We arrived around dusk (5ish). The view was stunning. The Hotel is in a great location overlooking Lake Hawea. The room (#10) was pretty basic but was warm and had a lovely view. The food was awesome and the staff were great - very friendly. Only concern was that it was a bit noisy at night. We were not sure what was going on but a child, or children were running around the next door unit and it made a racket on the floorboards. That’s not the hotel’s fault though.
Back after a bad experience, the word was new owner's and Hotel humming again. affordable with good food, drink and service. first time visitors with us loved the view and the whole package. thank you Lake Hawea Hotel.

When another girl asks you if you've had a good night and you reply that all is good apart from the wifi which you needed to plan out your next day's agenda, is it good customer service or even polite to say "you'll just have to put it down to one of life's experiences"? The only member of staff…
