The hotel is filled with Danish design, especially the furniture. Our room/suite was furnished with Finn Juhl pieces, a real delight! I would recommend anyone with a design and/or retro interest to stay here. The staff is also very friendly and helpful!
I stayed here for 5 nights on a business trip. I chose the hotel because of its emphasis on mid-20th century Danish design, which made for very cool and unique interiors. But the standout feature for me was the excellent service from all the staff....More
The Alexandra has a great location, excellent water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water, and a strong wi-fi signal. There are no big, annoying, loud, tour bus groups using this hotel which is a plus. Our room was quite small, but very efficiently...More
We booked 3 room, and 1 of the room I think was upgraded, because the room was bigger the the other. This hotel is unique, old fashioned. It doesn't have AC in the room and they provide fan inside the room. I stayed in this...More
We stayed at the Hotel Alexandra for two nights before our cruise from Copenhagen. The price was reasonable and the reviews were good. First, the room was clean and comfortable; the staff was friendly and helpful; and it was in a good location for sightseeing....More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding

This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Probably best to email the hotel directly. In my opinion the rooms are spacious enough for a cot and 3yr old to be accommodated. I saw children staying in the hotel when I was there.
