We stayed at Moulin, nice apartment with fireplace. Enough wood to use. The views here are so nice and the village is so small that you feel a villager among the villagers. The host is friendly and the restaurant excellent.

The tiny village in which La Luna Nel Pozzo is situated is enchanting, quaint and with a lot of history. It is a hidden gem of a location, quiet with magnificent views of the surrounding hillside and valley below. There is a splendid, refreshing swimming pool about 200 metres from the main accomodation which is restricted to guests of La Luna. There is a restaurant (in which guests receive a 10% discount) located at the main building which is excellent (florentine steaks / freshly made pasta and other local specialities being available). The restaurant is open to the public and is well supported by local Italians, but is not overrun to the point that attention to guests is affected. La Luna comes recommended by Fattoria La Vialla a highly respected local enterprise. Wifi reception is good. Parking is safe and convenient some 30 metres from the main building. The owners Elisa and her husband are a forward thinking and enterprising young couple who work hard to ensure that your visit is the best it can be. The welcome pack in each room was a nice touch together with maps of possible areas to visit. Also the kitchen in the apartment was quaint. Special mention must also go to their hard working waiter "Nico" and chef.

We arrived very late because of the Car Rental from Pisa took very long. Luckily we could arrive at around 23hrs ... It was really de-stressing to enter Il Mulino: there was a baby bed and a baby chair like we agreed on. It was so nice to see that. That took away a lot of stress because you never know what you can expect. It was really sweet how it was taken care of. The manager Elisa was very kind from the start to the end. As well as the Restaurant manager Niccolo and the chef de cuisine. They all came with good advice of festivals, restaurants, shops and my husband even made a mountainbike tour together with the Restaurant Manager. Elisa helped us also with the printing of our flight tickets home. Overall: very good service and English is not a problem, which was very relaxed The house standing on its own Il Mulino we stayed in for two and a half week, offers a lot of privacy and rest. Parking space in front of the house. Surrounded by birds and other nature. There is WiFi in the whole cottage. You do not need any airconditioning, because the house is really normal to cold in the night. Even when outside it is warm inside it is not. It is a very romantic house up in Gello Biscardo. The kitchen is not big but it had everything you need. Also the upstairs floor is nice to have. The house is not like other Italian apartments or hotels we experienced. Il Mulino is well taken care of and the cleaning was good. After one week the bed linnen and towels got changed like we agreed on. Supermarkets ( 20 minutes away the Ipercoop or in Montevarchi 35 minutes away also a very good supercoop) are in the vally small supermarkets or little bars you have within 15 minutes. You are in the center of beautiful nature, mountains, brooks, wine and olive fields everywhere. Never many cars. In the middle of the Strada del Vino, closeby all the superwanted (agriturismo)hot-spots like the beautiful city Arezzo, Siena, Montalcino, Multepolciano, Borro, restaurants like Acquolina, Oca Satolla, Agania and of course La Luna nel Pozzo are our favorites with high quality service, food and a good atmosphere where we would like to come back to. Ristorante La Luna nel Pozzo is part of the village and only ten foot steps away from Il Mulino. It is a charming restaurant and they are very flexible ( I mean with the menu card and the baby chair and vegetarian) The pool is amazing. And also for the appartment guests for free. What a view and also here it is again a spot well taken care of. We will remember this beautiful place and the very kind people we have met during our stay.
