Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We saw the advert for the flamenco show and knowing this hotel has a lovely pretty outside area and bar beside the swimming pool, we thought we would go see the show, we were disappointed that the show was actually inside in their restaurant. The show was good but the food was expensive and not very tasty, I had lobster paella and cockles to start, the service was excellent and we enjoyed the evening but the food and location was a let down. Could be so much better, has the potential to be great.

Although we did not stay here we paid a visit here on Monday 06 August to use the pool facilities. We were fully prepared to pay as one can in this resort for our days outing. There was 6 adults, two four year olds and two infants in our group.
The resort has a "no food from outside" policy. In our convoy of 4 buggies unknown to me at the time was a single tube of pringles which was duely spotted by this young upstart of an attendant, who proceeded to argue with me about the rules and regulations regarding brought in food etc. I Even offered to dispose of the offending Pringles but this guy was'nt having any of it ! I hope when the season is over this guy gets a job "with a cap" or enlists in the Gestapo or some similar organisation were he would be best suited !
We left and went to La Mirada on the beach, a similar property and they had the benifit of our money that day some €250 for the day

Room was small, but nice with balcony and nice view over the wonderful garden. Service was excellent.
Only thing was that we had to carry our luggage to the first floor (no lift) - but could of course have got assistance from the staff :-)

We have just returned from a 5 day stay at the orihuela costa resort. Almost as soon as we arrived, this area of Spain started a 15 day lock down due to measures taken to prevent the spread of the virus.
From the moment we arrived Monica and her staff could not do enough for us, all of the meals in the hotel were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. I would like to say a big thank you and can’t recommend this hotel enough . As soon as we can we will definitely be returning here.

Only went for a couple of nights and for a short stay this was just right.
The room was very modern looked like it had just been done up
The pool was large and clean
It’s was empty in the week but did get busier at the weekend but still plenty of space to move.
The staff didn’t speck much English but for what I needed it was fine.

Great prices on the rooms very surprised with the quality for the money

Love it here . Beautiful setting with plenty of shade for those hot days. Great facilities with pool and tennis courts . Loads of space to sunbathe and amazing pool . Great location but not easily to find so not busy which is a shame. Get down here to support this place

We've been using the facilities here during our annually holiday for around 15 years. We've been 3 times in the a week & we're devastated. The pool is filthy, I had a load of hair wrapped around my ankle. Dodgy cabaret acts in the evening. Gutted

Went here on Thursday 2nd August 2018. Was greeted with the worst receptionist ever. No skills what so ever. After an hour pool started to turn black but life guards did nothing so up to parents to get kids out of pool and clean them down. Same receptionist fraught tooth and nail not to refund until que of over 50 adults approached management. Very poor for extortionate prices

I work in the swimming pool industry. This pool is a deck level pool by design. This means the water is injected into the pool below the water level and overflows into the drains over the top at deck level. The water was 30cm below the top with a very visible scum line. They have struggled over the years with the cleanliness of the pool and clearly not back washing (putting new water into the system and dumping Old water). This time has been terrible and would not let my daughter in. It is a hazard. They have put a new step in and hand rail which has been half pulled out and very dangerous with 4, 4 inch nails hanging out. People must be seriously ill from swimming in water which is only reliant on Old water coming out on people’s bodies and only renewed by some new water coming in via the jets. PLEASE SORT THE POOL OUT AS IT IS A GREAT VENUE AND LOCATION. IT IS DANGEROUS AS IT IS! I cannot believe they are actually charging people for the pool currently!

"If possible choose a ground floor room if you have heavy luggage as there are no lifts. There are only 24 rooms but with great facilities as mentioned above & lots of local restaurants/bars to choose from."
