Detailed Reviews
We were in Lecce for a friend's wedding. They had kindly listed a selection of the best hotels in Lecce and we found Palazzo Lecce to be the one we felt would best suit our stay. We were there for 4 nights and I cannot speak higher of the staff, who made our stay as accommodative as possible.
The room we were in (number two) was on the first floor with a small juliet balcony which we did not really use. The space was quite tight for the 3 suitcases and 1 bag we had, but was was very well designed with high ceilings. The bathroom was very modern and although I personally would have preferred a slightly larger shower unit, they have definitely made good use of the space they do have available. The room was very quiet and we had next-to-no outside noise during the night.
The rooftop area is very pleasant, although we only had one drink up there. It is reliant on the staff coming up to serve which they would happily do, and is where breakfast is served. We did not have breakfast included and due to a few late nights on the wedding were unable to attend on any day so cannot provide commentary on this. The rooftop pool is more a plunge pool, but nice to have as an option should the heat get too much for you. It felt very secluded on the rooftop.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Lecce for a few days, although if you were there for longer you may wish to pay for a more spacious room than we had.

We spent just one night in this amazing place and everything was just perfect 🤩. This boutique hotel is located in the heart of the old town of Lecce. The building and the decoration of the rooms is breathtaking, every detail has been thought for the comfort of the hosts. The terrasse with the small swimming pool and the view on the roofs of Lecce is a little paradise in the city. The breakfast was included and absolutely delicious with local products and fresh juices.
Last but not least, the manager Nabil and the housekeeper Laura are very kind and available all the time, and do all they can to make your stay unforgettable.
We really hope to come back soon!

Palazzo Lecce has so much going for it. The overall design and finishing is new and among the best I have ever seen in a small hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great, a nice rooftop deck and the location at the edge of the old town is perfect.
I wonder, however, if the owners/designers have ever stayed in a hotel, because if they have they wouldn’t have put in a shower that’s 2 meters long but only about half a meter wide - it’s cool that it has a 6 meter ceiling and huge glass door, but good luck turning around in it. I like that the hotel uses bottled shampoo etc. but the small shelf they sit on seems perfectly placed to hit it with your elbow every single time, causing the bottles to fall and break their top. Sure, European showers are small but this one was very difficult to use.
Similarly, the entire wall that separated bedroom from bathroom is cool in frosted glass, but for some reason the designers have put lights in both open closets that turn on when you walk by them (day and night) lighting up the entire bedroom and of course if you turn on a bathroom light at night, the frosted glass also lights up the bedroom. All great except if you get up in the middle of the night and your partner is a light sleeper. According to staff these can’t be disabled, solution given was to take out the power card - but then of course there’s no lighting and no device charging etc.
I really wanted to love this hotel because it looks so nice and that’s worth a lot, but as a place to sleep and shower it has its flaws. I’d mention the room didn’t have a safe (what new place doesn’t have one of those these days) but maybe there wasn’t a cool way to fit it in.

The moment we stepped into this scrumptious property after the horrendous day of missed flights, frustration and physical and emotional exhaustion, we felt pampered, spoiled and in an absolute awe from all that we saw around us. Every single detail in the room and in the public areas around this gorgeous hotel deserves your attention and praise! Beautiful, modern with a touch of antique, spotless and most stylish boutique hotel! Each room offers different amenities. Ours had the cutest balcony overlooking the street and it was a lovely sight. The hotel rooftop is so beautiful and has a tiny pool that we used every day to cool off in the heat. A breakfast is being offered there too in the lounge area where you can relax and have a drink. The best part of our stay though was being spoiled by the most wonderful and hospitable people who work there! Caterina, Simone, Laura and Jalena, your warm hospitality and desire to help shone through and we are very thankful for all your suggestions on places, beaches and restaurants! Already miss our magnificent Palazzo Lecce!

Do NOT hesitate. Palazzo Lecce is THE place to stay in Lecce. Situated on the edge of the old town, it is an oasis of comfort and relaxation. The décor is astounding and attention has been paid to every detail. We stayed in a spacious room with a huge bathroom, equipped with his and hers showers and sinks, and there was a quaint private patio as well. The spa is most enjoyable. Breakfast is delicious, too. But the best are the staff, Laura is a gem, and Andrea is very helpful. They both went out of their way to make sure that our stay at Palazzo Lecce was special. It truly was.

My wife and I have just returned from a holiday in Puglia. Last stop was Lecce and our travel agent booked us in the Palazzo Lecce hotel We checked it out before travelling and it looked OK for 3 nights. I have to say it was more than "OK" - it was superb! The staff are all so polite and helpful, the breakfasts are amazing, the location is great for the walks about the city old town, free car parking is close by. There is also a rooftop bar and plunge pool to relax in after a long day. The rooms are all to a very high standard and full of hi-tech lighting and tv. Even has a small Spa but we did not have the time to use. Don't worry about booking this hotel it is absolutely superb.

Small structure, at the beginning of the historic center, located in a superbly renovated old palace.
A very great decorator's work combining design and baroque spirit, high vaulted ceiling, technical prowess with taps and lamps which extend from the ceiling located 5 meters higher. Room number 2, luxury, very good, very refined, original.
The common areas are in unison with the rooms, very decorative and successful.
Located in the ZTL, you can access it by car to drop off luggage, parking in the blue zone 5 minutes away, €13 per day convenient with the easypark application.
Terrace with swimming pool where breakfast is served.
Friendly, French-speaking staff.

This small boutique hotel is located inside the historic city, within walking distance of all the important sites and nice restaurants. The manager and other staff are extremely helpful and hospitable. They made sure our stay was very comfortable. The daily breakfast was top notch. They also had plenty of suggestions for places to visit and restaurant recommendations. And they went above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend this property.
