Bedding smelt stale, no tea and coffee in the room. Room not cleaned during our 2 night stay. Having stayed in many Premier Inns this is by far the worst we’ve ever experienced. The hotel staff didn’t make us feel welcome at all.

Lack of room options, just standard double. The newer/refurbished rooms have a vent running along the ceiling above the bath, which restricts headheight. Very inconvenient for a tall person. Why even have a bath anyway. Why is the extractor fan in the hallway and not the bathroom, baffling. Every staff member and person I've spoken to says noone every uses the bath. Get a proper walk in shower. The AC/Heating in my room didn't work properly and was extremely loud. Had to complain for days before anything was done. Good amount of plug sockets though and everything was modern and clean. Super super friendly and helpful. Not allowed to use launderette and not one local is aweful. Super bad for long stays. Not sufficient towels/tea/coffee etc provided for long stays, how hard is it to provide additional supplies for longer stays? Staff often missing from reception area, frequently had to wait ages for someone to come. Wardrobe is sideways and inaccessible. Hallways have no ventilation and staff don't wear masks (even housekeeping). The staff don't seem to follow premier inns own policies in regards to covid

We decided to stay in hotel for my husbands birthday and booked a few activities local so this was handy. We booked in and went to room where we were hit by the smell of stale cigarette smoke as soon as we opened door, it really was foul. We decided we could not sleep in the room and went to reception to ask for another room but unfortunately was fully booked so was offered a refund. Although I am pleased we got a refund I feel no apology was offered and person on reception was not bothered in the slightest. We had to go home and commute to our booked activities which was not the relaxing weekend we had planned. When we got home I logged a complaint with company and have just been told they are not taking complaint any further as I was rude and aggressive which I categorically deny. Think this is just an excuse not to investigate why the room smelled of smoke and how in a pandemic the room had not been deep cleaned. Will never stay in a Premier Inn again but hey ho they obviously don’t care about their customers

The hotel was easy to find and to the standard I’d expect. Room was nice, I got some good sleep in. Staff were very friendly and caring. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what you get I thought but the waitress was fantastic and friendly
