Located in a typical context, among vineyards and rolling hills. I appreciated everything about the location, the strategic position for visiting the nearby villages, fantastic for excursions by bike or on foot.
The room was very nice and tidy. Free Wifi. Heating/air conditioning. Fridge bar. There was no TV in our room but we didn't miss it. There is the possibility of requesting rooms with a small kitchenette. Breakfast in a deconsecrated church. Or, weather permitting, in the garden enjoying a view of the vineyards.

Our first visit to Italy was fabulous. Alla Cascina Baresane is a wonderful place to meet people from all over the world. This Bed and Breakfast is charming and whimsical. Each room is tastefully decorated with class and simple elegance. The view is magnificent overlooking vineyards and landscapes. The breakfast is presented in the Chapel which was once a church re-done to make a quaint breakfst nook. The grounds are surrounded by fruit trees which you are welcome to walk, smell and pick the fruit to eat. The hostess, Amabile made us feel at home and catered to our evry need. We are planning to return in the near future with our family. I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who would like to experience true Italian hospitality.

A good solution for visiting Alba and the heart of the Langhe. The B&B is located among splendid vineyards and hazelnut groves and waking up or having breakfast in the midst of nature is priceless. It can certainly only improve given the commitment of the kind Mrs. Amabile.

My wife and I were visiting Barolo on our Honeymoon. Before arriving here, we went to Cinque Terre and Modena. This was, by far, the most comfortable hotel. It's in an absolutely beautiful location in the middle of vineyards about 10 min drive to Alba, where there are some really great restaurants.
On our second day here, my rental car almost caught fire. I went to start it in the hotel parking lot and I thought it was going to burn to the ground. Thankfully, it did not. The owner's Daughter, Vivian, helped me by talking with the rental company and the tow truck driver. The next day, her mother drove me about 20 min away to the rental company to pick up another car. I could not be more grateful as all the taxis were busy and we had appointments at several wineries.
All in all, this was amazing. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful little hideaway. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a special place to stay in the Piedmont winery areas and we certainly found it in this lovely B&B which is also a family farm and home. The rooms all have spectacular views across the vineyards and the rooms are big, light and well furnished. The bed is comfortable and there is a small bar fridge in the room. The rooms have fly screen on the doors leading to the balcony which means that you can open up and enjoy the view
The breakfast was very good and included both savoury and sweet food.
The owner, Amabile and her daughter are delightful and we spent some time chatting to them which was lovely. They were kind enough to come and show us how to reach the B&B as the road has been washed out and we were unable to enter using the normal road. They also provided lots of information on the area
If you are looking for a special place to stay (or a romantic getaway) I would highly recommend this stunning place.

This is a lovely place to stay if you have a car. We came in much later than expected, and the owners were very accommodating. We stayed in a room in the annex building which was was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was in a beautiful chapel on the property. Wide choice of food and great coffee. Good base to explore the Piedmont wine region. Not an easy place to find late at night when it is dark- see explanation on blog www.catandbaby.wordpress.com

Okay, a little outside Alba, and that makes Cascina Baresane even better. We had never been there. Recommended by a place in San Casciano. What a treat. Comfortable modern rooms in a traditional Italian setting. We learned that few Americans come here. Being an American, can't understand why. Maybe because it isn't touristy enough?! I found it totally charming, and a nice relief from the more "touristy" parts of Italy. The property is clean and well maintained. Yes, free Wi-Fi. The views are wonderful. From our little balcony we could look up the hills to Diano D' Alba and the beautiful church tower. In other directions, villages, grape vines... Gorgeous. The very reasonable price includes one of the best breakfast buffet's we encountered during our Italy trip. To top it off, Cascina Baresane reserved dinner at different restaurants both nights, and... Drove us their and picked us up! We could enjoy our wine and not worry about finding our way back home. Our entire Italy trip was wonderful, but must say, Casciano Baresane was an unexpected jewel.

I have been to this B&B 3 times already and have always been very happy. It is about 4 km from the centre of Alba and it offers a wonderful view on the Langhe. Rooms are nice and spacious (no TV, but who cares) and a generous breakfast, more tuned on the continental side but still offering cheese and cured meat.
Staff is very nice and helpful - WiFi is available in the rooms free of charge. Excellent value on top of it all
