Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A little peace of heaven. The cottage inside was modern and clean, the hot tub outside was an added bonus! The view from the cottage is one of the best we have ever seen! We could have stayed in the hot tub all day looking at the view, unfortunately for us we went in November and it was dark early!

We had the dog with us and found a nice track to the back of the cottage, very slippery underfoot for a short period then a good track!

Nice little pub a short walk front the caravan site.

You can visit other sites, Stratheck & Hunters Quay for more facilities (swimming pool, pub etc) but we did not make use of those sites.

Claire and Alan who oversee the site were very welcoming and helpful during our visit.

Overall it was a great short weekend and definitely worth a visit for a relaxing visit.

Wow what an unbelievable place. The view is literally breathtaking.
We stayed in Elfin cottage and it is one of the most stunning places we have ever stayed. 10/10 throughout.
Cosy and luxurious, super cofy beds and everything you could need for your stay. Relaxing in the hot tub with the view of Loch Eck was unreal.
Alan and Claire were the best. so helpful and friendly from beginning to end.
We were so sad to leave here, Even our dog didn’t want to leave he loved it so much! would 100% recommend staying here to anyone and will definitely be returning in the future.
