A very convenient, good value modern hotel in an excellent location near transport, restaurants and the old town and Valley of Temples. Nice clean room, good wifi and a PC in the lobby too. It is set back from a tree lined avenue that has some nice restaurants and an excellent gelato place on the square. The only problems are the noise at night from the bar next door that attracts every teenager in Agrigento until 2 in the morning, who stand outside and talk and play with their motor scooters. The other problem was on checkout the staff member did a typo on our credit card payment and overcharged us 70 euros which we are still trying to recover despite them admitting fault. The breakfast was a bit boring but adequate. The staff were nice and tolerated my excitement watching the NRL grand final in the lobby. Just wish they would respond about the overpayment!

Pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and care received at the hotel.
The room and the breakfast basic, but satisfactory.
Thanks especially to Giorgia, greetings to the whole staff.
Please, do something about the night noise comming from the adjacent night club.

Although located on the two initial levels in the building the Hotel del Viale is solid with a large well-equipped rooms and a delicious breakfast. The reception lady is our compatriot from ex Yugoslavia. She helped us for a lot about the necessary information what to visit and what to see in Agrigento and how to get to the Valley of the Temples. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for short tourist and business visits to Agrigento.

I highly recommend it, it's in the central area. The friendliness of the staff stands out above all.
Thanks to the owner Mr Francesco for his availability, kindness and courtesy. Francesco put up with and supported us in the transfers to discover Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone, Sciacca Selinunte and obviously Agrigento and its metavillages

The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is very near the railway station and easy to find. No problem walking with our bags to the hotel (backpacks). There are bars, cafes and restaurants very near by and the main shopping and town centre is just a short walk away. Easy to do during the day or night and area is comfortable at night. Breakfast was basic. The room was very comfortable, pleasant and clean, but had no view or balcony, however this did not bother us. Wifi worked well enough. We left out bags in the hotel for the afternoon after we checked out and the staff were very accommodating. We sat and used the internet in the lobby during the afternoon while waiting for a train and we were made to feel very welcome to do so. Would have no difficulty in recommending this hotel, very good value and very comfortable for the price. If I was planning a short stay would come back, for a longer trip or more of a leisure stay I would like a hotel with a view.

I booked this for a group of 5 of us.

The sleeping facilities were fine. Comfortable bed, clean cotton linens. We slept well.
Breakfast, which was included was also fine, with choice of cereals, fruit, cheese and ham, egg, croissants (all sugar coated, when I prefer mine plain) and buns.
When we asked for a hairdryer, they brought what was required.
The location was also very good. Although it is an upward walk (40 minutes)from the museum and Valley of the Temples, most hotels are at the top of the hill, where all the restaurants are. It is also possible to get a taxi or a bus from the bottom to the top.
Parking was on the street, but we found availability.

However, I was totally put off by the bathroom (see pictures) and the black mould. It felt yukky. They should really put new mastic on.
As we didn't think it was a quick fix, we did not communicate our dissatisfaction. The single room had a new shower and, although small, it did not have black mould.

Situated in the hearth of the city in the most elegant Viale della Vittoria, this hotel is the best image of the archeological city of Agrigento. The physical structure is old but is maintained clean and efficient. The affordable economical price makes up for the lack of modern structure. The personnel is very knowledgeable and professional added to the absolute cleanness makes this Hotel the place to go when you are in Agrigento.

We stayed here for two nights and booked it last minute for a low price, the lowest so far during our 3 weeks+ trip through Italy. The hotel is a bit outdated and could use a once over, but what we got, considering the price, was the best place to stay, so far. We had a more than good breakfast (a real exception in Italy)
Staff was good at English and very helpful, all cards accepted.
If you want to internet, wait until 03:00 at night, because most hotels do not provide broadband internet and this hotel was no exception. Or go get yourself a prepaid SIM card and "hot spot" your device.

It was very hard to find this hotel it is in an alley behind the city play ground. Staff was very friendly, though no one speaks English. Several good restaurant are within walking distance, so is shopping. The rooms are small and so are the bathrooms. Breakfast was ok, they had your typical fare. Overall the stay was ok, more the area than the hotel.

This hotel is good for staying during 2-3 nights. The location is good for visiting the Valley of the temples. All rooms are spacious and provided with king-size bed. Breakfast is continental, but quite sufficient and staff is friendly and informative!
