I booked this one night stay for us via Ramside Hall direct on a D,B&B basis for £389 for 1 night, a year on from our last stay at this hotel during Covid. I was a little apprehensive again about everything. We had a short drive up and upon arrival went straight to the Spa to start our Spa day. Unlike last time, no safety measures were in place, hardly any staff wore masks, and temperatures were not taken. DINNER IN FUSION We had a £50 food allowance between us and as we are not red meat eaters, like last time, we chose Fusion which is absolutely delicious. This is also where breakfast is served. JUNIOR SUITE Room 114. Huge room, with large freestanding bath, double sofas in sitting area, huge Hypnos beds (which to be honest was a little uncomfortable and probably needs changing) & large Smart TV. SPA As a hotel guest you do have access to the 25 metre pool. If you wish to have access to the Hydrotherapy part of the Spa then you can only do this now if you are on a Spa Day. Included in our stay was an Elemis treatment each. My other half opted for an Elemis Full Body Massage and I went for an Elemis Radiance Facial and compliments to Georgia for such a beautiful treatment with lovely recommendations. All in all a lovely, relaxing 1 night stay.

We had a fab stay at Ramside. Room was lovely, big and clean - my favourite part was the huge bath. Breakfast was great, lots of options which is ideal. We also had spa access, the spa is amazing! We decided to order room service in the evening which was great, they said up to 1 hour wait which we expected as the hotel seemed busy, however the food was with us within 30 mins which was good! Overall a really great stay!

We booked this prior to covid so have had our reservation cancelled twice so it was actually nice to eventually stay. It was very busy on arrival but our checkin was quick by the friendly receptionist who informed us of everything we needed to know about our stay. Room was on the front looking over the reception entrance, it was clean and very spacious. We had a spar package booked which again was nice and relaxing even though it was busy . We had lunch in the fusion bar which was just delicious and our evening meal was in the steak house which was worth every penny i couldn't believe the size of my steak .the apple dessert was very impressive. we even had an hour on the driving range (never played golf in my life) was such a giggle . Breakfast the following day was in the fusion Restaurant , very good choice with a nice waitresses service I would definitely return in the future.

Our latest stay was offered for free by the hotel as our last visit was nothing short of horrendous. Our previous stay was in one of the suites. We had issues with the chauffeur, check in, cleanliness of the room and check out. From start to finish they managed to mess up. Dirty room, tab ends all over the window ledges. Our latest stay was in the celebration suite which is charged at £450 for midweek stays. We arrived at 3pm and was told the room was ready. We were given the keys and went to the room to find it being cleaned. They told me I’d have to go back to reception and wait as the cleaning manager needs to review the room. We went back to reception who said we could go for a drink and they’d contact us. 40 minutes later we had a call and was told we could go to the room. The room is large and a lot of thought has gone into it. But it’s dated and filthy. We were able to write our name in the dust and the TV remote was that sticky and dirty we had to wipe it ourselves. With Covid rife at the moment you’d expect businesses like this to up their game. We recently stayed in Newcastle and that hotel cleaned the remote controls every time and placed it in a plastic bag to confirm it had been sanitized. The sink was blocked and when I unscrewed the plug it was full of the previous guests vomit. During the evening we wanted to order a bottle of champagne. It took us 30 minutes to get through to reception for room service. We tried ringing about 15 times but it kept diverting to the spa who would transfer us but nobody answered. The hotel is just underrated. Definitely not 4 star. You can pay less and get more at other venues.

A very relaxing stay with so much to do. Rooms are big and clean and the tree houses are magnificent. We ate in the spa. Asian cuisine of the highest standards. The Golf course is perfect and the large pool and spa are wonderful. Most of al. The staff and support were brilliantly
