In these difficult times of corona, the hotel business suffers a lot. Additionally, the Italian tourism is often a family business which could mean even more financial problems. Taking this into account, it was a great pleasure to receive such wonderful help offered by your hotel and your service in our individual complicated situation. We experienced the full understanding with an almost family-like approach to our problem. We have been guests in the Italian resorts for past years, but we have never experienced such great hospitality. We are looking forward to visiting your hotel as soon as the covid times are over.
Good - rooms are nice as is the hotel in general - junior staff very pleasant - good food Bad - thermostat didn’t work making our room temperature very unpleasant - if you intend to do some work give this hotel a miss - WiFi very bad and you cannot run some apps Ugly - management are really shocking- we got caught in the corona virus pandemic and they were unbudging - we had to pay for all the days we booked even though we had to get out. The attached photo is such a good encapsulation of how devious this management team is - there is NO free parking (only free WiFi which hardly works). There are better hotel options in the village
I made a reservation using Hotels.com to this hotel as it was saying it is a Ski-in/Ski-out hotel. I double paid for it. In reality, I found myself walking 200 meters (hills, stairs, ice) in order to get to the gondola. Moreover, the bed's matres was a disaster. If there is something you would like to do after a good ski day is to sleep well. Save yourself some good money and find a chipper hotel.
We have arrived home today after spending an absolutely lovely week in Madonna di Campiglio. We were not disappointed with our choice of hotel and so pleased that we booked this hotel. From the moment we arrived they made us feel very welcome and upgraded our room for free to room 209. Our room was so lovely and spacious with a balcony which looked out upon the mountains. Our room was spotless and cleaned everyday and when we got home of an evening we found our bed had been turned down which was a very nice touch. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers and places to put your ski gear. Our showers were always very hot, with plenty of towels and hairdryer. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, always nice and we ate well before hitting the slopes. The bar and sitting area was cosy, and welcoming and we enjoyed many a drink. The ski room was spacious with boot warmers... always good, and plenty of room to stack your skies. In terms of the hotel position, we couldn’t have asked for more in terms of shops and restaurants and bars being so close. In terms of getting up the mountain, the nearest gondola the ‘5 Lunghi Express’ was a 5/7 minute walk, the Spinale Express Gonola a good 10 minutes maybe more walking in ski boots! I didn’t find this to hard work. I think it was piste number 55 that took you down close to the hotel at the end of the day. We popped down to the spa/pool one afternoon, it was really nice but we weren’t there for that, but again clean and well maintained. I really have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We found the members of staff so very lovely, helpful, hardworking and genuinely nice. I would not hesitate to go back to this resort, and most definitely this hotel. When we left this morning at 6.30 am they had prepared a breakfast for us to take for our journey down the mountain which was a great touch.…
Overall a good hotel but not what i expected , the thing that disapointed me was the food ( dinner courses, brekfast was very good) some things were uneatable , also the staff has very poor knowledge of any other language beside Italian .
