Touring dorset for 8 days on a tight budget choosing hotals on room rate. Paying on average 40 pound a night.this hotal was difrent from others I had stayed at.it is in a residential area a ten minute walk from the front not the nicest area. And as my title suggests it a back street pub.but you will receive a very warm welcome all staff super friendly and helpfull bar prices extremely reasonable. Singal room basic and dated bathroom more modern. I think the price I paid is probably the cheapest I would get in weymouth altough have paid less for similar accommodation in near by coastal towns .but if your on a budget and nead cheap and very cheerful with a tasty breakfast thrown in in weymouth this is the place

Well located to both sea front and shops. Very friendly family- run ‘local’ pub. A warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. Our breakfasts were delicious and room adequate for our needs. A very relaxed and safe atmosphere. Many thanks!

We have just had a lovely break in Weymouth and found the Weatherbury to be excellent value for money. It was very much as we expected from the reports and also taking into account the price we paid. Our rooms were of a good size and very clean. Plenty of tea and coffee had been left out for us. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff throughout were friendly and helpful. The pub shows sport in the evenings but we were made welcome and enjoyed the time there. To be able to park off the road right outside the hotel was very useful. Weymouth was just opening up after the Covid shutdown. The walk in the evening down to the beach was about 7 minutes and was through residential areas. We would return here for another break in the future.

When the whole family book out the hotel it's going to be a messy one. So they couldn't do enough for us and went above beyond. The gentleman behind the bar Friday and Saturday night was brilliant. Considering he was pouring 8/9 drinks per round for us aswell as look after other drinkers. The sisters were great, the breakfast was great and the endless amount of pots of tea and coffee free of charge sat watching the rugby was brilliant. Staff asking if we have sorted for the wedding I.e guiding us to shops and taxi services. Rooms ok. Showers were entertaining comparing sizes with other rooms but they worked. Rooms were great and had a peaceful night sleep. Overall excellent and old style hotel which I loved and worth a stay. Thank you ladies and see you again soon
