Amazing view on the gulf. It’s possible to watch Portovenere from the balcony. It’ s a 3 stars but with 4 stars services. Spa with great masseuse. A renovation would be suggested, but it’s hard time for all the categories!

This hotel has a perfect location and the views from the balcony are amazing. however the room was very small , the furniture was broken and it looked like someone had stolen the pictures off the walls. we stayed for 2 nights and we had no hot water either night, we did complain and were told an engineer would sort it this must have been a joke. we heard other guests also complaining of this issue. The breakfast is taken up stairs on the 6th floor, once an item was gone eg croissants they were not replenished so if you were late for breakfast there was no choice. The famous waffle machine was broken too. The hotel appears to be having some work done to the annexe at the side hopefully this will be start of a complete refurbishment because that is what it needs.

We were very disappointed on finding we had been given the wrong room and it could not be changed for three days. we had booked a room with a balcony and seaview which this hotel was recommended for. instead we got a room at the side with the balcony covered in bushes and no view when sitting down. the male receptionists also need to be trained in customer care - no apologies and generally unhelpful attitude most of the time.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room at the front - not at the side - if you want a sea view and some sun.

We stayed one night and were generally very satisfied with the hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location is excellent (across the road from a rock-beach and two minutes from sandy ones). It's also two minutes from the main square with its numerous bars and restaurants; -and the boat trip departure quays. It is about 10 minutes from the Castle. No on-site parking, but there's a drop off just opposite the hotel and its possible to obtain from reception a daily "scratch card" €7 pd permit to park in a public car park about 7 mins walk away. The only negatives are that the rooms are quite small (though with decent balconies); and as other reviews have suggested are probably in need of some refreshment and refurbishment. All in all, though, a good choice for a seaside break in this pretty Italian resort.

Myself husband & my brother and my son came to Lerici for a family wedding. Lerici itself is just beautiful and this hotel is overlooking the bay. When we arrived we had some problem with our room but Gerry on reception sorted it all out quickly. He went to great lengths to sort out the problem and eventually upgraded us to another room. I can honestly say he was so professional and helpful and I loved his American accent and we really appreciated it The entire staff were excellent The breakfast was lovely and a wonderful selection to choose from. Sitting looking across the bay first thing in the morning at breakfast was a delightful start to the day. We absolutely recommend this hotel and it made our stay in Lerici a memory to cherish, well done Gerry & all your colleagues.
