shower poor, dirty carpets in bedroom given a disabled room, low bed and smoking just outside bedroom window, £80 for this Travelodge is very expensive compared with other hotels in the area.good parking and free
During our stay at the Travelodge, the staff are absolutely amazing😊 they are so lovely and deserve a medal for all the hard work they do. They’re so welcoming, funny, bubbly and friendly and they are all a bunch of lovely girls. We shall be returning with a gift for all of the girls to thank them for looking after us whilst we’ve been here! From the guys in room 13😊 Keep up the hard work you guys are amazing!!

We normally use Travel Lodge for our mini breaks in England to keep costs down. We stayed here for three nights last week. This is a very good Travel Lodge with very friendly and helpful staff. We were given a Welcome sheet upon arrival with all the relevant information we needed. It is about two miles away from the main town of Barnstable. There is a reasonable size car park on site. Please note that if stairs are a problem for you make sure you book a ground floor room as there is not a lift at this Travel Lodge. There are two floors. Rooms are clean and there is plenty of room to store your possessions on a mini break. Tea and coffee making facilities in room and comfortable bed and pillows. Shower was over bath with the dreaded shower curtain. They gave us a bath mat for inside the bath. There are good quality white towels. There are breakfast boxes consisting of cornflakes and milk, muffin and orange juice. There is a Tesco Asda and Sainsbury all fairly close by. We enjoyed our stay thank you.
The hotel is clean and tidy, and I had a good night’s sleep, so no complaints. The furnishings and decor are spartan but adequate; large wall mounted containers of liquid soap and shower gel, for example. I was able to check in at midnight with minimum difficulty (I had to phone to get in as the door intercom was inadequate, but that wasn’t a great problem). Check in was very friendly and efficient. I didn’t have brekkie. I felt £80/ (just for me) was a bit pricey for such a Spartan place, but I booked only a couple of days ahead, and the car parked looked pretty full, so ... .
