Nice hotel in Holmenkollen close to recreational areas. Classic architecture. Stayed in a huge suite for 1 night and had a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff and great food who were very helpful during my short stay.
The rooms are nice, without any doubt.
BUT... when paying € 275,00 for two nights and the WiFi does not work...
I mentioned the non-functioning on the night of arrival. Nothing was done.
It’s a pitty the hotel is not able to meet the modern...More

This would be an awesome hotel if they didn't cater to weddings all the time. We came here for some peace and quiet at the end our Norway vacation. Boy was that a mistake. This hotel is basically a wedding factory. We arrived at 4pm...More

We spent three nights in Lysebu hotel where we enjoyed its quiet location and closeness to the city metro. The main building and outdoor areas are absolutely charming and very pleasant under a ray of sunshine.

Good afternoon Bobby.
You can go to Lysebu eigther by car/taxi or by the metro (T-bane). The metro use around 30 minutes from the city center, and then there is a ten minutes walk from the station. There is a good routine for plouging the roads during winter.
The pool is open all year, and we have a nice sauna as well. The views from the hotel is always lovely, both summer and winter.
I hope you will come and stay with us. It's well worth the trip.
