2000-2018: 18 years after its first opening, Hotel Aloisi has been totally restored, thus, after a 4-months restauration work, its doors have been reopened revealing a new look and an industrial, minimal chic style. The whole concept is conceived based on an architecture respectful of the places where the hotel is and operates, interacting with them and listening closely to their genius loci. This explains the origin of the main colour, green as the olive trees, and of the materials, where dominating is the olive tree wood: the olive tree, the Mediterranean plant par excellence, is the leading tread of the furnishings, either in the common areas and inside the rooms. Main types of rooms: deluxe, superior, standard, providing all comforts, 2 km far from the historical city centre. The throbbing heart of the Hotel Aloisi is the Bistrot Kilo, a modern environment with an innovative concept, lively and adjusted to the quality, exquisiteness and healthiness criteria in all the choices p

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the first hotel of our 15 day Puglia holiday which has the best breakfast. Mauricio has offered us after one night the next day another room on the same floor as our children's room. That was really nice.
This restaurant has its own bar and patisserie that you can use until the evening. The staff at the restaurant and cleaning are friendly and helpful. They can also communicate in English. We have not experienced that in the other hotels.
There are some points of interest that can be addressed and that is the elevator that drops when you board. The shower tap that is not a thermostatic tap. This makes showering pleasant and less likely to burn. The water at the sink often stays warm even in the cold setting and does not drain well. The door can be replaced with a sliding door and provides more space. The door now opens inwards and therefore little room to move in the bathroom. If the bathroom is adjusted at these points, this will result in more points for the hotel.

The added value is the Staff: friendly and helpful. If you Trips by bike, you can safely park both bicycle and car. Great breakfast. Suggestions: Check the rooms for some maintenance work. Thanks to Mr. Maurizio and Mr. Ismail.

I could have given it 4 stars but the fact that the room smelled so much of tobacco forced me to give it a lower rating. An unbearable smell, and there was an ashtray in the room, which means you can smoke inside the rooms. The hotel looks new and the rooms are very modern. There is private parking behind the hotel. Good breakfast.

Brand new structure with an excellent location for visiting Salento (one minute from the ring road). Center easily reachable by car. The rooms are medium in size but functional and spotless (room tidying and linen change daily). In general the structure is comfortable, functional, very clean and tidy. Breakfast is served in the hotel bistro. Honestly, I didn't find what I read in the other reviews. The breakfast included everything that can be found in breakfasts. Furthermore, here, in addition to croissants and pasticciotti (various flavours), there were fresh biscuits and tarts prepared by them. In this regard, I would like to add that the apricot and apple jam tart that I found at the counter every morning made my breakfasts amazing and very sweet. Very good coffee.
Friendly, polite and very helpful staff. Thanks in particular to Maurizio who helped me look for a hairdresser open in August at 8.30 in the morning... I appreciated it very much.
We will certainly return. Highly recommended

Unfortunately I had the worst night sleep I've ever had in this hotel. Well to be accurate, I got no sleep at all! They have spent money on doing up their hotel and the lobby and restaurant looks stunning, and the breakfast was great. However, they have not given the same attention to detail to their rooms. There was a smell that was like drains in the room which was horrible. There is a dangerous shelf with a metal railings hanging above the place you put a suitcase which my partner hit his head on the sharp corner... not a clever decision to put it there. The paintwork in our room was unfinished, the towels were threadbare, and the mattress was truly terrible - so cheap and so uncomfortable I was in great pain. I went to complain at 2am and was taken to another empty room to give me a pillow from the bed there - I asked if I could sleep in that room instead but I was told I wasn't allowed to. We had a second night there, so as I could not sleep due to the cheap old mattress, I spent the night searching for another hotel to stay in. It then took two more days to get the hotel to refund me for the second night and lots of phone calls as they had to take it up with the hotel owner Aloisi who was on holiday. They should have refunded me for the first night too really as I was treated terribly. Even the nice Receptionist on the desk in the morning -Maurizio said they didn't get it right, and I should have been offered another room. So no personal service received there at all. It would have been nice to have heard from Aloisi himself with an apology.

I am very happy with this choice, we had booked with my husband for a short stay. more for convenience than necessity, then for reasons beyond our control we had to extend our stay. We had a great time, first of all for the cleanliness of the rooms, with bathroom linen changed daily, rooms not gigantic but equipped with every comfort (such as a desk and chair, bench for suitcases---- I specify because they are not things to be taken for granted even in much more pretentious hotels) The location was excellent for our needs. Good breakfast. Very kind staff. they tried to accommodate us for the needs that arose during our stay in every way and all these things at a truly honest price. Thank you Aloisi hotel. we have found our base for our next stays in Lecce!

I frequent the hotel bar because very close to my home, it is a great place accessible not only to those staying at the hotel but also to those who want to stop and have breakfast or just a stop.
Very good pastry, high quality products and with a lot of choice; very kind staff..... a new environment, clean and basically very pleasant.
Lucky to have it close!!

Very warm welcome in the evening on arrival. Room overlooking the rear of the building, quiet at night. But woken up by the service staff at 8:30am, who talk loudly and move the furniture by dragging it on the floor. We would have liked to be able to wake up peacefully, the morning receptionist shows no understanding of the problem.

Well maintained and clean location
We as a family enjoyed breakfast which in my opinion was good. The only flaw is perhaps few gluten and lactose free products
Well-maintained rooms even if small. Basic bathroom. Poor reception kit.
We took advantage of the B&B treatment at an appropriate price for the overnight stay.
ADVISED

Motel very questionable, staff should learn the basics of education. The rooms are nothing big for the asking price and some do not even have a bidet.
On Lecce there is certainly better in terms of hospitality and rooms.
