Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were allocated this hotel by Tui due to extensive road works near our original choice. Initially we were a little apprehensive as it is a 45 minute walk from the harbour area where we usually stay but the efficient bus service was so good we didn't really notice the distance. We were welcomed at reception and everything was explained re where various restaurants were within the hotel and times of opening, the swimming pool area, the bars etc. Our room, 615 on the 6th floor was everything we hoped it would be. Exceptionally clean and well presented overall with the most beautiful sea views ,the beds were very comfortable and although it was an adjoining room any noise from next door was minimal. The food at the hotel was very good, although I did not think the Barbecue night was worth the 25 euros as there was no steak which for a four star hotel, we would have thought this would have been offered. but that is a minor quibble. The staff and the manager are very efficient and friendly and we would most definitely return here.

Perfect beautiful hotel. Bed so big and comfortable. Sea view room amazing. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Facility's great with spa. Only one negative the in door pool needs up dating. Large bolts stick out from walls in pool where hand rail used to be. But we would love to stay again. Breakfast great choice. Room serv8ce great we used it twice.

I chose this hotel because of indoor swimming pool. It appeard that the water is the pool is dirty and very cold - about 25 degrees. Nobody from hotel guest use this pool. I claimed this situation but all managers with whom I talked about this case do nothing about it. Except this breakfasts every day are the same. The beach is stony and the entrance to the sea is dangerous. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

Never an issue getting a sunbed here, loads of space and different areas to sit at either at the pool of in the garden. Extensive breakfast choices. Easy walk to bars and restaurants, some with live music. A supermarket very nearby as well. Staff were great.Very clean

I booked sea view room. I got one on the 2nd floor , looking over a big balcony and far away the sea. I asked the reception to change our room but they did not seem too keen on helping. The rooms are old fashion, carpet and old textiles. The spa area closed at 5 on a Saturday. Breakfast was good, good variety.

Lovely hotel and staff. Short ride in taxi from airport- 50€ We went B&B- great breakfast and a very good variety of food to choose from. You certainly wouldn't go hungry, even if you were a fussy eater. Beautiful grounds and beach right on your doorstep. Lovely pool area and the water was lovely and warm. Yes people did get up early to put towels down, but always managed to find some loungers on the grass area. Nothing much during the day for entertainment, only aerobics twice a week. Disappointed with entertainment in the evening, just the odd singer. Rooms were very dated and could do with a bit of a makeover. A lovely walk along the sea path to the harbour/town. Took us about 45 minutes to walk. Bus stop into town/harbour close by the hotel and only a couple of euros. Some bars and restaurants as you turn left out of the hotel about 10/15 minute walk- highly recommended. Would I go back- YES! had a wonderful time.

Had a lovely week on a half board basis. Food was amazing! Hotel fresh and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. They even put fresh fruit and a bottle of wine in our room for my husband's birthday! So kind. Would definitely book a Seaview room, brilliant sunsets and sun all day on the balcony.

We have just got back from 10 nights all inclusive at the Aqua Mare. We booked ages ago but was then worried about some of the reviews on here. All I can say is that our room was fabulous - modern, spotless and with fantastic views over the sea. The food was great (and believe me I can a fussy eater). The staff were all lovely and helpful especially in the bar and restaurants. No complaints at all from us!
