This hotel is well located, close to restaurants and not far from the downtown Barrow area for shopping (the Tesco is also right across the road). Also close to the rugby stadium for those coming for sporting events and the football stadium isn't too far away also. If you are com

What time can you check in?
2pm. But they are very nice indeed and if you ring and ask them they will let you in at around 11.30/12 if the room is ready. It all depends how busy they were night b4 so can't let too many in early. But give them a ring.

Good evening, can I please ask would this be a suitable place to stay to visit places for example Windermere, Kendal and maybe Bassenthwaite? Or is Kendal the better option? Many thanks, and best regards.
Hi mrshappyDurham Thanks for your query. Our Kendal hotel is the closer of the two Premier Inns, it is just over an hours drive from Bassenthwaite whereas Barrow-In-Furness is just under a 2 hour drive. Hope this helps. Regards Amy Thacker Premier Inn Team
