I feel I need to write a positive review counteracting all the bad ones. We have been to this hotel twice now, in two different years, because that is how satisfied we were. YES this is a budget hotel and it is very cheap so do not expect luxury or daily room service. However, the room is clean, everything works, the terrace is lovely for breakfast or drying your swimsuit, you can prepare small meals in the kitchen, and you can set the temperature on the AC, and shut the blinds for sleep even during daytime. What more do you possibly need? :) Of course if you go to Cyprus to lounge in your hotel room all day, you won't be that happy here but we book a hotel to sleep, shower, refresh and recharge before our next adventure and this is perfect for it. Will come again the next time we come to Paphos. Walking distance from the sea coast and Kato paphos, outside of the loud touristy zone. This is important for me as I am a light sleeper but the surroundings of Crystallo are always quiet. The hotel helps you book a rental car.

I wonder if the hotel reads these?. Have left reviews previously hotels an shops etc but a fault on Tripad cleared everything. I stayed with my grandson, so that was an experience Im not sure about doing again. Apartment was nice with bins emptied every day, apartment cleaned every few days and the cleaners were always courteous. Never used the pool we were mostly out daytime. Towel's and bedding changed when asked and with the cleaners asking us, sometimes we didn't need towels changed because with showering we were mostly Clean and were just for drying off with. Had a few queries with Adrienn on reception, even spoke to George (owner) but didn't get the chance to speak to stathis unlike previous occasions.....he can be funny if you get him in the right mind and a pleasure to talk with. Bit of traffic noise due to the ongoing roadworks around the sea front and side streets but that will pass and didn't really bother us. Grandson liked the free to enter ruins over the road from the hotel, entry from the far other side away from the hotel, up-down in and out underground and a family of bats got his attention in one place in there. He also liked the cats around the hotel making friends with a few of them. Took him to "Jumbos" in the shopping mall but it's like cheap (but expensive'is) plastic toys of the 70's in the UK.... amongst other things. Anyway back to the hotel..... It's not 5* so don't expect waiter or valet service, it's clean and close to most things 10 mins in either direction or bus ride for further attraction's. I have been here quite a few times, in winter and spring and summer over the years and is one of the two hotels I normally stay in, I have stayed in other but as a rule it's either here or the other. Rooms possibly a little tired in places but otherwise fine. We had air-conditioning and used it once and there was also a free to use safe, Fridge- freezer TV toaster microwave kettle hob pots n pans utensils etc. This is a bit long winded but hey TAd lost my other reviews 😂

We arrived with 4 of our friends and on being allocated rooms our friends were given rooms in the main complex around the pool. When I asked Adrienn on reception I was told that our room was in a separate building across the street. I explained that when we booked the holiday I had e mailed her with a specific request that we all wanted rooms close to each on the on the first floor overlooking the pool. She replied to the e mail saying she would do this when the rooms were allocated. She said she couldn't now give us a room in the main complex as they were fully booked. The room we were given could best be descried as shoddy. The bathroom in particular was really small and grubby. The glass door on the shower didn't fully close and the gap had been filled with an old nylon curtain adorned with brown stains which could have been blood or something worse. The shelf above the sink was unusable as it had been attached to the wall with a couple rusty screws at an angle of 45 degrees and anything placed on it fell into the sink. The balcony deserves a special mention. Just big enough for a table and 2 chairs and instead of a view of the pool we were treated to the sight of an old abandoned fridge a rusty cage and various other items of rubbish from the apartments opposite. See photo. Don't think we'll be back.

Refused to let me cancel and refund (or even partially refund) when I had to cancel my trip due to my mum passing away unexpectedly. Not only that, the staff were really rude about it in the phone and harassed me on WhatsApp to try and make me feel bad about leaving a bad review when my mum's just died. What's worse, I find out the hotel went ahead and cancelled my booking anyway without a refund and without my agreement, probably so they can double book it to someone else

This is very much a budget apartment stay, we were prepared for that and had made sure we had throughly researched before we stayed. We were very much geared up for a cheap and cheerful holiday and after reading the reviews were assured that the room facilities would be basic but clean and comfortable. The apartment we were given (number 4), was not particularly clean (the bathroom and in particular the shower was in great need of cleaning and updating!) The room was not serviced regularly and the towels were all very crispy and worn, we were only given two towels per apartment and I had to ask for more (which were given), we stayed for 10 nights and the bed sheets were only changed once during that time. There was limited crockery and glassware, we had to ask for a tin opener and we’re told once we had used it to take it back to reception. Upon arrival when shown to the apartment we had to cross a very busy road to get to it and when we saw the bathroom (there is a shower curtain being held up with a plumbing pipe instead of where a cubical should be), we instantly asked if we could be moved. Unfortunately they had no other rooms available to move us to, and we were told we should have booked a superior room at the time of booking. If it had been made clear that there is a very big distinction in the quality of the rooms then I would have absolutely paid more for a better room closer to the pool area. The road is very busy and we were kept awake and woken up with traffic noises through the night. The apartment we were in is on the ground floor and from our small patio area all we could see was a bush. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with lumpy pillows. On the plus side the air con worked a treat! The pool area itself is quite nice and the water very warm. The area is let down by the toilet, shower and changing area near the pool which is in desperate need of cleaning, repairing and updating. There are no locks on any doors, which makes showering and changing very uncomfortable. The apartments are in a good location central to the harbour and the busy night scene of Paphos. The staff are friendly and welcoming. If you do chose to stay here, make sure you upgrade and be aware that this is a very budget hotel/apartment and you do get what you pay for.

This is a budget self catering place in a great location for kato paphos attractions. On arrival late at night the man staffing was watching TV and appeared slightly off with us. He gave us 2 keys and brief instructions about the room. We were tired and possibly didn't take it in very well. In the room we couldn't get the air con to work so went back to ask him...again interrupting his TV watching. He seemed annoyed and accused me of not having good English! I was born in the UK and it is my first language! I tried to humour him a bit and shrugged his comments off. In the day time there was a lovely lady on reception called Adrienne who was really helpful and kind. The room itself was clean and spacious with a good balcony. There was cutlery, crockery, 1 wine glass(!), 2 tumblers, 1 mug, 1 glass mug...not enough really for more than 2 people. There was a good hairdryer and a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge with small freezer and 2 ring hob. The towels were not great- grey when they were originally white. Some were in need of throwing away as had seen better days. The bins were changed daily and if you wanted room services you can hang a sign on your door. The shower was small but functioned perfectly well. The shower floor was slippery. We didn't use the pool as not our thing. The changing area, showers, toilets at poolside were tired looking and needed a clean although the room toilets were fine. Generally it is an OK place - if they spent a little money on some areas, it could be much improved. The location is good though and it's a good base for exoring.

What a wonderful place felt really comfortable and a very warm welcome from reception in the middle of the night! Quickly settled. Lovely pool clean bedding and facilities had a slight problem with cockrochs in my room but my room only, as spoke with other guests. The staff really did their best to defeat the problem shame it spoilt my time away only due to the fact of no sleep I would love to return one day hopefully will have a better experience. Definitely worth a try though close to all amenities but not in the hustle and bustle of everyday life in pathos! Thanks to the team at Crystello maybe see you again one day xxx

Got a weeks holiday through a Groupon deal and was really pleased with Crystallo. We were in the block over the road but apartments clean and well equipped with south facing balcony and great air con, 2 single beds tv large fridge, two ringed hob toaster microwave kettle etc. Pool about 15m in length and very clean so nice to swim in. Small bar that is very cheap but no food at the apartments. Nearest decent supermarket is in the Kings Mall. Location fab 10minutes walk to the harbour and promenade and 10 minutes to the Kings mall shopping centre and Tomb of the Kings Road where there are loads of bars and restaurants. Eklekton restaurant a few doors down for the hotel does fab mezze and mixed grills. Catch the 615 bus to Coral bay beach outside Ben’s bar just passed the Kings Mall. Lovely sun beds at Annabelle Hotel right next to the sea €12.50 for two sun beds, parasol and towels and waitress service. Enjoy
