From the moment we arrived in Lecce, Francsca guided us to our Parking Lot and then welcomed us with open arms to Attico Barocco.
Having given us a map with clear directions and sites to see, we self-guided a walking tour of the city, finding hidden gems around every corner.
Lecce is a treasure of a town and Francesca is a native with a flair for hospitality.
At breakfast the next day, Francesca's parents were there to help serve the guests with local pastries, (Pasticciotto) and freshly home-made cake along with the breakfast items we had preselected upon arrival.
We are planning next year's trip and if we are near Lecce, this will be a guaranteed stop.

Excellent location in Lecce. Everything here is first-class, from the little common area to the balcony, supply of free snacks and tea, modern bathrooms etc. The caffe next door is great for breakfast. Gianni is an excellent manager -always helpful. With hotter weather now extending into October, it would have been more comfortable had the AC not been turned off for the season - something for the owners to consider for next year.

In the heart of the old city of Lecce you will find Attico Barocco.
it is hard to give a fair judgement without writing a book about the place.
But I’ll give it a try.
Gianni the host accompanied buy his lovely mom and dad is just worth the visit.
Nice rooms and areas in the B&B with a lovely balcony/terras where we spent late evenings with some of the other guests and Gianni.
The host is so friendly and helpful and also proud of his town, region and all the things he willingly helped us to visit or go to.
Lecce as a town is fabulous with it’s local food and wines.
The best evenings so far we spent on the terrace at the B&B with a glass of local wine listening to Gianni telling us about Lecce, Salento and the surroundings.
When you’re travelling to some places they catches your heart and you feel sad when you leave.
Lecce, Attico B and Gianni is such a moment.
But we do know that we will comeback for sure and see the rest of Salento

Room Tip: Listen to the host Gianni. He knows where to go and not. Otranto as a day trip was magic.

Our stay at Attica Barocco was wonderful. The B&B is situated in a beautiful building in the old town - everything is within walking distance. The terraces look out on the beautiful baroque cathedral. The rooms are impeccably clean, roomy and stylishly decorated. Best of all is Gianni who runs the b&b. He gave us great recommendations for dinners and lunches. We actually contacted him after we checked out and were in the west coast ofGallipoli. He was quick to give us a suggestion for lunch! Amazing service! I highly recommend this b&b!

This family run B&B, on the top floor (4th) in the old town of Lecce, was exceptional. Francesca and her family went out of their way to be hospitable - they could not have made more of an effort - from the outstanding, abundant breakfast spread, to making a cake for us on the morning that we left early.

The room was the most comfortable we had on our trip to Italy, at a very reasonable rate. A modern, spacious bedroom and bathroom with a private terrace. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a kettle and fridge (always great when travelling). The shared living space had a large balcony which overlooks the street below and has a view of Basilica di Santa Croce close by.

The B&B is very well located - on the edge of the old and new sections of the city, allowing us to offload our luggage nearby before parking the car at the cheap public parking a little way away. Definitely recommend.

Our stay with Francesca and her family at Attico Borroco was the highlight to our time in Lecce.

Honestly, don’t bother with anywhere else! This is the spot.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Modern shower and living space with a nice cosy bed and working air conditioner and television.

The location is also wonderful, with all areas of interest within walking distance.

Breakfast is delicious and Francesca and her family are incredibly hospitable.

Not much too add about the location: in the middle of everything and with very nice room. But it is Francesca who makes the difference: super nice host and the best croissants I have ever eaten...whenever I com back, this B&B will be my choice

For a simple B&B this place is amazing. A very modern and comfortable bedroom, spotlessly clean. Francesca was so friendly and welcoming - the perfect host speaking perfect English (but thanks so much for allowing us to practise our poor Italian !) Breakfast overlooking the old town was excellent - this is where we discovered pasticiotti and never looked back :-)

Stayed here for 3 nights in September, very comfortable, in a great position. The welcome and stay was exceptional, it made me feel almost like one of the family. The terrace has a great view and is perfect for relaxing after wandering round the city. The room was clean and well appointed, breakfast was brilliant (including home made cakes). If you need a stay in Lecce you can stay here with confidence.

Answer from Gianni C
Hello, we could give you two tips for parking: - You can park in public car parks (outlined by blue lines) close to the b&b, you would pay € 1.50 per hour from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm and from 04:00 pm to 09:00 pm (on holidays as on Sunday, you don't pay). In this case we advise you to park in the following streets: Via Achille Costa, Via XXV Luglio, Via G. Marconi, Viale Felice Cavallotti, Via S. Francesco D'Assisi; - You can park in the parking Foro Boario (the entrance to Lecce, reference City Terminal) located in Piazza Carmelo Bene. Here the price is € 2,00 per day. From this car park are 7 minutes of walking up to the b&b, or there is a shuttle bus that, for free, will take you a few meters from the b&b. The shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage or if they are heavy, you can tell us the number plate of your car, and you can get there by car at the entrance of the b&b to store your luggage. But then you have to park outside the ZTL area. We wish you our best regards.
