Varasimme etukäteen venepaikan Vuorilahden (Tynkkylän Lomaniemi) vierasvenesatamasta, koska veneemme on suurikokoinen ja matkassa vieraina 2 pariskuntaa, joille halusimme näyttää Saimaan parhaita elämyksiä. Saapuessamme paikka odotti selkeästi laiturissa ja isäntä itse opasti meitä rantaan. Olimme varanneet satamasta etukäteen saunan, jonka lämmitimme ja nautimme löylyistä. Venesataman palvelut olivat kattavat: sähkö, roskapiste, useita erilaisia vessoja/huusseja, kaksi saunaa, hyvä hiekkaranta, useita laitureita isoillekin veneille. Ylempänä 100m kävelyn päässä tilan päärakennuksessa on kahvila, vesipiste, käsityöpuoti ja maatilamuseo. Ostimme aamulla vielä tuoreen leivän ja pullat mukaan venematkaan. Vuorilahti eli Tynkkylän Lomaniemen vierasvenesatama on hyvän palvelun satama, jonne yleensä mahtuu myöhäänkin sisään riittävän syvään veteen ja saa hoidettua veneilyn perustäydennykset.

I brought my family for a vacation in eastern Finland. The cottage we stayed in (named Norppa) is great. It was very modern and clean. The view is amazing, 2 saunas, one in the house and one on the path to the lake. We had our own private dock and small boat. The service was outstanding and I will definitely be going again. Thank you to Jukka and his family business, we had a wonderful stay

On summer sundays 12-15 you can enjoy a traditional style buffet with several salads, fish entrees, warm food and strawberry cake with coffee. The restaurant has inside seating with table clothes and a several tables outside. The coffee is open daily during the summer.

We were passing through on our way to Koli and decided we needed a little coffee and cakes. We looked up this place on the internet and although it was a little off the beaten path it was so worth it. The place is lovely and the cakes were fresh and delicious. We didn't stay in the cabins because we already had a room booked elsewhere but this is definitely a great location to rest and relax and stay a few nights in the very private cabins. This would also be a beautiful location to hold a party, event, or wedding.

Одно из самых романтичных мест на берегу Саймы. Коттеджи на любой вкус и кошелек, практически для любой компании - от 2 до 20 человек :-) Соседи в соседних коттеджах не мешают отдыху. Развлечения также на любой вкус - прогулки на лесу и воде, велосипеды, баня и т.д.
