If you're visiting Lecce this should be at the top of the list of hotels you consider. The location is ideal, the front side of the hotel is outside of the old town and there is a parking lot right across the street. The back door of the hotel is inside the old town and the Piazza Duomo is about a 3 minute walk away which puts you in the heart of the action. The train station is less than a 15-minute walk away.
The design of the hotel is modern and the rooms were nicely sized. Many hotels have dressers but instead Arryvo has a more modern shelving setup which works better for tourists; instead of putting stuff into drawers and having to hunt for it all your stuff is right there in front of you. The hotel was clean and housekeeping did a good job. Since the hotel also has a restaurant the breakfast was a step above what is often found in hotels. One concern we had was noise; they have a dance floor and bar on the first floor and we were concerned it could be noisy until the wee hours. But it was quiet in Sept when we visited and we were told things in the bar don't get going until late in October. The front desk staffers spoke excellent English and were helpful with suggestions about places to go and things to see in the region. We had read the Lonely Planet Puglia guide as well as some blogs from travelers to the region but it's nice to be able to talk things over with a local.
I was a bit surprised to learn this isn't a chain but a single hotel. They seem to have a winning formula that could work well in towns all across Italy.

We stay in Lecce often. Arryvo was a breath of fresh air. Not only by Lecce standards but by Puglia standards. Modern, functional and style-wise seemingly part inspired by some of the boutique hotels common to London’s Hoxton and Shoreditch areas.
The staff were exceptionally pleaseant, helpful and proud. It felt very inclusive, an important consideration for us. Another unique detail during our stay: we did not see a male member of staff. Whether this was by accident or otherwise, it matters only to show the progressive thinking behind Arryvo.
Comfort and style already covered, then comes value. We had an economy double room - with terrace, table and chairs - for one night, for 101€. This included (let us say again, included) one of the most filling and delicious breakfasts we have had during our travels around Puglia.
Starting with coffee, water, fruit juices and pastries. (As an aside the classic Salento pasticciotto is an absolute must for any visitor to Lecce).
A selection of cooked breakfasts follows the pastry selection. It’s not one or the other, but both. We chose scrambled eggs with bacon (a generous, delicious serving) and avocado on toast. The menu also offered pancakes with maple syrup.
Even without the smiling faces of happy and helpful staff we consider that value enough.

This hotel met beyond my expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable beds. The coffee bar and breakfast was delicious. This location drops you right in the heart of old town Lecce while still be accessible from car transports. The staff were very accommodating and helpful! Highly recommend for your visit to Lecce and Puglia.

The hotel is located across from the university and is well positioned to explore the beautiful historic center of Lecce. We selected it because of the location and availability of parking, which is in a lot across the street with dedicated spots for hotel guests @ 15 euros per night. The hotel has a lively light-hearted vibe largely I think to appeal to the students who gather there in the restaurant/ Cafeteria on the ground floor. This is not a luxury hotel but it is clean, modern & comfortable with a friendly staff. I was initially concerned that it would be noisy in the evenings, but it was not. One of the best things about it was it’s location. The back entrance opened to the gloriously beautiful and lively historic center. The hotel also had a self-service laundry with directions in English and detergent automatically dispensed so no need to buy any. We had a nice lunch in the restaurant when we arrived. The main reason I did not rate it higher is that we couldn’t pick up internet in our room and kept having to go to the lobby to sign on. Once Gloria, a very friendly & helpful young woman in reception, enabled us to sign on from our room but the following day we were told that we have to get it from the lobby.

Hotel was incredibly clean and staff were great. There was a rooftop bar and breakfast was amazing, so much choice (continental as well as Italian). The location was perfect - 5 minute walk to the old town and sites, but not right in the city so it was perfectly quiet at night.

Fabulous hotel and staff. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Restuarant is excellent and situated edge of the Old Town of Lecce allowing for plenty of browsing and walking through the streets to take in the history of the area. Some lovely restaurants with excellent fit, pasta etc. We booked a Walking Tour with street food and a Pata Making experience and both were delightful and value for money. A day trip to Gallipoli with more history and fabulous seafood. Staff at Arryvo are professional and very friendly. They go out of their way to help and shout outs to Frederica, Gloria, Lara and Elena who should be commended on their customer service - highly recommend Arryvo and Lecce

One of the best hotel’s I’ve stayed in. I very rarely write reviews for hotels (my job requires my partner and I to stay at a lot of hotels) but Arryvo was outstanding.
My husband and I came to this hotel twice on our Honeymoon as a quick stop off between other destinations. The staff we helpful and went out of their way to help us we were made to feel instantly welcome. The reception staff were excellent.
The rooms were clean and modern, the shower was good, and the bed comfortable. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room - but the bar downstairs made one of the best coffees I’ve had in Italy.
If you’re looking for somewhere, clean, simple, modern and easy then this is the place for you. Lecce is a bit of late night town so they provide earplugs too.
I will definitely return if I can.

We went to Puglia to enjoy the Notte della Taranta concert. I never thought it would be an excellent choice, perhaps the best possible. A hotel so close to the historic center of Lecce, quiet, spotlessly clean, cheap, modern and above all convenient for being able to park your car in the nearby car park (just a stone's throw from the hotel) and enjoy walking around the city several times. Welcoming staff with a smile, always ready to respond to any need regarding a happy stay in Lecce.

It was an excellent experience at the hotel, they made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at the hotel they received us very kindly, they explained everything to us. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, everything is super clean and very tasteful. There is a very nice terrace to have a drink and rest. The people who serve the buffet always took good care of us and tried to explain and understand us in Spanish. We had a personal problem and they selflessly helped us and solved the problem. I highly recommend it, it is in an excellent location and half a block away there is a parking lot, very important if you go by car. The best hotel we stayed in in the South of Italy.
