Dear Dave... Thank you for your review and kind comments and we were pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and noticed the changes that we have made to the hotel since we acquired it in a rather sorry state some 5 years ago. The hotel is very much like the forth road bridge we are constantly updating areas and upgrading where and when we can. I do hope it wont be 8 years until we see you returning to us and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards Philip

Dear Sagrido83, Thank you for taking the time for recording your thoughts about our Party Night that you attending and we were very pleased to read that you enjoyed the evening. It was great to read that you really enjoyed the soup, I was however concerned that you felt the turkey portion was sparse which is totally the opposite to the feedback that we have received and we could not have fitted any more on the plates - we would have been delighted to bring you more Pigs in Blankets!! :-) had you said something on the night when we had did our satisfaction checks. In relation to the Cheese course you are absolutely right we served the cheese selection as per our brochure - Duo of Scottish Cheese and we used Mull of Kintyre Scottish Cheddar and Kintyre Blue with Homemade Chutney and Oatcakes. Have a great Christmas when it comes and I do hope that we can welcome you back to another one of our events and please make yourself known so we can ensure you are 100% happy. Kind regards Philip

Do all rooms have a sea view?
Hi Philip We are just set back from the Sea, a few of our rooms have what I would call a glimpse of the sea but we don't promote that as a feature. We are less than a 5 minute walk to beach Hope that helps and if I can be of any further help please do not hesitate to contact me on. Philip
