Our family of 4 loved this place! Loved the fun colors, love the modern building and everything about this hostel. Our 4 beds room with our own private bath, making our own beds with linens provided, breakfast and a very nice communal area with pool table, guitar, piano and a bar. Loved the families with young children enjoying themselves, happy and friendly. Loved the surrounding horse farms watching riders all day long. Comfortable sleep, clean, fun. We can’t wait to visit their other sites.

This was a fantastic choice!
Very cheap considering the stay in high season for the zone...
The hostel seems to me that was before a school, it has green areas, where you can lay in the grass, eat, play cards, talk, use the laptop bla bla...
In the lounge area there's a pool table, every game is €1... so u have very cheap entretainment.
Also in the lounge area there's a bar and they have kitchen with snacks or junk food for a nice price.
The breakfast is fantastic and with variety, fruit, ham, cheese, jam,butter, millk, juices cereal, muesli, boiled eggs, cakes, different kinds of bread,hot drinks...
They even have a piano in another room...
Very clean place and with very good beds, very discret place.
We slept wonderfully, and our friends also.
We slept in different wings of the hostel and in a different floor, but in both rooms was quiet and without noise.
In spite of hte price, the tourist in the hostel were very nice people and all very polite...
The neighbors give horsing lessons, so if u like it...go for it!
The rooms are small, but that's not a problem if u want the room just for slepping and take a shower.
That zone in Noord Holland is very pretty!!! that was my first time in that zone and i want to return very soon!!!

Excellent location, very good common rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food.
A few minor alterations to the building would make great improvements: Windowns in rooms cannot be opened properly so that there is a lingering smell, fly screens would also be helpful - if you have the chance and the money, please replace the windows. Brighter bedsitde lamps (you cannot read in bed) would also be good. Otherwise: Excellent, will definitely come again.

We stayed one night here with our two kids:12 & 9. I knew Stay Okay from my kids' school trips and knew the standard was good. Stay Okay in Egmond surpassed my expectations! Great welcome by Catherine at Reception. Whilst all the staff are efficient and friendly, Catherine stands out - what an asset! The whole place is bright and airy, modern and hip. Nice bar and restaurant area and games, books to borrow. We got our linen (everything else we brought with us: toiletries, towels, etc). We made up our beds and we were ready to go! Bike hire was great value and we were able to cycle to the beach within 15 minutes. With all the fresh air, we just had a night cap at the bar (great selection of drinks and excellent tap beer) and slept blissfully! Beds are comfortable and we did not experience any noise. We enjoyed a great breakfast: healthy, good variety and plentiful, before checking out. We will definitely be back!

This hostel opened just days before my visit. It is housed in a former school. The room was very clean, with 2 bunk beds, and separate shower and toilet. A full breakfast is available, consisting of meats, cheeses, eggs, breads, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. Very generous.
The common areas were spacious, with a pool table as well, and a bar area where drinks/snacks could be purchased. Internet is available and included in the price.
The outdoors had plenty of greenspace, and bikes were available for hire.
The rural area the hostel is in is very quiet, with lovely fields of flowers all around. It is also within 2 kms of the North Sea.

We stayed for a week at the hotel with the family (3 kids) in one of the family rooms and we loved it. Our room had two bunkbeds and a double bed....probably that last one was intended for the parents, but our little boys decided they wanted to use that one (which you can reach with a small stairway)...which made them feel like they had their own "room"
Nice environment, very friendly and helpful staff. Some instruments in the lobby (piano and guitar) as well as some family games....This helps create a lively atmosphere, as most of the time you will find some people there. Hotel is conveniently located, not in the middle of Egmond, but close enough to the beach especially by bike, with a specific biking path without heavy traffic.

I stayed there for four nights when visiting a conference. The staff is very helpful, and I can recommend this hostel to anyone.
The rooms are okay but to place a wardrobe with hangers would be ideal and to have an ironing board and iron which people can ask for by the reception.
I really had a great time there :)

We visited with a school group for 3 nights and it was the perfect setting for us . Clean rooms , decent shower and washing facilities. Breakfast was great and the seating and entertainment in the lobby area was ideal for a group of students . This is 40 mins out from centre of Amsterdam but you can bike 20 mins to the train station . Really friendly staff . Definitely worth another visit .
