We enjoyed our stay.. clean .. great breakfast... easy walk everywhere downtown ... even facing the square we heard no noise ..we stayed at the beginning of our trip and at the end on the third floor and the 5th floor.
-We've stayed at number of hotels around the world at this price range and still scratching our heads as to why we paid this much for our room.

Clean & nice place. The staff at the reception seems to be clueless and is not willed / able to help. The bathrobes in our room where suddently gone and have not been replaced during our whole stay. Good breakfast. Complementary WiFi.
The hotel was very nice and clean, and location was great, but the customer service was very subpar. At check in the the concierge seemed very inconvenienced, and any questions we had about suggestions for things to do in the area were pretty much left...More
Stayed here for 3 nights - great location close to everything. Lovely hotel - efficient - clean - well staffed. Rooms are adequate but quite small - very modern - bathroom - shower only - no bath but wonderful Molton brown toiletries in large quantities....More

We used fly bus who take you to the edge of Reykjavik and then by mini bus to the hotel - Grey line offer a similar service. Too expensive for a cab - the system worked really well both ways - they have it down to a fine art.
Yes they have lifts in all the floors. It's a very good hotel, I recommend. Excellent location in Reykjavik downtown. Its better if you ask for a room in the back of the hotel because of the noise of the street.
