This was a find! Spotlessly clean! I loved that there were two armchairs in the room instead of only one. I loved that the tea/coffee making facilities came with fresh milk in the fridge and a delicious shortbread biscuit. I loved the endless supply of hot water in a full pressure shower. I loved the beautiful wardrobe and chest of drawers providing as much storage as anyone could need. And I loved the freshly cooked breakfast. This charming couple have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And of course, there’s that view………

A warm welcome awaited us weary travellers when we arrived at Clyde View. The rooms were absolutely spotless and beautiful with fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. The location is stunning by water which you overlook when having breakfast and what a breakfast it was - delicious! The owners were so friendly and had thought everything through. Will definitely return!

Clyde View is a great place to stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The fridge in the room is a bonus, with fresh milk for tea and coffee. It is well situated in a roadside location but has off road parking. The hosts were helpful in allowing us early check in as we were attending a family wedding.
Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. I won’t hesitate to stay here again

We have now stayed at this B&B three times in the last year and absolutely love it.
It is located right across the road from the water, offering ever changing views depending on the weather. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted so warmly by the owners, Helen and Nigel. One of the nicest couples you could ever hope to meet. They make you feel so at home and that nothing is any bother to them. The rooms are immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and so comfortable.
We absolutely love breakfast here. The ingredients are high quality and cooked to perfection. You'll never leave here hungry, that's for sure! I can honestly say the food here is on par with breakfasts that I've had in any high end hotel I've stayed in.
All on all, this beautiful place is faultless. We can't wait to return.

Nigel and Helen the proprietors of Clyde View couldn’t have been more welcoming . They showed me to my room after advising where best to eat despite my late arrival , they even made my booking for me at an excellent restaurant only 1/2 mile from their guesthouse . I was shown to room number 3 which was spotless . The room was a twin with incredible le views out over the sea loch which was literally on the door step. The room was on suite with everything I needed , again the bathroom was extremely well prepared and as spotless as the bedroom . I didn’t close my curtains last thing so on waking was greeted by the sight of Sea Eagles wheeling in the sky , fantastic thing to see first thing . Breakfast was exactly as I wanted and came hot from local produce . Nigel and Helen were very informative about the route my journey would take that day as I headed north . One other thing , the very short ferry journey from Gourock to Dunoon added to the feeling of going somewhere special . No need to prebook on my travel day but perhaps ring and check with the ferry company . I wish I had stayed more than the one night . Highly recommend Clyde view B&B

Helen and Nigel are wonderful.
We stayed at Clyde View in late August, tourists going to the Cowel Gathering highland games. Clyde View was the perfect place to attend the games and visit Dunoon. First, it's bright, sparkling-clean and comfortable. The room was very nice, with a spacious en suite bathroom, TV and fridge. There's also a really nice, relaxing back yard/garden.
Also important for us is Clyde View is right on the public bus route; we didn't want to battle limited parking, especially during the Highland Games which attracts many spectators from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Helen's breakfasts are robust and spectacular - you'll likely be able to skip lunch. I have a dairy allergy, and she was happy to accommodate that.
The topper - Helen and Nigel know the area well, including history and are genuinely great folks.

We were in Dunoon on a course and felt like we were coming home every evening. A good nights sleep followed by an excellant breakfast and amazing sunrise. There is a bus stop near by that takes you into Dunoon and also easy parking.

We stayed two nights with our dogs and I couldn't ask for more. A warm welcome, great tips on where we could go and eat with the dogs and right across the road from the most beautiful loch.
I wish we'd just booked the week here frankly!
Breakfast was wonderful, plentiful and served with a smile (I have to assume at that cos of the masks but you can see in someone's eyes when they are genuinely smiling!) Fresh, local produce and with a lot of choice.

Excellent B and B, with welcoming, friendly hosts, Nigel and Helen. Our two rooms were very clean and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts, served in a room overlooking the Holy Loch. Clyde View provides off-road parking and is well situated for touring the area, and is only a few miles from Dunoon, where there are some very good restaurants (Tryst and Lorne) for evening meals.
