The Aquamare Beach Hotel & Spa is celebrated for its pristine cleanliness and prime location near the beach, with the scenic surroundings and easy access to Paphos frequently mentioned by travelers. Guests have called out the live music and classic decor for contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.
While the staff's friendliness and professionalism are often praised, there have been some concerns raised about the outdated nature of the rooms and the hotel's amenities, including the pool and spa. Beautiful hotel - service is absolutely fantastic - spotlessly clean and very covid award and prepared . This hotel could teach British hotels a thing or two about still giving a fabulous level of service whilst being Uber covid savvy .
On arrival check in was swift and we had temperature checks , whilst being given champagne . Our arrival was at midnight so they provided small snacks also which was a nice touch .
The rooms are spacious , spotless and decorated in lovely neutral colours . We were each provided with an amenity pack that contained hand gel , gloves and a fabric face mask . My only negative comment about the room was there was very little storage or drawer space . However the fact that the family room is huge and provided a separate bedroom was a nice touch .
The day beds round the pool at 50 euros each are well worth the treat . Private drinks service , private swimming area champagne , fruit platter flip flops and cool towels are all included in the price.
The food is fresh , the staff ultra friendly - the entertainment is as is to be expected in a family hotel , a bit cheesy but the effort is made. We have paid a lot more in the past for far inferior stays so all in all really happy with our choice .

We stayed 6 nights at this hotel, with breakfast, 2 adults and a child, with breakfast. I received a room with a double bed and a folding bed for the child, comfortable. Room with sea view, not very spacious as in the pictures presented, with bathtub, not spacious cabins as on the site, bathtub that you do not have pressure if you switch the battery in the shower. The floor is tiled and you can hear the chairs in the room above when they are pulled. Gowns and slippers, toothbrush and razor are missing. In order to receive an extra adapter for the socket, in order to be able to charge 2 phones while we are in the room, we were asked for 2 euros. The sockets work while you are in the room, when you are away, the light goes out, the air stays connected, which is fine. Breakfast is normal, not diversified, the same all stay, the coffee does not shine, the juice is in the dispenser, very sweet. At 10 o'clock, all the dispensers come and close, there are some very aggressive Cypriot waiters, they shout at you to put on your mask, they put you at the table where they want, given that the restaurant is on the ground floor and represents the access to the pool. , everyone goes through it, with slippers, in a bathing suit, which is totally not indicated in this pandemic. If you want, you can serve lunch with 15 euros per person / adult and 8 euros / child, without drink. You can also have dinner at same prices. The food is good but there is no diversity. Every night, they have a theme at the restaurant. All sunbeds are occupied with towels, early in the morning, even if no one sits on many of them. Nobody checks this. The beach has 7 sets of sunbeds, under 7 canopies that are always occupied. The beach is not taken care of, the entrance to the water is inadmissible for children, there are only stones and algae that lie on the shore, without anyone collecting them. The meals on the site presented at the seaside, do not exist, may have been in other years. There are some elevators that go hard. There are only 2 showers wich are very slowly for min.100 pers on the beach. One beer 0.500 ml is 4.5 euro, one cofee 3.5 euro, one milkshake 3.5 euro, one glass of wine 4 euro, one bottle of local wine is 15 euro. Most of the guests of the hotel go to the market to buy water and drinks.

Beautiful location and amazing views. This felt like a relaxed hotel where we felt comfortable. We found all the staff to be courteous and polite and keen to please.
Small beach right outside the hotel with additional hotel beds provided. Would recommend taking beach shoes for swimming as its very rocky, as most of this part of this part of the coastline is.
Food was excellent, plenty of choice and of good quality ( we were AI) Lunch served in the Kirke restaurant overlooking the pool and sea, which we preferred due to the outdoor eating area but the evening meal was served in the ground floor restaurant. Whilst the room was well set out and food presented beautifully, we would have liked the choice to eat outside on an evening too (the Kirke Restaurant was only open 2 nights for dinner rather than usual restaurant).
Italian night served on the Sunset terrace 2 nights per week (must be prebooked but included in AI) definitely worth doing and was a bit more of a restaurant experience.
The drinks were fine but drinks from the pool bar were served in disposable cups, even on an evening. Whilst I understand the reason for no glass round the pool, I think decent plastic glasses would have made it a nicer experience.
Rooms are a little tired but cleaned every day, toiletries provided with fridge and kettle provided (we had a standard room with a sea view) sea view definitely worth paying extra for.
Fabulous sunsets from the terrace, but pop just a little farther left along the beach and you can watch the sun go down which was gorgeous.
Communal areas and grounds are well kept. Having looked at some of the other bigger hotels where the sunbeds were in rows very close to each other we much preferred the layout of this hotel where beds were on natural shady areas in amongst the gardens and palm trees.
Entertainment is pretty low key and happens in the beach bar. There were some good musicians and mix of easy listening and traditional music which was OK for us. Not sure it would suit families with young children
There's a beautiful walkway right along the beach from the hotel to the harbour. But theres also local buses which are regular and cheap and there's a bus stop close to the hotel which takes you to the harbour too.
Beach towels are provided and can be changed as necessary. I had a massage in the spa which was amazing (negotiate your price, don't accept the first price offered)
We had a late check out but you are able to use the gym changing rooms to shower and change.
All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Beautiful hotel. Impressive sea views. However easy access for anyone to enter hotel from coastal path. A suspicious man entering the indoor swimming pool area on a daily basis sitting watching with his phone and getting changed behind the bushes. BE VERY CAREFUL with your children as there is a couple of exits for children to be taken directly to coastal path as there is a lot of waste land. The cleaners are friendly. The receptionist very unfriendly, unhelpful and curt. Food very nice. Breakfast delicious and varied and evening meal very nice. However advised thst it was all inclusive but had to pay for water and stopped before leaving dining area to ensure drinks were paid for. I had to pay an extra 50 euros to stay in the room til 8pm due to late night flight which we were not made aware of this when booking the trip. Keep your eyes on your children at all times. Don't think your children are safe going to the toilet on their own. Don't trust no one

Very well located in the heart of Gerouskipou Beach in walking range of many shops and restaurants and excursion booking places Paphos is a short bus ride away buses run past very regularly day and night. The hotel itself offers all meals as buffet service as well as a beach bar serving lunch food the main restaurant buffet offers a different type of cuisine every night. The hotel also has a spa offering many different services a gym (free of charge) and a hairdressing salon.
The rooms which are very clean (although I did notice faults in the daily cleaning during my stay but then I work as a housekeeping supervisor I notice these things there would be nothing wrong at all to anybody else) they feature both bath and shower although light in the bathroom is very poor can’t see to shave legs all the usual toiletries you except to be provided are provided although housekeeping are quite poor at replacing used items by day 5 I was washing my hands with shower gel as my soap l had not be replaced, not a complaint just an observation. The bedrooms are spacious with WIFI and TV although no English speaking channels except BBC news. A fridge is provided which for me is essential for milk as I do like my tea which is not provided the website says tea/coffee making facilities provided this is not the case a kettle and plastic or paper cups are provided that’s all just as well I always take my own tea things. The bed is quite hard which obviously some people like I don’t but obviously the hotel cannot cater for everybody’s personal preference, although as I general rule I’m a poor sleeper here I slept better than usual. A safe is also provided free of charge this always gives me peace of mind. There is no full-length mirror not a problem for me personally but some people do like this The outdoor pool/sunbathing area is very much covered with trees beautiful as it is it is not great for sunbathing as no unbroken sunshine. If like me you’re a sun worshipper I recommend walking a few minutes down to the beach no obstacles total unbroken sunshine, and a water sports place if that’s your thing. Beach towels provided by hotel spa and changed as often as you wish but make sure on your departure you have your towel token with you on checkout this is returned when requested on your last day I’m sure reception staff will help with anything they can of required I had no need to ask or anything.

Reception well fitted with nice furniture and staff really friendly.
Evening meal was very nice with good choices for most taste & again staff friendly and helpful.
Having booked AI we had a few surprises and they weren't nice ones so I wouldn't recommend them or AI off peak as the hotel does provide this service.
The hotel is ideal for the "beach" but don't expect golden sand and I recommend sea boots for going in & out of the sea as it is rocky.
Hotel boosts complimentary gym, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. Jacuzzi was signed max. 3 people, gym is good & seems well maintained, sauna basic but no alarms should you need help. steam room was been broken and used as a store room?
Some great staff who will go the extra mile and made the stay really pleasant and tried to manage all our needs.
Internet is poor basically the reception and you have to keep logging on as it will not remember you which is very annoying.
Rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need but with only 4 coat hangers built in to the wardrobe?
It's around a 40 min walk to harbour along the beach path but this is day time only as the path not illuminated. There is a bus stop outside the hotel & 1.5e takes you in to town centre in 10 minutes.
Bbreakfast is good, plenty of choice, unfortunately this is not repeated for evening meals with very limited choices for vegetarians.
Hotel was a bit dated and needs modernising and some TLC ahead of summer season.

We have been there in mid-September the weather was fantastic. It is not a large but also not a small-scale hotel.
It was recommended to us by the travel agency in our city, and they spoke highly of it, so we booked it.
You can choose between the breakfast, half board or all-in formula.
When we got here we were actually a bit disappointed , but this passed quickly .
We received a very friendly welcome at the reception, and were allocated a room that actually met the standards we had requested. The room was not super big but not too small and everything was available, it is cleaned daily. The view of the sea was phenomenal.
The bathroom was quite ok, clean towels every day, the bedroom also the beds are very good and everything that was in the photos in the brochure was also present, including small fridge and safe completely free of charge, you don't have to do too many stairs, there are plenty of alevators
The lobby, bar and dinner restaurant are on the ground floor, as is the swimming pool where you can get fresh bath towels every day.
The beach, the Beach bar and also the breakfast and lunch restaurant are located one floor below where the swimming pool and the beach bar are located everywhere there are sunbathing areas right on the beach, the beach is not large It is a small sandy beach with a pontoon in it sea ,because in front there is a part where there are rocks. also there sunbeds are available for free.
Everything is close together, immediately next to the pool you come to the breakfast and lunch restaurant with open terrace, where it is very nice to stay.
It is a relatively small buffet  well varied, you certainly don't eat the same thing every day.
There is a large gym, an indoor swimming pool and a wellness & Spa, a shop and a hairdresser.
There are toilets everywhere downstairs and they are cleaned at least 3 times a day.
In the Beach bar you can eat a snack and drink a cocktail, with soft music really chilling out.
One floor up In the lobby there is a very nice bar where you can pick up snacks until 12 o'clock in the morning.
On this floor is also the dinner restaurant with very pleasant staff and again plenty of choice. They do everything here to make you feel comfortable. This is a 4 star hotel and it is worthy of it. It is located at the end of a long promenade of about 3 km.
It is therefore very quiet here, no noisy situations. Via this promenade you can walk to the city at the harbor with its many shops and bars, or you can take the bus that stops 50 m from the hotel.
There are large shopping centers here, but also many places of interest. We were not bored for a minute. We had a beautiful view of the sea, in short, we had a very nice holiday. The weather is wonderful, it is recommended.
We can only say that we will come back here .
I would certainly like to thank the whole staff , of the hotel, Mister Pierre the manager ,and Mister Aristos ,for all the effort and effort they put in to make the customers happy and have a carefree holiday.Even in COVID times, the staff is fully tested and vaccinated .

Booked 10 days at the Aquamare just arrived home The hotel is traditionally furnished the rooms or at least our side sea view room was very outdated, lovely and clean with amazing views but old, as were the towels in the room.
The beach towels provided were lovely and freshly laundered, sun beds ok, pool rather small there’s only the one big one outside so everyone pilling in including the kids as the childrens pool is more suitable for babies/ toddlers .
Entertainment. None!!! No animation team, occasionally a singer in the outside beach bar, but really boring, no music around the pool, nothing happening at all. All the other hotels have something but not the Aquamare. You can walk out easily to the bar’s and resuarants close by and even walk into Paphos harbour or bus 611 outside the hotel, excellent service I recommend you get out or go stir crazy!!
The food ….. I’m a vegetarian we were all inclusive so after 3 nights of nothing but plain pasta I spoke to the restaurant manager to ask what there’d be for me, he replied all I had to do was tell the chef what I’d like and they’d cook it. I mentioned a couple of dishes I would like, he then said you can have an omelette and suggested I have soup, it’s red hot I don’t want soup plus it’s chicken soup???? He the pointed to a large potato and said I could have that with a little veg. So we ate out we paid for our own food on top of already paying for all inclusive, other guests commented the food was just Luke warm and repetitive.
Some staff great, others rather abrupt and off. We are frequent visitors to Cyprus but will not return to the Aquamare.

The Aquamare is an ok hotel overall - the amenities are good enough, it is located on a great bus route and the views of the sea are gorgeous.
Sadly though, the hotel is lacking in a lot of areas.
We requested a non-smoking room and were allocated a room on a non-smoking floor. However, upon arrival we noticed the room stank intensely of stale cigarettes. We politely mentioned the smell to reception staff who said they would investigate, nothing ever came of it and we received no apology.
The beach is a nice addition, however it could do with some maintenance. There is a huge buildup of sea weed and no effort is made to clear it.
The indoor pool was sadly out of order when we stayed. This was a shame as there were a couple of rainy days, and it would have been good to have the option to swim indoors.
Some of the staff are kind, however most seem exasperated, miserable and unwilling to help. Unfortunately this did tarnish our opinion of the place generally.
We were staying on a bed and breakfast deal, so can’t speak of the food at dinner. However, the breakfast food is ok at best. There was nothing that particularly stood out. We did have lunch at the restaurant one day, it was 18 euros per person which was wildly expensive for a mediocre buffet.
Overall, the hotel is fine if you are able to find a cheap deal. I wouldn’t suggest paying full price.

We spent 7 nights here we knew the area really well as we are ex Paphos residents literally wanted a cheap break. Definitely not for families with small kids unless you just want the pool & you intend leaving the hotel on an evening. Entertainment is musicians in the beach bar. An odd special bbq which was really nice food. Basic rooms free fridge & safe room on 4th floor kept spotless each day , the maids were extremely polite.. We found the staff extremely welcoming & most helpful with any advice or query. Marina stole the show at the beach Bar such a funny lady & makes a fantastic milkshake which she’s proud of .Only gripe for me was my slight disability with sight so husband had to escort me to toilets especially as paths were busy near pool & uneven & compact . It has 1 toilet by the toddlers pool plus down steps no lighting till actually inside ladies which are at the end & floor always wet. Alternative inside hotel walking through dining hall as people were having lunch. Sunbeds if before 6,30 am you were lucky to find one were spread about the grass & they do need replacing .They get soaked when they water the grass so your wet through before you start. Definitely should be couples only hotel & look into the disabilities area . Bus stop outside regular service or a nice long stroll on the coastal path is nice with bus fares very cheap. As an older couple we would return but early or late season so as to get a Sunbed each day. Obviously with the family it would be one of the other well known chain of hotels further down the road look fabulous but will cost lots more.

Yes, there is a pretty rocky beach directly to the back of the hotel. There is also a pretty church five minutes walk away and the path will also take you to Paphos main area.
I didn't notice sunloungers on the beach when we were there in February but the loungers are light enough to carry the short distance from the hotel garden to the beach.
I am not sure as we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis
