A great, welcoming, classic pub serving excellent food. If you are in Brightlingsea you really need to give this place a try. Great staff, comfortable enough seating and really generous servings of very high quality pub grub.

Good typical British pub food. I had suet pudding, mash and veg. Plenty of it and enjoyed it. Good choice of beer. Pleasant village lots of little shops, narrow streets and haphazard parking. Have to go and lie down now and sleep it off.
