Detailed Reviews
Words fail to capture the essence of this hidden but shining gem. What a paradise and gift to travelers. Walking in from the street you cannot help but be overwhelmed by the stately elegance and majestic setting of this awe striking retreat. Each room is impeccably designed but unique —the common areas are comfortably elegant, seductive and draw on the best in Italian interior designs. The rooftop may have one of the best views of the city and a pool to let you soak up its delights and sunsets. The staff —Daniele, Annchiara—those behind the scenes and the ones at every turn—ensure the place runs with care, warmth and attention to detail that make your stay so very memorable and painful to leave. This is a destination in and of itself.

We visited the Palazzo as part of a larger trip for our friends' wedding and decided to take a night to ourselves to celebrate my other half's birthday and so glad we did!
The hotel exudes elegance from the moment you walk in the door and as we wandered around it felt like we were moving through a piece of art which was augmented by the quiet soft pieces by Einaudi which played throughout the property.
We stayed in the Lady Astor Suite which, with it's high ceilings and ceiling height doors, envelopes you with a sense of regality and a hint of old Hollywood with the original bathroom suite and powder adding to the fabulous theatrical flair which I adored.
The rooftop pool was a little jewel in the heart of a very hot city , and the breakfast area is a true quiet retreat.
I could go on and on about how fabulous this property is (you will not be disappointed), however the most most impressive aspect for us were the staff. Annachiara could not have been more accommodating, more pleasant and more charming and the same could be said for all the staff that we spoke with so a huge and sincere thank you to them to making our stay and my partner's birthday so special. We definitely hope to be back x

Palazzo Bozzi Corso is absolutely stunning — so beautifully decorated throughout (although I personally find the Yoko Ono emphasis a bit odd!)
The location is great — right in the heart of historic Lecce, moments from Santa Croce church and from the duomo, with lots of great bars and restaurants around.
The concierge service is top notch — finding last minute New Years Eve bookings, arranging transportation, providing helpful suggestions and so on.
My quibbles are around:
- breakfast: beautifully served, and the bread, cheese and juice are great but the ham, eggs and pastries were not as good as they could have been
- no information provided on roof terrace and spa; it may be that they were closed as it is winter but would just have been good to clarify

This property is very elegant and discreet, in the very heart of the old town. Our room (Lalla Soukaina) was marvellous, elegantly furnished and with plenty of space. Communal rooms on the same floor were very spacious, elegant and provided an oasis of peace and quiet. Flawless service. Most wonderful host, who showed us around the museum to commemorate her ancestor. Outstanding, I’d give it six stars, if it was possible.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived at the hotel. From the lovely/stately/historic Lecce street where it is located, there is hardly any marking to indicate the hotel exists. Instead, there is a huge historical door. Thankfully, the staff answered my phone call and came out to meet me within 10 seconds!
OK, then imagine my reaction when they opened the huge palazzo doors and I walked into a stone courtyard that was converted into a delightful lobby. The palazzo’s front facade rises up in front of me. What a place!
Then, I’m immediately served my choice of beverage while my bags are taken to my room and the amazing team begins to share the story of this unique property which is centuries old and yet recently totally remodeled. The property’s current ownership family has roots in Lecce but also in the art world of Paris. So, interesting pieces of great art are all around and the family even has a separate art museum in town!
My room is lovely, spacious, and luxurious. Great amenities of every type. I didn’t see any other rooms but my room had a “city view” - and what a view it was! Looking out over the other buildings and rooftops, church steeples, etc.
Don’t get me started on the other indoor common living room and dining room areas! So tasteful and luxurious! I would just come there to sit and read - such a pleasure.
Speaking of sitting and reading, my rooms’ view was outdone only by the rooftop bar, terrace and small plunge pool! Views of the entire historical center! Truly delightful.
The hotel’s location is right smack in the middle of the most lovely part of Lecce’s historical district. A stone’s throw from, in my opinion, the town’s most lovely piazza and church - along with restaurants and bars everywhere.
The staff was outstanding. Great recommendations. When exploring that region, I would just call and get “live” advice and reservations etc. In particular, I remember Annachiara as being amazingly resourceful and responsive.
Fantastic experience! Can’t wait to visit again!

Outstanding! The service and the very large room were excellent and we cannot recommend this hotel more highly. Any information we needed was provided on request by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you Benny and Ricardo!
The breakfast buffet is sublime, with the freshest and tastiest delights on offer, from fresh fruits, to pastries, cereals, yoghurts and granola, with hot dishes on offer too.
We’d highly recommend this hotel if you’re in Lecce!
(The rooftop pool was lovely, but do be warned that the cocktails served on the rooftop are very expensive. We paid 18 euro for a non-alcoholic mojito.)

We enjoyed our first time in Lecce and loved our comfortable stay here. It is a nice spot in the old town and our room with a view really lived up to its name. It was very comfortable also.
We particularly enjoyed the artwork and family history around them and the people working there were friendly and attentive. We don’t usually comment on breakfast but thought this one was particularly good with a nice location outside.
We had seen that others have been very complimentary of the rooftop bar. It is a great location but one of the nights we were there the bartender seemed slow and distracted. Everyone has an off night so it was no big deal and we only mention it for completeness.

Beautiful place and rooms, good service and breakfast. Very close to the historic center and restaurants. The staff are always available to help you through WhatsApp, with dinner reservations and/or tours needed in the area. Their roof top bar very good.

This hotel is superb in every way. The location is perfect for visitors to Lecce, and the service and ambience is excellent. There is a restaurant in a nearby sister hotel and lots of suitable eateries within minutes, either for fine dining or more low key tucker.

We stayed in the Lady Astor suite and it was very authentic with the bathroom exactly as it was with Lady Astor. The suite was large with plenty of closet space and we had a nice patio to sit outside.
The museum tour given each night to guests at no charge was worth doing. The love story is better than Romeo and Juliet.
Great location and nothing was more than ten minutes away. Very flat so easy walking. Lots of bars around if you don’t want to go to rooftop at hotel. Personally the rooftop at hotel was lacking in service and bartender had an attitude. Didn’t distract from stay as didn’t go again.
A huge shout out to Bernadette whom was spot on with lunch recommendations for each town we visited. She also wrote down suggestions for our next stay. Bernadette is a doll and Fiermonte is lucky to have her. She really made our stay so special. She couldn’t do enough for us.
This was a wonderful stay!!! Grazie
