 2 bottles of water which were refreshed each day, We had a few issues, aircon didn’t work majority of our stay which was annoying due to it being quite warm. Shower head was broken which meant it was difficult to shower with it falling down every 5 minutes. The milk and coffee provided, unfortunately wasn’t checked and one milk had been left open (hopefully not from a previous stay) but meant it had gone bad. It stayed this way for the 4 days we stayed here.
The main disappointment was the breakfast, for a 4 star hotel it was not 4 star breakfast, the first day everything was cold, the scrambled egg, bacon and mushrooms, Not to mention the bacon was pretty much raw. The continentals were ok but again not 4*, such a shame as it could have been a lot more enjoyable if the standards were raised slightly. It was easy to access venice from the hotel. £23 taxi or could purchase tram tickets which were £1 and could get from reception. Hotel staff were very helpful with ordering taxis for us.

Clean and comfortable hotel, good base for tourists in a modern hotel.

short walk to tram stop that runs to Venice. Not much else around so make sure if you need supply’s for the room to pick up while you are out. Hotel does have fridges with beer, wine, juice at a cost and some nice out door areas to sit. Only negatives are if you want to use the facilities which come at an extra cost 25Eur pp which soon adds up if you have children who want to swim. Breakfast has a reasonable selection buffet style but definitely not an American cooked breakfast and again quiet expensive at 12 Eur pp you can eat well 10-15 minutes walk for a lot less.

We found ourselves very delayed in Venice Mestre due to bushfires and trains being delayed so I booked a room for day use. On arriving at the hotel was told we (myself plus 3 kids 16, 14,11) would need two rooms which to be fair all we were doing were hanging around, charging electronics and staying in a cool a/c room (on one of the hottest days of the year) but ok I get it there are hotel rules so we took two rooms (318,319) . 318 was very small and 319 a little bigger with space to move around. They seemed clean enough and we did not use any facilities as we were only there for about 4 hours. The issue was the check in took wayyyyyyy to long . There is no restaurant open in the hotel during the day and nothing very close by so I was advised to use a delivery service which I did, no problem. When I went to get the lunch from the driver I noticed there was still only one staff member on the reception desk and the queue was about 6 deep so maybe they need to look at that, but again things like that can happen with staff shortages etc. Some of the photos of the rooms on the site look rather moden, ours was more basic motel style.

General facilities at the hotel are modern and great it has a wow factor. The rooms however are very basic. Had to wait until half 3pm to access the room. Within our 5 day stay the room was only cleaned once as we had to request it but the beds were not changed at all. Fresh towels and toilet roll were not replenished during our stay. There was no iron in the room and the reception staff appeared disgruntled at the request. The hairdryer was not worth using.
We booked a massage via groupon as it was cheaper and tried the claim the free massage that was emailed to me directly by the hotel. This seemed to be a major inconvenience for them but they eventually agreed. However when my partner was in the massage room the receptionist burst through the door and demanded that we had to pay for the free massage. Very unprofessional and led to us not enjoying the experience. The location of the hotel is good tram takes 20 minutes to reach Venice. It was definitely not 4 star accommodation or service.

Modern and just interesting façade nothing else. A kind of place that doesn't invite you to stay anymore, full of mixed bottles of scent with a horrible odour and plastic flowers everywhere ,stupid decoration ,full of bikes in the entrance like a garage, for a moment I thought that the Giro was passing trough my room, a bar without people there cause nobody never there attending for a drink , but also not even the concierges inviting or offering you to stay for a drink just a vending machine paying the stupidity of 3.00€ for a bottle of water. The room was basic, good size bed, not as clean as we expected specially the toilet and not much ventilated smelling horribly smoke inside make up with a cheap and strong room spray.
Unfortunately you have to improve simply details to get more clients, nowadays hospitality has though competitors and quality is the first pillar to build . Room 113

Not a great experience. Firstly we were refused a second door card as it was “hotel policy” to only issue one. But, this card is needed for electricity to work in the room meaning one person couldn’t leave and re-enter. Managed to get a second card the following day after a complaint.
Also the room is completely impractical & noisy.
There was no privacy for the bathroom. I guess having clear glass walls for the shower would seem romantic. But, also having no privacy for the toilet, hiding from watching your partner wipe their own ass kinda kills the romance.
At night the room is noisy with uncomfortable pillows. There was a water gushing sound every 2 mins for about 2 seconds to fill up a tank. This was annoying enough for you to not get to sleep. Also the walls were not solid so there was noise from adjacent rooms. Quite frankly we had the worst 3 nights sleeps ever.
Oh, and we had an issue in the night where we couldn’t turn off the desk spotlights. We got a man come to try and resolve but he couldn’t figure it out. His resolution was to put the bright spotlights into a paper coffee cup filled full of tissue and taped closed. This did work but surely heat building up was a fire / safety risk. It all felt like a Faulty Towers moment.
Finally, residents still have to pay to use the swimming pool. Very poor.
You would have a more comfortably stay in a Travelodge. Actually, maybe a Premier Inn, to be a little more classy.

The staff were all exceptional, however the bedroom was tired and required updating , the breakfast was sufficient as in it was food but not a 4 star hotel offering. A small bottle of water 3 euros was overpriced by 2 euros the bakery near the tram stop 64 cents for 1.5 litre - I dont mind paying a little more but not been ripped off. I would say pay more and stay in Venice for comfort and ease.

The hotel and room was lovely. The bed did feel like two singles put together but didn’t really slip apart so not an issue. Great bathroom with good lighting though no conditioner, just shampoo, soap and lotion. These were replenished once used, as well as the water in mini fridge and any coffee and tea items. The hairdryer wasn’t very powerful but still okay. Though access to the pool and spa was not included, it was £30 for two for 4 hours so a good price. It had great features with steam room, sauna, loungers, jacuzzi and overall very relaxing so would recommend. They do require you to wear swimming caps and if you don’t have this they’re about €3 each. The staff at reception were all lovely and smiley with great English if you don’t know Italian and accommodated us storing luggage for our evening flight at no charge. There is a bus stop right outside and gets you to the airport with 30 minutes and the other way is walking distance to bus and tram stops for Venice within 20-30 minutes and they run quite late. Nice walking distance to local shops too. We didn’t try the hotel restaurant but it seemed to have nice decor. The gym wasn’t really in use but did seem a bit small and outdated.

We stayed at the EH as part of an Air Canada Vacation package. Overall the hotel itself was clean and the staff were mostly friendly, however, we were terribly disappointed with the service in the restaurant. We ate one dinner here and it was essentially not edible. My partners dinner was so salty he couldn't eat it and my pasta with scallops also had sand in it. Again, inedible. So disappointing. When the waiter asked if things were ok, I politely explained the situation (I've never complained about food in a restaurant - ever). He became very rude and told us that perhaps we just didn't like it. He stomped off and returned with the bill. No apology, no reduction in the bill etc. Terrible, rude service. Fellow travellers who were at the bar that night saw two glasses of wine returned b/c there was "something" floating in the glasses. The waiter just took a spoon, scooped out the "stuff" and returned it to the patron. Gross. I did write a complaint to the manger who apologized and told me that there was an error in the kitchen with our food and that they had spoken to the waiter about his rude behaviour. That's all great but I paid 70 Euros for nothing and was treated badly. For this reason alone, I would not return to the hotel and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone else.

We booked the hotel for three nights. Travel to main attractions was easy access five mins to nearest trams and bus stop was right outside the hotel. The room was clean and tidy but bathroom was outdated. Sink and bathtub was old and peeling off. Balcony was dirty. Breakfast was ok my husband is allergic to pork their food had no labels bit concerning. Cleaners of our room were very good thanks to staffs that cleaned our room. Receptionist staffs were informative and helpful.

We had a double room with ensuite facilities. There is parking I think on first come basis I am not sure you have to pay but it will tell you on their website. There is a good bus service and boat into Venice and you can buy a 3 day ticket at the hotel reception. We found the reception staff very helpful.
