K7 Hotel Oslo stands out for its stellar central location, which guests love for its easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The hotel's amenities and cleanliness receive positive remarks, particularly the range of room configurations and general upkeep. While the service garners praise for staff friendliness, some visitors have experienced delays and unfulfilled requests. Opinions on value are split; the convenient locale and reasonable rates are a plus, but some are disappointed by the breakfast offerings and extra charges. Room experiences vary, with cleanliness and size typically appreciated, though noise and inconsistent hot water are drawbacks for some.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms with enough space. Comfortable bed with light and USB port. Lovely game cafe. Easy online check in process. At key pick up they even gave me a dorm with lesser people than I booked :) only thing is that there's only 1 bathroom per floor. Which I can imagine at busy times its not nice. But it didn't bother me as it was really quiet.

Overall, we had a great experience. The hotel is close to the center, you can walk to Aker Brygge or to other central places.

The hotel staff is very welcoming and extremely helpful. They upgraded our room, which was also very nice and clean, arranged our breakfast for 3 am because we left early in the morning, and also called a taxi for the airport, at a specified price.

We would also like to thank Vasilis for his guidance for Oslo and Norway in general. He is very kind and helpful!

Thank you very much. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended.

Brilliant central location close to central station, opera house, fjord saunas, shops, cafes, restaurants.
Hotel is in a quiet location.
I stayed in the cheapest private room, it was tastefully and minimally designed with a bedside lamp, table and chair, a large bathroom, piping hot water, hooks for clothes and a shelf for other stuff.
Kitchen is small and clean with 2 huge fridges, tables to sit and eat at and a comfy sofa area ti chill.
Wifi isn’t the fastest in the rooms, it’s better in the communal areas.
Staff were brilliant - I’d forgotten my phone charger and they happily charged it, and helped me navigate booking tickets on a Norwegian site.
I would definitely stay here if I am in Oslo again.

I stayed at the K7 Hotel for 4 nights in a 12-bed dorm room. There were 6 bunk beds available in that room, additionally we had 2 toilets and 2 showers in that room.

The room itself was spacious, but the location of it was odd. We had to get out of the Hotel Building and it felt like they turned a storage room into an additional room. Unfortunately we weren't able to open the windows to get some fresh air into the room, as they were locked and you could only open them with a key. But luckily we were outside so we just left the door open to get some fresh air in there.

Additionally the bunk beds weren't very good, the beds would move each time we moved in the bed as well. The lockers we got weren't assigned logically. Like bed A & B were closer to locker K & L.

All in all, it was enough for us just to sleep in there.

The staff was great and very friendly, we could always ask for advice and recommendations.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at the K7 Hotel. We appreciate your detailed review and are glad to hear that you found our staff to be great and friendly, and that you felt comfortable reaching out to them for advice and recommendations. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Regarding the windows, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by them being locked. We will look into this issue to ensure that our guests have the ability to enjoy fresh air when desired. We apologize for the movement of the bunk beds during your stay. My first time there and I was exhausted and I was told I couldn’t check in until 4 PM when it was 2 PM it disappointed me. Other than that one lady Seev was really nice and helpful I really liked her. Some receptionist really knew there stuff others couldn’t care less. I would suggest not making me wait until 4 PM to check in while you let others in my room at 1:30 AM to wake me up while I have to get to the airport the next day. Also I think I should’ve gotten upgraded for free because of all the noise keeping up at night from the first day making it really uncomfortable for me to sleep. Did alright but, they could’ve done much much better.

We try our best to meet our guests needs. We can not guarantee a early check in, but we do our best if the room is clean and ready. I stayed at the K7 for 3 nights (checking out today). The location was perfect. However, we were checked in by a very rude receptionist on the first day into a room that did not meet my expectations. I had specific corespondence directly with the hotel to confirm private bathroom facilities for the category I booked. So I also ended up sleeping on a matres on the floor as the hotel was fully booked and I could not upgrade to a room with a proper bed and facilities. I reported the rude lady the next day and have not seen her again for the rest of my stay. I truly think for what I payed I did not get my money's worth. And I opted not to include breakfast which I also thought was completely overpriced.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay at K7. We apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment you experienced during your time with us. We regret to hear about the behavior of the receptionist you encountered upon check-in. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we apologize for any rudeness or lack of professionalism. Rest assured, we take such matters seriously and will address this with our team to ensure it does not happen again in the future. Regarding the room allocation, we apologize for the mix-up and the fact that it did not meet your expectations. We understand that you had specific correspondence regarding private bathroom facilities, and it is unfortunate that the room did not align with your requirements. Very bad service and staff. We had to sleep in a dirty room because the hotel wasn’t clean on the morning, we explain to the receptionist and just he told as that he cannot do nothing with one actittud very passive and very bite preocúpate to give a solution.
Conclusion: any solutions from the hotel and we have so sleep on a room dirty within clean towels and smell bad.

For to pay that service y prefer to go to one hostel, are cheaper from one hotel and the clean are the same…

Nice location and rooms. BUT a hotel room without a single towel and you have to call the reception to get towels drags this hotel down to nothing for me. Such a simple thing as towels should be in every room. Sorry K7. After a long flight you don’t wanna jump into the shower just to realize there is not a single towel or drinking glass for that matter. Do it right! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Nice hotel/hostell in the central of Oslo! All the sights were near, only 5-20min walk👌🏾Compare to other accommodations the price range was reasonable for two days considering Norways prices (53€/night). The concierges were nice and helpfull (available 24/7). Our room was clean and easy to find. Breakfeast was delicious and fresh, and we were able to cook our own food in the self service kitchen.

Only downsides were that our room was cold even though our heating was full on. Also we would have enjoyed two pillows for each instead of one that were little hard. Everytime we sat or turned in the bed there were loud noise.

Within good walking distance from the Central Train Station, and easy access to the city centre. Friendly staff on arrival and throughout the stay for 3 days.

They provide you with bed linen and towels at the front desk when you check in. I stayed in a mixed 12 person bedroom that had two shower rooms and two toilets - very clean facilities. The bedroom lockers are nice and big and you if bring a travel lock you can secure them when closed.

The only two things to mention were the batteries in the bedroom door lock kept dying throughout each of the three days and I couldn't swipe in unless the staff sorted it or a roommate let me in. Second thing was breakfast was lovely but there wasn't much to choose from.

Lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone on a solo, friends or family trip.
