I stay in hotels a lot but rarely review them. My stay at Wigan Centre was so beyond expectations that I just had to share my experience. The thing that made it for me was the friendliness of the staff. We were greeted every time with a smile and were made to feel very welcome

Hi, Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear there were issues with your booking which the team did not resolve for you. If your booking is a Saver rate, the hotel team are limited to how they can help as Saver rates can only be looked into by our dedicated Saver team. We apologise this was not made clear by the team when you spoke with them about this. We do adhere to strict T&C's which are clearly advised at the time of booking. We're sorry again for the disappointment caused and hope we have to chance to welcome you for a stay in the future. Kind regards, Rebecca

The beds are super comfy and are raised up. The food is really good too and tasty too. The staff are amazing and friendly. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and all shops too.

How far away is the Wigan rugby league groung please.
Around 2 miles, the hotel is central. Going to the Stadium can be a far walk, but OK if you know your short cuts etc,

Hi Haydn Our rooms don't have DVD players but you may be able to plug a USB device into the TV. I'd suggest giving the team a call on 0333 321 9349 (select #) to clarify. Darren

Are there extra blankets and pillows in the wardrobe or do these need to be ordered from reception? Thanks.
Hi there There will be an alternative choice of pillows in the wardrobe but not for blankets, however the team may be able to assist with this if they have spares available upon request. Kind regards Elaine

"The top floor was excellent."
"Windows are sealed due to air con so all room's are probably quiet. Would recommend lower floors if you have mobility issues."
"First floor if you can get it, then you can use the stairs and avoid the lift"
"all rooms were equal we had 7 rooms booked for our group."
