We stayed here for a short 3 day trip to Venice. It is really easy to get to from the airport and just a short walk from the bus station. The rooms a huge and immaculate, bathroom is a good size but the shower is a bit on the small side - just don't drop anything or your bum opens the door as you bend down! Really helpful staff. Great choice on the buffet breakfast but was a bit surprised that there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room. I would revisit as it's a quiet location. If you plan on visiting Venice don't get the hop on hop off red water taxis, just pay for the standard 2 or 3 (or however long you need) travel ticket. It is valid on the buses and water taxis as many times as you like and they run throughout the night too. Venice doesn't have trading hours so businesses open and close as they choose.

Staying on the mainland is cheaper than Venice itself. The hotel is situated around the corner from the bus that takes you into Venice (10 mins ride and is every 15 mins and costs €1.30). The train station is 5 minutes walk away.
The hotel was clean, with modern bathrooms and simple bedroom furniture. The room was cleaned each day and fresh towels supplied. Body/hair wash, soap and shower caps were supplied daily. There was a shower, toilet , bidet, basin and hair dryer. The room was a good size, had air conditioning, a safe, hanging space, shelves, desk and chair. The bed was comfortable and clean. The free WIFI had a strong signal. The windows were double glazed, so there was little noise from outside and we didn't hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. There was a lift and stairs.
The lady on reception was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. She supplied us with maps and train times and you can buy bus tickets from her. Buying tickets on the bus is more expensive.
Breakfast was between 7 and 10 and was a relaxed affair. It was a cold buffet with a few heatable options, which you heated yourself in the toaster oven. Cold options were: selection of meats, a cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurts, cereal, chocolate and plain croissants, maderia cake, crisp breads, jams and butter, orange juice, normal and soya milk. Hot options were: toast, pizza rolls, ham and cheese toasties, and ham and cheese croissants, which you heated yourself. Hot coffee and a variety of teas. A few items changed during our 4 day stay. Quality was good, especially for the price we paid of ÂŁ68 per night including breakfast.
Tips: Buy bus tickets from reception, they are cheaper (€1.30 into venice, 10 mins journey). Avoid the bus back from Venice between 5 and 6, its crammed with workers. If staying for a few days buy a travel pass, they cost €20 for 24hrs, then another €10 each additional day. It covers your bus and Vaporetto (water taxi). You will save money in the long run, because Vaporettos are €7.50 each journey. Take a Vaporetto to the islands of Murano to buy some glass and to the Lido, to relax on the beach. There is a great English pub 10 minute down the road from the hotel called 'Marciano', which does great burger and chips (€9, food served from 7pm) and has a happy hour (€3.75 for a pint) between 6 and 7.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Best tip for anyone staying in Venice is to stay outside the city.
My husband and I stayed at the this hotel, it is close to the station and bus stop to into Venice.
This is the best hotel I stayed in Mastre. The staff are so friendly you will get a long easily .
The room we stayed in was huge and the bathroom was excellent and very clean.
Breakfast was the best we had, all that I saw was there was one chef and he is really good, clean and tops up the food that is nearly finished every time.
I would seriously recommend this Hotel honestly, its not far from Venice Centre you only need to take a bus, if you heard that Venice is smelly, they are right!
To get a bus ticket to Venice, ask the reception, they sell the tickets and accept cash only as this is separate from the hotel costs
Again if you were on a budget this is the best hotel I've seen and stayed. its well worth it!
Happy Hotel Hunting!

Quite good hotel for car travelers with own parking, relevant pricing, good own bar and restaurant. Easy to get to Venice by bus. Bus station is just 50 meters from the hotel. Hotel is new with well furniture. Spacious rooms and bathrooms.

It’s a deception even for a budget hotel. We knew it is a siderais hotel, at an affordable price but it had smell of smoke in the lobby (if you can call that a hotel lobby). The rooms besides looking old, with broken windows and exposes electrical wires in the bathroom - had a terrible smell of cleaning product. Like someone just dropped 1L of a strong cleaning product on the floor 10min before our checkin. Got my eyes red and nose irritated in just five minutes inside the room. The room where my in-laws were was even worst. We opened the windows but it was impossible to remain inside. It has very low standards. The receptionist was very unprofessional and rude to us. We decided to move to another hotel. It wouldn’t be impossible sleep in there. I have traveled the world and never been exposed to such a bad overall experience. There are much newer properties in Mestre area for the same price range. Avoid this place at all cost.

This is a very good hotel for the money, just outside Venice. Our room was clean and quite spacious, and the rooms are located above a restaurant so the breakfast was great! Lots of options. I had baked apple and panna cotta one morning. Definitely the best range of options we had in Italy!
The location to Venice could not be better. There are two buses that pick you up just up the street and they drop you off even closer (like it is as close to the doorstep of the hotel as you can get).
The staff was so friendly and very helpful with instructions on getting to Venice. I would like to stay on Venice just to get that experience, but would absolutely stay here again!

I liked the fact that from Mestre railway station I took just 10 min walking slowly with the bags and that there are bus stops to go to Venice city center and back just a few minutes away. I also enjoyed the hotel having an elevator and all information that was given by the staff about how and where to buy the tickets, where the bus stops were, the best way to go to the airport and about the hour changing (31st March). The map we were given was very helpful. In Venice, there are no free maps available at the information desks, you have to pay 3€ for it. I was also very pleased to be given a twin room facing a quiet yard, as I had requested. The room was very clean. Plus, the lady at the front desk kindly printed our boarding passes and met all the requirements we asked for. Overall I was rather pleased with this choice.
Nevertheless, I wished breakfast could have been better. The pictures of the hotel show peeled sliced fruit, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber and bottled water, and we didn't get any of these. And we chose the hotel also considering what we would find for breakfast. I mean, it was not bad but it lacks more quantity and variety. The mattresses and the pillows could also have been better, in my opinion. Still, I think if you don't put your expectations very high, you won't be disappointed.

This hotel is just a bus ride into Venice. The people are all helpfully and very pleasant speak good English. Helped with which bus to get where the stops were, and also advise on best way to get around Venice. Our room was clean and large, there was a large variety for breakfast. Nothing was to much trouble. Recommend to anyone.

Lovely large sized room
excellent breakfast - lots of choice
easy bus trip (€1.50) into venice
As a budget hotel, no great facilities, but when you spend the day in venice you don't need facilities - just a clean comfortable room

They are very helpful. I'm sure they would.
There is a bus from mastre station whisch is not far from the hotel
The bus goes direct to the airport not sure how much it was, however its a good cheap option
Yes there is transport to airport. Breakfast is good and included. Yes there is hai dryer. From venice the train ride is 6 or 7 minutes
we can arrange gluten free breakfast with an advanced request. best regards, Hotel Autoespresso
You should check atvo bus lines. They have shuttles that will leave you at mestre train station which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can buy the tickets before arriving there and if you do make sure you've print them. Also make sure you chose the correct airport when purchasing (there are 2 airports near Venice).
