Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in “Essence” and it was lovely! Very well appointed with excellent uninterrupted views of the loch. Had wifi and a dishwasher! Getting to it was a bit of a challenge due to the single track road heading down from the north. The road south of the park was easier to navigate. The local beach was a short walk and very lovely. Laundry facilities on site. No idea where the nearest grocery store was but suspect it was a fair way. Be sure to shop before you get there! The staff were lovely checking us in and showing us everything, but it was a little tough to find where to check in since our satnav brought us in the back entrance. Not sure what other facilities are available onsite as we weren’t told but I’m sure we could have asked.

This caravan park is situated in a lovely quiet area. Though the nearest shops are 7 miles away in Dunoon.
In the Monaco the TV channels didn't work think goodness we had a amazon fire stick! You need to ask the main house for wifi router.
Other than that caravan was clean, tidy and cosy. The owners were doing lots of upgrading whilst we were there. Has potential to be a lovely site. Just needs a shop on site.
Theres a lovely small beach which is a 5 minute walk away. Perfect for stunning photos. At night time beautiful cloudless sky's perfect for astrophotography.

We visited with friends and our youngest daughter, aged 16, at the beginning of August 2024. Our friends had visited the previous year and loved it, so we booked caravans that were next door to each other. We stayed in an older style caravan which was immaculately clean and comfortable. It was very well equipped with everything we needed, down to a hairdryer and coffee pot! Wi-Fi was available at a very reasonable price of £25 for the week and worked brilliantly. There was a barbecue on the deck which we used on a couple of nights.

The scenery around the site is superb and I don’t think I have been anywhere as beautiful. The site is less than five minute’s walk from the beach and we went down there every night to take our friends’ dog for a walk and have skimming competitions.

There are no shops in the vicinity of the site but we stocked up at Morrison’s in Dunoon before we arrived. Glenfinart Park is an ideal base from which to explore nearby Dunoon - crazy golf near the beach was brilliant and only £5 for a family of four, and nearby Bishop’s Glen is a must. We also visited Benmore Botanic Gardens, Toward Castle ruins, and the magical Puck’s Glen. We had a trip to nearby Inveraray - amazing scenery all the way - and visited Inveraray Jail, which was enormous fun.

We are already planning to return next year to this beautiful well run site.

The Glenfinart Caravan Park proofed to be the perfect spontaneous two-night stay in our situation.
After heavy rainfalls we weren't able to reach our holiday destination at Loch Goil due to several road closures and we came across this caravan park right at Ardentinny beach. Tho we stumbled upon it far in the evening, the owner was very friendly and helpful and directly offered us one of the biggest caravans for six people. The houses were equipped with modern furniture and had everything we needed for two nights and days. From three bedrooms over two bathrooms to a kitchen, dinner table and living room.
We felt welcomed in a difficult situation and it made the rainy days until we finally reached our destination less stressful.

.Spent a week at this Caravan Park in June, weather was great sunshine for the duration. We cannot thank Hazel and Alan and their staff for the help and consideration they gave to us as we are disabled. All went the extra mile to help create memories. The accommodation was spick and span the linen almost cleaned to hospital standards. So cannot agree with previous comments. Our grand children played happily on site and made their own enjoyment after all it is a site of peace and tranquilly no Hussle and bustle - ideal to rest. Yes there were midges around, but we expected them in Scotland.. But no planted bed bugs or mosquitos. Enjoyed the wildlife especially the red squirrels who visited us daily. Counting the weeks until we get back.

Beautiful Caravan in an amazing, peaceful location. Our Caravan had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The surrounding area is stunning and there are plenty of things to do if you want a chilled out holiday.
The beach is a 4 minute walk from the Caravan and there are some amazing forestry walks.
The Caravan park is lovely and peaceful, perfect for realxing and spending precious family time together

The experience was unpleasant. My caravan was infested with mosquitos and it infested our food. On top of that, there were bed bugs, so it was uneasy to sleep. The staff and management were not as friendly as I expected. Inside the caravan is not kid friendly, so stay safe.

WARNING Do not book this site ! The female owner is so rude and unprofessional. Shocking behaviour from her. We were ordered to leave within an hour of arrival because we mistakingly approached her house to ask directions for the beach. Her two dogs came out and attacked my dog. She came out like a mad woman and ordered us to leave. The most shocking and very upsetting experience.
