Great location, clean and modern. It's a fairly smallish hotel with 30 rooms, and has a beautiful pool area next door. While we were there it never got crowded. And some times we were the only one there. Because the hotel is it small it's really easy to get to the pool and that's a real great benefit.

You can use the very nice private beach 5 mins walk away at the Cefalu sea palace hotel (get your towels at reception there). They have a bar there on the beach.

The hotel has a fantastic location. Loads of restaurants snd shops nearby. Brilliant supermarket 5 min walk away.

Breakfast is included and it's situsted in a beautiful rooftop garden. While there is lots of cakes and pastries, just like too sweet. The only hot thing you can get is an omelette made by a very grumpy chef. And he will only make a plain omelette!

Staff at reception were super helpful and friendly. We had asked for quiet rooms, but they put us right by reception so it was quite noisy. The restaurant (serving drinks and light snacks) is open late and gets busy hence the noise.

Lovely room which was clean, comfortable and modern. Friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel is situated directly on the beach front. The beach is equipped with beds and umbrellas. I thought the beach bar was expensive for what was on offer. The hotel has a great bar/cafe which was really good value with great drinks and ice cream. Breakfast was adequate with decent coffee, breads, pastries and the option of an omelette. Plenty of restaurants and bars within the town very close by. The only downside was the very noisy beach bar opposite which played very loud music until the early hours most nights. Bring earplugs! Also pack your clothes carefully or take a travel iron as the hotel is unable to offer the use of an iron. We had a great time but probably wouldn’t stay here again due to the noise.

The hotel is in a great location across the road from the beach and a short walk to the old town.

When checking in, we were surprised by some of the rules, which we have never come across before!
1. You are given a pool towel but have to pay 5 euros to change it.
2. You get given one key per room and are charged 5 euros if you lose it.
3. You are not allowed to take any food or drink to your room and can only use what is offered in the mini bar, which was minimal. This wasn't too much of a problem except for when Housekeeping didn't replenish the fridge so I had no option but to bring refreshments from elsewhere.
4. You are not allowed to hang your wet towels on the balcony. I understand it doesn't look nice when towels are draped over the balcony but at least provide something to hang them on inside the balcony.

The room was very basic, which I expect in Italy but it was clean. There was very minimal hanging space and the two drawers were so tiny, you could hardly fit anything in them. Bring your own hangers as there are only a few. There were also only two plug sockets, one being in the bathroom!

On our first night, we were kept awake by loud music which seemed like it was coming from above. We had no warning of this and it didn't stop until very late.

Breakfast was the worst I think we've ever encountered in a hotel. There were far too many sweet options, the sausages and bacon looked inedible and my husband even spotted mould on the strawberry's.

The bar at the front of the hotel was quite nice and the staff were friendly except for one who was extremely rude to me but really friendly with my husband.

The pool area is small but we never had a problem getting a sunbed. You can also use sunbeds on the beach for free in the hotel area, where they have a little restaurant/bar. The staff there were very friendly.

We caught the train to Palermo, which was super easy. The station was about ten minutes walk from the hotel.

Cefalu is a beautiful town with narrow, cobbled streets so it is definitely worth staying there if you're visiting Sicily.

Dear Katie F, first of all, thank you for being our guest. The list of our rules that you have drawn up are nothing more than reminders of collective common sense. 1. Beach towels are free but to sensitize the guest not to misuse them we ask that they be changed only when really necessary. 2.Many guests disperse the plastic and microchip keys in the sea, on the beach and therefore the deposit is only a way to make them pay more attention. 3.There are those who is confuse between Hotel rooms and Residences by bringing food of all kinds and unfortunately attracting various insects or damaging the rooms themselves. 4. For the perspective of the structure it is not the best to have all the laundry hanging on the balconies. We have the possibility of bringing all the necessary hangers but by default we prepare a standard number in all the rooms. Breakfast is both sweet and savory and often the fresh strawberries always have a bit of fluff on them that can look like mold, but it absolutely isn't. Cefalù is a beautiful town and also very lively in the summer especially on the seafront, a meeting place for concerts, cabaret, and shows. We hope you had a pleasant holiday and to host you again! Kind regards.

Because we live in UK, we couldn’t get the facility for the chosen dates unless we quarantine for 5 days, which is out of 7 days stay.. this restriction was introduced by the arrival country’s government after the cancellation period so in order to cancel the trip we have to pay the penalty. Despite calls and messages to the facility, we received zero tolerance policy on the basis of the cancellation period and that it would be a “loss” for the business! The facility is fully booked for the dates we were supposed to spend the holiday and chances are our room would have been filled up quickly given the high season! The result was we were charged the penalty for cancelling late. This is poor customer service and lack of understanding for decisions of the local government out of our control. I would have understood if the facility was half empty, but the only room left was a suite!! Don’t come talking about a loss for the business!! The fact the facility was not able to waive the cancellation fee when there is a justifiable reason, it’s just pure greediness. Covid has brought up to light the worst in people’s common sense!

We spent three relaxing days in this great hotel! Our room had incredible views - LOVED that most of the walls were windows so it seemed like we had a sea panorama (and there were full blackout curtains for use too so we could sleep in). The bed was really comfortable. Great location, just a 10 min walk to old Cefalu. Thank you to Marco at the concierge who could not have been more helpful in accommodating all our requests!

We stayed here from the 12th July 2023 for 9 nights and we would never ever stay here again. The hotel has more rules than a prison, Its almost like they don't like their Hotel Guests.

The Hotel rooms themselves are very Clean and modern, but staff seem to look after outside visiting guests to the bar and restaurant and rooftop terrace better than they treat their hotel guests.

You are not allowed to drink anything in your room, unless it is purchased from the mini bar or from the bar downstairs, including water, We were told off for bringing a bottle of water into the hotel from outside.

We were also told off like children by a very rude owner for putting our towels over the balcony to dry, I think I know the real reason for this.

Staff around the hotel seem very miserable and unhappy and didn't engage with Hotel guests only with people eating and drinking at the bar and restaurant.

I loved Sicily and especially cefalu, but I will not be staying at this hotel the next time we visit.

Dear Mr.NeillRLLeed, We are very sorry to read your feedback especially because we try to do our best to be hospitable to all our guests whether they are in the hotel or in the adjoining bar, which is also open to the public. We are sorry we failed to meet your expectations. During the days you stayed with us, Sicily was hit by various unpleasant events and we probably weren't able to give you the attention you would have expected. As for the rules you mention, unfortunately we were forced to ask our guests not to bring food into the room as the hot temperature and the breadcrumbs could bring insects into them. Being on one of the main streets of Cefalu, it is not very nice that underwear and beach towels are displayed on the balconies, for this reason we always kindly ask you to avoid them as much as possible. Having said that, we really hope to be able to have you back as our guest to make you change your mind about us. Thanks anyway for the time you dedicated to us. Best regards.

We stayed at the Victoria Palace for one week from 11th May. It was one of the best summer holidays we have had for many years. The Hotel is in a fantastic location right on the seafront and our room had a balcony with a beautiful sea view. The bedroom was clean comfortable with a lovely large bathroom and shower. The food at breakfast was superb A vast array of pastries ,cakes cereal yoghurts, fruit salamis and cheese and hot food if you had enough room for it. However the most important aspect of this hotel is the wonderful staff. i must mention two in particular but all the staff were so friendly and efficient.Alessia on reception was amazingly kind and helpful and Joseph in the breakfast roof top terrace was so helpful, impeccable service. I would reccomend this hotel 100%

This was the first place I checked out after a short walk from the train station, and I didn't look any further. It is right by the sea and a stone's throw from the old town section of Cefalu. It would have been above my pay grade, but in November my single room was about half the price it would be in summer. (That's why I travel in the low seasons) A very good deal with clean rooms, nice beds, hot shower and good wi-fi. (What else do you need?) It includes a generous breakfast (with eggs if requested!) if you are tired of the Italian style croissant and coffee every day. You have access to a great rooftop with views of the sea, the town, and the sunset. There is also a great gourmet grocery store called Deco a block away where you can get snacks and beer to take to the beach. Lastly, the staff were wonderful and helped with many good suggestions for what to see in Cefalu and advise for traveling in Sicily. Thanks Martina!

We had a fabulous stay at the Victoria Palace Cefalu. We had originally booked a room at the sister hotel, Sea Palace, but since that was not available, we were upgraded to a suite at the Victoria. We had zero complaints about the room, the view or the hotel itself. The breakfast was lacking but that could have been because we were there off season. Other than that with the beach across the street and the short 10 min walk into town, we had no problems and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Very close to the beach, but also just a few minutes' walk from the center and many restaurants and with parking, the VP offers a very good starting point for a few nice days in Cefalu.

Our suite, which we booked 6 months in advance, offered us the expected luxury for 4 nights, especially with the fully glazed living area of around 60 square meters in front of the bedroom, which gave you the feeling of being close to the sea, but also brought peace and quiet when it was too loud outside.

Everything is very high quality and tastefully furnished, but unfortunately sometimes according to the motto "design comes before function". That's the only way I can explain the bathroom, which is far too playful for sober Teutons. 2 large tower-like sinks - but no space to put anything down, because the small glass side table on both floors is covered with samples from the hotel spa and all sorts of useless things. Make-up? A challenge according to my wife, as there is little space, bad light and no magnifying mirrors. The shower was also impractical in its layout and why you get such thin toilet paper for €360 a night is a mystery to me.

There is also very limited space for your clothes - enough for a weekend trip, but less so for a longer stay.

But an excellent bed and the large, luxurious living area made up for a lot and the staff were without exception very friendly and always helpful - just as it should be!

The breakfast at the top (on the terrace or in the glassed-in interior) offered a good selection and included both Sicilian specialties (some from the hotel's own patisserie) and the breakfast options that are common in Central Europe.
