Hotel located close the city centre, on the very quiet street.
Comfortable and clean hotel. Everything is thought for the comfort of the guest.
It's very nice to have refreshments in the lobby all the day: apples, tea, jelly😘

5 days in Vienna with a friend in January.
Picked his hotel for location with the good reviews and it was on point for both.
Communication even before arriving requesting a different room size was quickly acknowledged and taken care of. During our time there we wanted to switch to a bigger room - again, got taken care of by the manager within a few hours. The suite is totally worth the expense in my opinion. Rooms were clean, bathrobes, chocolates and coffee machine (in the suite) were appreciated.
Location is a quiet street with nothing much on it but 5 minutes in either direction will get you to a coffee shop, a mini market, and a few restaurants.
Recommended (:

If it looks like home, feels like home – It's Home
Das Tigra hotel Vienna
1) The hotel stuff – when the receptionist asks you: "how are you?" – He really means – "How are you". Each and one of the stuff members is polite, helpful, and friendly and mainly gives you the feeling that he's a longtime friend. The discussions we had with the workers of the dining room were interesting and gave a personal view about the lives of immigrant's in Vienna regarding adopting the new language, culture and mentality.
2) Service; in many hotels I've stayed the service is good, in this hotel it's excellent – when asking for an extra pillow it arrived 87 seconds after our request!!!
3) Location – everybody said that Vienna's public transport is second to none, well we didn’t have to try because the hotel is situated in heart of the old city – walking distance from all the important sights. 5 minute walk from 2 major U-bahn stations, surrounded by excellent bars and restarounds
4) Cleanliness – everything is spotless – the rooms are so clean you could truly eat from the floor. The dining room looks like a museum and so are the rest of the parts of the hotel
5) Bath – I don't know about you – but I need a bath tub specially after a long day out… the room was provided with a very big bath tub and consonant hot water running 24 hours a day
6) Small things that make your day: great chocolate bars on your pillow, umbrellas for public use in the the main entrance, apples and tea, great Wi-Fi all over the hotel, beautiful lounge
7) The dining room – very rich breakfast including various types of bread, cheas, sausages, eggs, fruits, juices and even cahmpanige !!!! The food is simply great!
8) If I had to rate the hotel it would be 10+

+1
On getting the room we received some chocolates and a bottle of water. The water was not given again after clean up as I am used to in the hotels I was in before, but the tap water is drinkable so it was not a problem.
The breakfast had a lot of options but did not change a lot from day to day. A lot of fruits, meats and cheeses, bread, eggs.. Everything I wanted for breakfast. The coffee is made per order and has a lot of options.
The hotel is up to 10 minutes walk to a lot of metro stations, and the city center.
For this price to have such a good breakfast, distance to center and overall appeal is amazing.
When I come back to Vienna I will stay here again.

My wife I and I stayed four nights here in late November. We both stayed there on earlier visits, both in 2010 and 2015, and have nice memories from these visits.
Returning in November, we came to an upgraded and wonderful hotel, giving us much value for money.
The hotel has an excellent location, a ten minutes walk from the famous St Stephens Church, and the St Stephens place, five minutes walk to the Herrengasse U bahn station, where we there is easy access to the CAT train going to the airport. Let me add that two of the Weihnachtsmarkts are located very close to the hotel. In addition, the world wide known Christkindlmarkt at the Rathausplatz is just a ten minutes walk from the hotel. Almost no traffic outside the hotel, made it a very quiet place, but also very close to the hustle and bustle from the busy traffic in the nearby streets
Breakfast was delicious with multiple choices elegantly prepared and displayed in the breakfast room. The staff both in the breafast room as in the lobby were always at hand, willing to give us advice and recommendations.
The room were very nicely decorated with all the necessary toilet articles, slippesr and bathrobes. Even a bathtub, not only a shower was available. The only small negative point to mention about the room, was that the room was quite warm, as we struggled am little bit with the air condition to make it work.
As a conclusion and a recomendation: Take a closer look at Boutique Hotel Das Tigra at on their website when you are searching for a charming hotel with excellent service and also giving value for money if you are planning a visit to Vienna.
We shall definitely return, next time we shall visit Vienna.

The location is perfect and everything is walkable from the hotel. The hotel is clean, the staff is welcoming and professional. We stayed for 4 nights and slept without any noise disturbance.
Breakfast is really good! Normally I am always a little bit hesitant with an open buffet, because it’s often in hotels the same and simply okay-ish. Nevertheless they offer great variety, good quality and you should especially try the scrambled egg.
Because my wife isn’t fully vaccinated and had to do another PCR-test, the hotel offered one of their free testing kits.
The room was clean and tidy while entering, but it smelled extremely strong of cleaning detergent. So much, it was affecting my breathing. I opened the window to air the room for a moment. It’s not a big issue. Nevertheless, it can be a problem for people with asthma.

For our first ever visit to Vienna my wife chose the Das Tigra Hotel. It was a wise move. Situated in a quiet one way street this fabulous hotel is ideally located just a short stroll from Vienna’s main shopping area, St Stephen’s Cathedral, The Spanish Riding School and the ‘must visit’ Cafe Central, to name but a few.
Like the city centre, the Das Tigra is clean, classy and elegant and for a boutique hotel we had a really spacious room that was very well appointed and came complete with a window that opened and an effective, easy to control heating system.
The buffet breakfast is well worth taking, with an extensive selection of food to choose from. There really is something for everyone (the pastries were very difficult to resist).
Every member of staff that we encountered was helpful, friendly and polite and were a credit to themselves and the hotel. They couldn’t be faulted and they all played such a big part in helping to make our four night stay in the beautiful city of Vienna an unforgettable experience.
We will visit Vienna again and the Das Tigra will be the first hotel that we look to book.

From the moment we walked through the door and were greeted by staff I knew my research to find a hotel paid off.
Our stay was perfect, the hotel is lovely. The reference to Mozart around the hotel is a nice touch.
The room was small but more than adequate, bed was comfortable with lovely pillows. The shower was roomy with great water pressure to wash hair. You know you are staying at a hotel that goes above when they provide face washers, it was much appreciated as were the other small personal touches such as a treat left in the room each day and the foyers lovely water, lollie, apple bar.
Breakfast had a great selection and the hotel is in a great location with very attentive staff. I highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in a standard double room.
The room was a decent size with good facilities - aircon that was really effective, a mini bar, tea and coffee making items, toiletries and a decent sized flat screen TV with Netflix and Prime Video. The room had a nice comfortable bed and although there was no bath there was excellent water pressure in the shower. The room was also serviced daily.
The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the canal in one direction and to the opera house in the other. There were lots of bars, coffee houses and restaurants nearby and we really enjoyed walking around the city from this base.
Inside the hotel, there was a pleasant bar area with a good choice of reasonably priced drinks served by friendly staff with complementary peanuts. Sabri deserves a special mention as he was a really nice guy who gave us excellent service.
Our booking had breakfast included and there was a wide variety of options to choose from - something for everybody.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. A nice touch was the screen on the wall in the reception area which the staff could use to show directions on Google maps to places you might want to visit. Another nice touch was the complementary umbrellas which came in very handy on the day it rained!
I’ve seen some reviews that mentioned how noisy the surrounding area was. We did not experience any of this and we had a restful sleep every night we were there.
Overall - a great place to use as your base when visiting Vienna. If we come back I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for four nights and very much enjoyed our stay. Location is excellent, centrally located for all main Vienna attractions and just a few minutes walk from underground stations that can take you out of the centre.
Our ‘comfort room’ was large and spacious and our only minor criticism was the size of the bathroom which we thought was rather small and cramped given the excess space available in the main area. Good facilities in the room. Good quality toiletries, nice ambient lighting with tea/coffee making facilities provided. The bed was very comfortable and despite its central location everything was quiet at night.
Breakfast catered for every possible taste although because this is quite a large hotel, navigation around the various food stations did prove quite difficult at peak times.
All the staff were exceptionally friendly and we would not hesitate to return here again.

Hi, I can not remember any noice. But was there some noice at all or not - no idea now.
You will need to contact the Hotel directly ref the Airport Bus as we travelled in a prebooked taxi (approx. 30euros). The hotel will sort early breakfast and retrun taxi if you ask at reception. Have a great time in Vienna.
Dear Bob,
we do not have our own gym, but we do have a cooperation with Holms Place.
A day ticket costs €20,-
The Gym has a lot of offers, for example a swimming pool, sauna etc.
Best regards,
your Tigra Team
