Wonderful stay and memorable experience at the Apukka Resort Rovaniemi. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish, and activities provided by Apukka Resort was amazing. We stayed in the The unique Kammi Glass Igloo Suites were fully equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a comfortable double bed under a panorama sky view from the top window. The restaurants are very nice, offering Lappish cuisine and the food on the A La Carte menu has a delicious options to choose from. For the activities we did Aurora Hunt on the Snow Train which was great in the snow covered forest, snacks and hot drinks were included. One of the highlight of our journey was Lakeside Sauna experience which was amazing and the Artic Sauna which was a real treat and unforgettable! Absolutely loved the dining in the restaurant Aita wooden hut and Kota restaurant. I would like to thank all staff members for their friendly and professional service, this place is must visit, ideal for both couples and families. Highly recommended!

Property's Favourite Review
After extensive research we chose Aupukka for our family holiday. We spent x5 nights in a Kammi Class igloo and booked lots of activities. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and were looked after by the very friendly and helpful staff. The igloo was perfect for our family of 3, it was clean, modern and had everything we needed. All the activities were ran by friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff and at no point did we feel rushed. Snowmobiling with Erwin was a particular highlight. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice, both hot and cold. We pre-booked and paid for half board for 4 nights of our stay, This was the only negative for me and I wouldn't do this again. Its no cheaper booking and paying up front than if you just rock up that evening. The starter and dessert are buffet and you get to choice your main meal from 2 options. Although what we had was nice, if you didn't like either of the 2 options you were stuck. We also tried to swap our pre-booked half board for the A La Carte menu on our last night and although initially being told we couldn't, they did allow it but only gave us 40% of our pre-paid monies towards the cost. Dont get me wrong, all the food was really nice but by pre-booking we boxed ourselves into a corner and had no option to try the other restaurant onsite. I would highly recommend Apukka and 100% stay here again but simply not book any dining options in advance.

We loved our stay at Appuka Resort. The rooms, staff and outings were all amazing. We especially loved the husky adventure, and we got lucky and saw some aurora borealis! Staying here is definitely a splurge but a once in a lifetime family adventure.

A very well located resort, next to Rovaniemi where it is the Santa Claus Village. The villas are unique, luxurious, super aesthetic and with a lot of privacy. We have a glass on the bed so we can see the norther lights of the bed. There are so many activities at the resort, which will be an incredible adventure

We stayed at Apukka Resort for 3 nights in March, in the Aurora Cabin Queen. The rooms were very nicely decorated, and there was sufficient space for 3 adults + 1 infant. During our stay, we were warmly welcomed by the resort hosts, and they have a welcome pack with gifts, and a map introducing the resort area. We loved that there were many spaces to explore - reindeers, horse and a slope where we spent lots of time sledding and tubing. During our stay, the resort hosts were all very welcoming! In particular, Benjamin was welcoming and helpful with our luggages, and giving us a tour around the resort and giving an orientation on how to use the features in the room as well! Thank you to the Apukka team for the great stay!

I have visited 67 countries so far, but this was one of my favorite trips ever! Everything about our stay at Apukka was simply marvelous. A beautiful resort located in the middle of breathtaking nature, beyond friendly staff and service, delicious food and well organized adventures made this holiday one to remember. We were even lucky enough to see auroras on our last night. Expensive, yes! But worth every penny. We will be back :)

You must stay here if you ever go to Rovaniemi! I stayed in the Kammi Glass Igloo Suite which was honestly such a treat. It was so cosy, with such a stunning view of the night sky through the roof. Upon arrival staff were so lovely and thorough with explaining everything, including all of the pick-up points for the various activities offered by the resort. The buffet breakfast was great and there was an abundance of options.

We had an amazing experience at Apukka resorts & would recommend it to anyone. We enjoyed every single activity we did & we’re lucky enough to catch the northern lights too. It can be pricy but this was fully expected by us & we thought everything was worth the money. Very clean everywhere you go. Would love to return with friends one day.

The most memorable trip I've ever had! From start to finish the experience provided by Apukka Resort was brilliant. We stayed in the Komsio Suite which is excellent, comfortable and stylish. The restaurants are very good and the food on the A La Carte menu has some delicious options to choose from. For the activities we did Snowy Nature on Horseback which was so pretty in the snow covered forest, the Husky Adventure which was really fun although cut short due to it being warm for Lapland so the huskies couldn't run for long in slushy snow (due to risk of injury), and the Aurora Snowmobile which was awesome! We also did the Lakeside Sauna which was amazing and the Artic Sauna which was a real treat - 3 types of Sauna (ice, wood-heated and electric) and a Jacuzzi all of which were to ourselves. For a place to get engaged I couldn't have thought of a better location. Henna from the staff desk was so helpful with organising everything and suggesting things such as decorating the room and the private celebration dinner in the restaurant Aita wooden hut. All in all an unbelievable experience despite no Northern Lights and slightly warmer weather, but these are things nobody can control so I couldn't have asked for anything more from the Apukka team. This is a must visit place!!
