Good day for everyone! I want to recommend this hotel to everyone. Rooms are very comfortable in the high level. Food is very tasty and fresh. You can find everything what you are looking for. Personel are very friendly and professional, especially I want to write about Ecaterina. She is a good worker, very friendly, very kind, hard-working, responsible and attentive.

Stayed at this hotel the night before our flight to Miami. We chose this hotel based on the location, price, car parking facilities and great reviews and it did not disappoint. Check in was smooth and efficient with a very helpful staff member. Car parking on site was great and we felt confident in leaving our car there for the next two weeks, this was paid for on booking and is really good value for money. The room was just perfect and had everything you need, the whole layout and decor has been designed very well. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was delicious, especially the signature dish Lasagne which was the best I've ever tasted. Drinks are a bit pricey but that's to be expected so we walked to a small supermarket down the road and picked up what we wanted a nightcap. It's so easy to get to Terminal 3,4 and 5from the airport. the free bus goes from the road directly outside the hotel, the hopper bus picks up at the hotel door however is £11 per person return and you can also get a taxi booked via reception for £12 which we did. I would definitely recommend this hotel when looking for a first class hotel with good car parking facilities and airport links and will use again. Highly recommend.

Dear Sandra G, Thank you for the positive review following your recent stay with us. So glad you loved the hotel and all the facilities we offer our guests. It was particulary positive to read you loved the restaurant as this is an intergral part of the business and is often overlooked by our guests. We will no doubt welcome you back again soon. This hotel is only a few years old so still presents as a modern and clean hotel. As a Platinum IHG member a complementary upgrade was available, the room was well specified clean and fully functional, being new there are plenty of USB charging points.

Breakfast area is in the central Atrium and offers an open air feel, breakfast has a good variety of cooked and continental styles.

Staff were friendly and accommodating although the breakfast manager was a little invasive.

So charges are where this hotel begins to gain expense, Parking, Breakfast cost if you don’t have an offer. Drinks charges are the usual double price but key watch out for in the discretionary bar service charges added to the bill.

The service charges were not identified by staff when charging the credit card at check out and only apparent when seeing the invoice. Advice here is request the invoice BEFoRE paying, IHG hotels seem to have taken the tactic of not showing your bill before charging, in our case we went to the bar and did not use waitress service.

IHG have been incrementally removing benefits or adding charges, we are now reviewing our hotel usage policy.

My husband and I stayed here last weekend the night before our flight out the following morning. Hotel is fairly new, and first impressions of the lobby were favourable. Check-in went smoothly, as my husband is an IHG Gold member, we were given two free vouchers for drinks at the hotel bar which was a nice touch. However, when I mentioned that I had prepaid for breakfast when booking our room on the IHG app, I was informed that breakfast started at 7am. I informed the girl that we would have to leave for the terminal at 6am as our flight was at 9:20, so would it be possible to just get a refund for what we’d paid. She said that we could get a “box breakfast” which would be at reception from 5:30 onwards. The following morning when we went to check out, we were given ONE box which I’m assuming we were meant to split. I told they man on the reception desk that I had paid for two breakfasts so would like two boxes at which point he balked and told me they were only authorised for one but eventually relented and gave me a second. After opening the box, I wish he hadn’t bothered. Hardly worth the £15 quid extra we’d paid for what we thought would be a nice, hot full english before we set off on our journey. I couldn’t even get a coffee! Needless to say, both boxes went in the rubbish uneaten and we went to airport hungry.

Dear Southernlass, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. It was great to read you enjoyed your overall expereince only to have this tarnished on departure. What a shame.... As you would appreciate the hotel offers all types of inclusions with its rates and information on breakfast timings are available at the time of booking. Whilst we do offer boxed breakfasts for early departures, it does not obviously compare to sitting down in our amazing atrium and munching down on a full english. With regards to the manner in which the member of staff spoke to you on departure, correctinve training will take place with the staff member concerned. Kind Regards Scott Jakins Operations Manager

We turned up at 7pm and the family room we booked didn’t even have my daughters bed made up.
The phone was broken so we had to come down to request the bed.
We also had to order room service without a phone and it came missing half the items.
We had to go all the way back downstairs again to request our order (that they had taken the money for already) was delivered.
We left at 3am with wet hair in the freezing cold as the hairdryer was broken.
Epic fail!
I will never ever use Holiday Inn again and I am a member.
We used a hotel for sleep food and shower and on every turn it was a disaster.
The last straw was when we complained upon departure the receptionist said it wasn’t his fault nor his responsibility.
There are other hotels in this vicinity that would look after their guest much much better so try them first before booking here!
If I could give a Zero rating I would.

Nobody expects much from airport hotel in terms of luxury and frills but the basics should be there for a pre-flight overnight stay and it's in these areas that the Holiday Inn Bath Road falls short.

Long queue at check-in with just 1 desk staffed so quite a wait to get to the room. As we were leaving early I enquired about a taxi and was quoted "at least £30 and maybe more". This is for a five minute journey. As no alternative was suggested I reluctantly booked it. I later discovered that there is a bus stop literally right outside the hotel which makes the same journey for less than a tenth of the price so I went to the desk to cancel and point out that I would be taking the bus. Very begrudgingly and quite rudely this was actioned. I took the opportunity to request tea and milk as none had been left in the room and was told that they didn't have any available but they could give me some sugar! We weren't sorry to leave the following morning especially as nobody was available to check us out.

We won't be back.

This was a pleasant stay but some of the details were slightly off. It's a new-ish hotel which is nice. Still has the 'new' smell. The rooms are pretty small, but well designed and it's an airport hotel so manage expectations accordingly.

We used a normal TfL bus to get there which was free, you don't need to use the paid bus. The check-in staff were friendly and engaging, the beds are comfy although on the small side. There are some small details that detract. Firstly, there's a coffee machine, but no way to use it as the cups are too large to fit under it. Some of the plug sockets in the room weren't working, a couple of the lights were also not functioning. It was fine for one night, but for any longer stay, I would pick somewhere with a larger room.

Dear BjamF, Thanks for taking the time to review your recent stay. We were pleased to see you found the hotel easy to access and that the design of the room was to your liking. We recieve plenty of positive feedback on our rooms as they are the newest generation design for Holiday in and we are one of only a couple of hotels to have this design world wide, Regarding the appliances in the rooms, this has left us a little baffled as the mugs do fit under the coffee machines in the rooms and having cecked your room have found the sockets and to be in working order, if the power key is installed in the wall on the entrance to the room. Thank you once again for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Scott Jakins Operations Manager

This is a newish hotel near the terminals, roaring jets directly over - but it’s been so well planned, the window glazing gap so huge, you cannot hear a thing from the air traffic, nor indeed the car traffic from the busy road. Lovely comfortable room, great bathroom. We opted for dinner bed and breakfast, great choice. The dinner was amazing, huge portions, super service. Breakfast also excellent, an abundance of choice. Service from all staff was perfect. Highly, highly recommended.

We have stayed here many times since it opened and has always provided an excellent, clean, modern, good value hotel option, with free travel to T5 via the fee 423.

As always the room was fresh and clean.

The breakfast service was horrendous, complete chaos with no structure to the service. We waited almost 40mins for a basic hot breakfast to be brought to us after ordering, when you are under time pressure to catch a flight this is unacceptable.

We raised this on check out and were promised this would be raise with management and complimentary points credited to our account. This did not happen and took two chasers before they actually responded - surprisingly poor service.

My late flight home was canceled and I would up staying here. The hotel itself was better than what I expected from a Holiday Inn, intersting busy bar and restaurant scene on the ground floor. Saw some airline crews coming and going, must be good. Prices seemed high but not that high, not surprising as it is both a Hotel and near the airport.

If you are bumped off a flight don't expect a free restaurant meal, rather you get a buffet meal. Possibly the same for breakfast, though my flight left long before breakfast started. This certainly has more to do with the airline than the hotel.

In short, I stayed at the Holiday Inn down the road which looked not unlike a flying saucer, this one is much better.

The posted price of £250-£300 at the lobby seems excessive, especially compared to the internet price of around £80.

I believe they offer a limited number of park and stay. They have a reasonable size car park but share it with car rental companies so book early to give yourself the best chance.
