The Gower Hotel sits just back from Saundersfoot vibrant centre - the ideal spot to escape for a touch of peace and quiet, yet close enough to step right into the life of the resort.Comfort and Quality are the key notes of the decor, a theme which extends to each of our 20 en-suite rooms, some of which have balconies and some of which enjoy views across the bay. We have a choice of twin, double and family rooms, all equipped with tea and coffee facilities, colour TV, telephone. A secure, off-street car park is behind the hotel. We're a hands-on business, so the staff at the Gower share the enthusiasm for understanding the value of a first class standard of service, and we're always ready to be flexible in our arrangements for group visits, small conferences or business meetings. All are welcome!

Decided to have an overnight stay as the weather was so good. We had stayed at the Gower Hotel before as it is so convenient to the town and as we are none too clever on our feet found it ideal. The Staff are really friendly and accommodating and the room we had, although

Husband and I escaped here for a night from the twins! Booked last minute on booking.com and we arrived same day (However, a drunk lady from Aberdare told us at the bar that if we'd rung direct, they would have halved the price #toptip) Clean hotel, easy to find, plenty to eat

Hotel was basic, room was tiny. Wall paper coming off ceiling. As well as room for about 12 cars in car park so not enough parking which made us result in pay and display throughout our stay. Payment system is AWFUL! Took the money out before we got there which was fine, but

Hello Thank you for you review. I am so sorry you were so unhappy with everything to do with your stay. We have 16 spaces at the rear car park and 4 in the front. This should be enough as we have 20 rooms, the pay car is free at this time of year so I’m not sure there. I so sorry but I haven’t been aware of any ceiling problems so I will check every room as that is not acceptable. I am assuming you booked with booking.com and it is their system that holds a pending payment, let me know if this is wrong. I will however speak to the cleaners , you should never be disturbed by any music they play whilst working. Please accept my apologies as I was not made aware of any of this. Thank you for staying and once again accept my apologies

Are you able to cater for coeliacs (a gluten free diet)?
In the U.K. all caterers by law must advise of ingredients. Disability Discrimination Act requires all businesses and services to make ‘reasonable adjustments’. I’d suggest you email or call them to make arrangements for your individual needs. Have a fab time in Saundersfoot x

Is it suitable for less mobile guests & wheel chairs
Hello We have disabled parking and a lift to all floors. We have guests stay at the hotel in wheelchairs and the electric speed machines ! We would rather you ring to reserve a room so we can discuss your needs fully and put you in the most suitable of rooms. Our number is 01834 813452. I normally recommend room 21 which has a lot of room for wheelchairs to move in , however , it has a corner bath with a shower over it, which may not be suitable for you to actually get into. We are very happy to try and accommodate you. Karen Owner
