Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just had a fantastic lunch at the Links hotel Skegness. The staff we lovely and couldn’t fault the food. only went in for a quick drink but could resist eating while we were there. The beer (Batemans XXXB) was really stored well. Booked for a carvery later in the year when the family are coming to visit. Definitely would recommend a visit.

I was in a party of eight who went there for an evening meal. There is a wide choice of drinks at the bar. The menu is comprehensive and caters for all tastes. The restaurant is well furnished. The food and wine choices were excellent, as was the quality of service.

Food was OK but not brilliant. Pies are tops in a dish. Desserts are a big let down and expensive for what you got. Staff very friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking, lovely interior, Better restaurants around for same prices

Stayed one night, worst night of our lives, disgusting room riddled with mice, very noisy, mould ridden, I bet prison cells are 5 star luxury compared to this pig sty of a so-called hotel room……AVOID if only for your health, oh and it’s advisable to have a shower asap after leaving this dump

Has just had another amazing meal at The Links Hotel for Summer's and Jean's birthday. Once again Sukhi and his team went above and beyond to accommodate us and the food was out of this world! Nothing ever too much trouble, the staff are always polite, helpful and amazing, lovely and clean place to eat and delicious food! Thankyou all. See you after lockdown number 2!!!

Booked with Expedia, turned up at the hotel and they don’t take bookings with Expedia. Had to spend more money on a different hotel. Absolute joke! When we rang the hotel the guy on the phone was very rude and not at all helpful. 100% avoid at all costs.

Went to stay last night with my family was late getting booked in had to wait an hour out side with my 2 young children finally got let in to my room at 3pm after being told we could check in at 2 didnt end up sleeping there as the room was disgusting brown marks all over bedding and cushions was like dried in urine. Cups and saucers was stuck to each other with brown stains. Toilet had urone in and all around the seat.carpet had mud on. The room smelt stale. The manager was very rude to me when rang him to require a refund ended up bringing my children home due to lack of cleanliness. Waiting on a call for refund and will be goin to trading standards with photographic evidence. Definately changed over was there last year and was beautiful. Due to covid19 would of thought the hygiene would of been up to standards.

Omg . What a joke . Would not sent an enemy there . Stopped in the odd dive but this is a death trap . 1.5mm cable twisted and joined together for lamp with tape on . Out of date on all PAT and Fixed wire testing plus all inspection dates on fire appliances out of date . Would recommend a visit from the health and safety not the paying public.

Went for a carvery today the first thing was the dirty toilet I told one of the staff and she told me I shouldn't be using that one we got our meals which were cold and had to have them warmed up in the microwave. The roast potatoes were raw the mashed were bitter.i told the chef I didn't eat meat but I took it home for my dog then he let me pour beef gravy all over it.i complained to the owner who said it was ok and walked away I had to go to one of the bar staff who gave me half my money back. The tables were bare and the floor was dirty there were also bird feathers on the floor. The girl who I complained to made a point of walking past us and giving us dirty looks and made us feel uncomfortable
