At the end of a skilful and careful renovation work, the historic residence returns to its ancient splendor which now houses the "Le Club Boutique Hotel", in the heart of the historic center of Lecce, a few steps from the most representative sites and monuments of " The Florence of the South". It was first the residence of the Bonsecolos, an ancient and noble family originally from Nardò, whose most illustrious ancestors included Theodore, Bishop of Lecce, who passed away in 1108. It subsequently became the property of the Episcopal Curia which made it the seat of the canteen of Episcopate.

Le Club Boutique Hotel, located in Baroque Lecce, in the historic center of the city, has an attention to details widespread throughout the entire structure. Relying on the advice of our staff, we will take you to the most fascinating neighborhoods of Lecce, a stone's throw from the Duomo, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Basilica of Santa Croce and Palazzo dei Celestini, but also in shopping streets.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a plus, the hotel has an excellent location if you are walking. On the contrary I could say that the breakfast is incomplete, and they put the same pastry from previous days for several days. The room is a bit dark. Cleaning of the room is also incomplete, only make the bed do not clean the floor or remove trash from the basketsIf you are driving the nearest parking is 6 blocks away

Hotel in the historic center of Lecce, in a very convenient position and with paid parking nearby. The hotel staff is very kind, the rooms are a little small but certainly clean and equipped. Good quality breakfast. Definitely recommended.

We received a room on the second floor, and only after we booked in were told that the lift was out of order. We had to climb a very difficult staircase to get to our room, so we tried to go up and down as little as possible. They refused to change our room on the first day, and only on the second day they changed our room to the first floor. The lift was not fixed for the entire duration of our stay.
The room was very old fashioned, the mattress was smaller than the bed frame. The duvet did not have a cover.
Breakfast was quite good.
The hotel is in the old city, so we had to park outside the old city at paid parking and walk around 10 minutes to reach hotel.
We would not stay here again.

I think my room was last redone sometime in the 70's when dark wood pannels were in style. Bathroom was fine but there was a hair in the sink and bidet upon arrival and still there after being 'cleaned' the next day. Dust was on everything. One day the elevator didn't work and I was on a tour with several older people who suffered the stairs. Breakfast was acceptable. I was told by one couple that their room was fairly modern. Unused bar and restaurant other than breakfast room. This place is old and tired.

The staff made the stay somewhat worthwhile. The hotel room must have been designed by a man, whose trade was not construction. For instance, the door to the bathroom was lovely, but it is a see through door. So, Le Club put a shower curtain in front of the door when one uses the toilet. Or, you open the armoire but it strikes the bed so it cannot be left open. Or you open the window, but then as you pass to your side of the bed, you hit your head on the frame, or the shower is so small, just don’t drop the very small bar of soap because you won’t be able to pick it up. Suggestion, find another hotel in town, great staff does not overcome a poor hotel room.

This hotel is tucked away in a nice section of old town. It is close to all of the shopping, restaurants and nightlife. We visited at the end of November but still found several patios open to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman in the bar / breakfast area. The rooms were a decent size for European standard. We would recommend this hotel.

This is a truly beautiful hotel situated in a quiet street in central Lecce, the room was special and well appointed accessible by lift and stairs. The breakfast was everything required with the option of fresh cooked food on order. The staff were friendly and informative and contributed to an amazing holiday,if you are intending to stay in Lecce is there a better place?

Very central in the old town. The restaurants, bars and shops are all very close. Staff is very very friendly. I would call the rooms not charming as the name suggests ( boutique hotel, guys) and a bit outdated but quiet. I was expecting a more user friendly bathroom and a comfy bed.

Hotel was modern and very clean. Our room was large and the bathroom area adequate. The breakfasts however need a lot of improvement. It was barely adequate. The location is excellent and the staff helpful. Parking is about a ten minute walk. It cost us 18 euros for three days so very reasonable. You can stay here with confidence.
