The AbanoRitz Thermae and Wellness hotel is a charming hotel in Abano Terme, at the foot of the Euganean Hills, just 10km from Padua and 40km from Venice. I really enjoyed my week long stay in this hotel. It has a beautiful old world charm, in a stunning location with excellent health treatments and kind, friendly staff. Family run, with attention to detail and 2 amazing thermal pools. The environment is calm and relaxed. The garden is shaded and peaceful with mature trees and hammocks. I would particularly thank Frederica, who individualized our stay, had excellent English and could not have done more. Particular compliments also to the lovely Constantino for his reflexology and excellent health advice, as a qualified doctor in natural medicine. Lovely, healthy food. Bedrooms spotless. The thing we liked most was the atmosphere of welcome and kindness that reigns, both when it comes to the staff and the guests (all very polite, regardless of age). The hotel was spotless! Every corner, from the lobby to the rooms, was impeccably clean. The bathroom was sparkling clean with fresh towels and toiletries replenished each day. The room was spacious and cozy, with modern furnishings that made it feel like home The temperature control in the room worked perfectly, ensuring I was always comfortable regardless of the weather outside. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our servers Mihaela and Natalia were friendly, knowledgeable, and always had a smile. They made excellent recommendations and ensured our dining experience was perfect. I must say that we had a very good time at the Ritz especially thanks to the staff... especially the one in the restaurant who is always smiling and kind. Naturally, I can only confirm the necessary restyling for the bathroom of the room, blind and without a button for the aerator. The saunas are small, in fact a maximum of two people can stay in them at a time but without a maximum time, unfortunately I waited for a lady to come out for a good 20 minutes, I think there is something to review. I only gave 3 stars precisely because of the room and the management of the saunas. Otherwise no one would take away 5 stars from it. I recommend half board to everyone because you eat very well.

Ritz in prices, otherwise it's a former Ritz. At least 2 times a year I go to Abano with my family for a weekend and I have always had a good time. What I want to underline and I hope to be of help to some families is that here we have prices at the level (indeed slightly higher) of a perfectly renovated hotel. Mainly I point out the internal swimming pool which does not communicate with the external one, and without any type of hydromassage, furthermore it is very high and children cannot touch anywhere. The water temperature is not as hot as in other facilities, I don't know if it is due to the depth or something else. The indoor swimming pool is not flush, it is from the 70s. The sunbeds surrounding it are not enough for everyone and the environment is not warm. In the outdoor pool there are 2 massage beds, 2 other standing positions (one of which is not working) and 2 cervical waterfalls, STOP. Sauna for 2, tiny Turkish bath and forbidden to minors. The large rooms completely covered with carpet. Don't look at the mattresses. Pay attention to the balcony which is not present in all the rooms. Cleanliness is not the hotel's strong point, especially in the pool area. The dishes are very standard, nothing fancy or particular dishes, I can't say I ate well, the choice of food is based on savings, for those who appreciate the porcelain and silverware will be beautiful but everything is old style. The breakfast reflects everything with frozen croissants, no homemade desserts, vacuum-packed cold cuts, no pancakes or new things. They probably have their own clientele who prefers to keep everything as it once was. I paid a lot compared to other 4 star or 3 star facilities full of comfort, Kneip paths, barrels, salt rooms, water games, gourmet dinners etc, but it's worth trying. Last but not least, I paid, 2 days and one night for 4..., and we were almost chased for not having paid for a coffee at the counter... 1.6 euros in cash and without a receipt. I didn't even mention it, I don't think it's worth it. I really don't understand how it is possible that a hotel like this can have 5 stars, it is an insult to the commitment of others. I will never set foot again unless I see a bulldozer inside which I think is the only solution

My weekend at the Ritz in Abano Terme ends today. Overall it was a nice stay. A place that exudes elegance: high-quality staff, beautiful furnishings and textiles, a varied and quality breakfast, sweet and savory, finely set up with porcelain and silver. In short, the attention to detail that only 5 star hotels can offer. My single room was about twenty square meters large with a separate lounge and terrace with table and chairs. Bathrobe and slippers in the room from which you can access the spa directly. Double pillow and valet stand. If desired, breakfast service in the room is available free of charge. The hotel offers 5pm tea, a recreation room with board games and piano or other entertainment in the evening. However, there are details to improve, especially in cleanliness and in the spa area. The sauna and Turkish bath are very small, and the sunbeds are insufficient, in fact many went down during opening hours to avoid the risk of not finding any. A pleasant week of mud and various treatments spent at the Abano Ritz. This time, compared to last November, I found myself even more at ease because now I know the environment, the people, the structure, the habits. At the Abano Ritz time passes peacefully, nothing is out of place, the relationship with all the operators is always excellent. The cuisine, with a top-notch vegetable buffet, satisfies all needs. entering the lobby of this hotel is not like entering any other lobby: walking you have the feeling of going back in time. it's all a succession of period objects (statues, ornaments, furniture, etc.), all beautiful, which generate a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff are also extremely welcoming. the restaurant offers traditional Italian cuisine, good and plentiful. the room is quite large. certainly the bathroom is not very new, but clean, and what a surprise to discover that the blue and red taps regulate the water much better than many modern mixers! only flaw (in my opinion quite important): the maid who comes into the room to clean when I'm in the room. this is something that absolutely must not happen. We have been lucky enough to have been frequenting Abano Terme for several years and we have tried several facilities in the area. In recent years we have always turned to the Metropole hotel which we consider to be of an excellent standard in all respects. This time we couldn't find a place because we decided at the last moment to give ourselves a little relaxation. We chose the Ritz following our tastes and reviews on the web. Truly a very pleasant 360 degree surprise!!! From the reservation with Mrs. Lorenza, through the excellent catering masterfully governed by Maitre Massimo to the careful and careful cleaning of the rooms and common areas.
