We like to find small and charming homes where we can find tranquility together with a certain class and if possible also exclusivity. Well all this can be found in this delightful and charming property elegantly managed by the owners Isabelle and JeanLuc.
The site is very precise, but the impact you have as soon as you get out of the car is much more enveloping and you immediately congratulate yourself on the choice you made.
The structure is what one might dream of when thinking of a life of country gentlemen and the owners are the perfect embodiment of these figures: discreet, but ready to open up if they perceive that the guest feels perfectly at ease.
Our room was simply a jewel furnished with furniture and accessories of a certain class that allow you to live a dream within a dream. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful bucolic oasis of peace and tranquility just 8 km from Bordeaux and close to both the most famous wine-growing areas in France (St. Emilion, Sauternes...) and ocean resorts such as Arcachon and Lacanau. The garden is well-kept and welcoming, with swimming pool and sun loungers for pure relaxation. Chambres d'hôtes and common areas (kitchen and lounge) furnished with care and touches of class. Breakfast varied and plentiful. Isabelle and Jean Luc lovely, kind and helpful. It was a wonderful holiday!

While passing through the Médoc last April, we stayed two nights at Domaine de Ginouilhac.
The months pass but we can hardly forget the wonderful welcome Isabelle and Jean-Luc gave us. An exceptional estate run by attentive hosts; delicious breakfast in the magnificent veranda, spacious room and quality bedding, garden maintained to perfection by the owner of the house and lots of wise advice to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
A weekend at the Ginouilhac estate is a guaranteed disconnection, you can relax by the swimming pool (we have also inaugurated swimming for this season), play billiards or darts, drink a good Bordeaux wine around a meal in the spacious dining room of the winery... but also outside with the possibility of quickly being in Bordeaux but also of discovering the region and its castles in more detail.
Once again a big thank you to Isabelle and Jean-Luc, we were very touched by your welcome and we will be back very soon, with the car this time for more flexibility!

Thanks to Isabelle & Jean-Luc. Room and services were very good. Only flat.... the noise in the evening. Indeed, the rooms overlook two houses of which one more than noisy.... (music, screams and insults).... Therefore, I am disappointed that such an estate is close to such noisy dwellings....

Isabelle and Jean-Luc are the wonderful hosts at this delightful property on the outskirts of Bordeaux. The buildings are in the local honey coloured limestone with the guest accommodation set on one side of the beautifully landscaped courtyard garden.
We had the 1st floor suite. It’s spacious and very comfortable with a far Eastern influence in the elegant decorations and furnishings.
Breakfasts - taken in the main house across the courtyard - are good and provide a chance to chat with Isabelle and your fellow guests.
Whilst there Isabelle was very helpful and kindly arranged a visit to Chateau Prieuré-Lichene on our last morning.
You will probably need a car whilst you’re here; Jean-Luc dropped us off at the bus stop in nearby Blanqeufort for a trip into the centre of Bordeaux (about 25 mins by bus or car) for a Sunday dinner when we didn’t want to drive.
The Domaine is a great base for discovering Bordeaux and the Médoc.
Thank you Isabelle and Jean-Luc!

Had 3 nights here for a family wedding with several members attending. Our hosts were charming and welcoming, made the BBQ available, helpful with advice about shopping and dining. Wonderful garden, comfortable rooms and very convenient location. Definitely hope to return as it is worth the price.

We booked a stay at Domaine de Ginouilhac based on the reviews - and they don't lie! Its a beautifully restored home, with a gorgeous garden and pool. Taillan is situated within striking distance of the great Chateaux of Medoc - and some of the world's best wines. Even better than the reno and wines are the hosts! We could not have been luckier to have met such kind, helpful and interesting ( I've learned a lot about the rum making business!) people. Stay with at Ginouilhac - its a great choice

It was our last day of Bordeaux trip, so we were very tired. This place which is in the middle of green and restful garden is ideal for relaxing. Isabelle was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great. Merci beaucoup.
