Grecotel Casa Paradiso is celebrated for its serene atmosphere and family-friendly entertainment, though there's room for improvement in sustainability practices. The staff receive accolades for their exceptional service, contributing to a pleasant stay. While the rooms are typically clean, guests have noted they could benefit from modernization and better upkeep. The hotel's amenities, including the lush grounds, diverse dining options, and proximity to the beach, are well-regarded, even as some guests find the value questionable due to high service costs and limited premium offerings. The picturesque beachfront location, however, consistently captivates visitors.

We arrived late and were welcomed by a lovely team who took us through for dinner (they had kept the dining room open late for us). Our luggage was delivered to our room and we were shown to the bar area which remained open until 1.30am.

We had a family bungalow with side sea view. Double bed and in the other room two single beds. They haven’t been refurbished but they were clean and had everything you would need including power sockets with USB ports and air conditioning in each room. Room was cleaned every day. Beach towels were also provided (which we hadn’t realised before we came)

Food was lovely and catered for all of us including a fussy teenager. The beach bar during the day served crepes and sandwiches if you didn’t want to come back to the main hotel restaurant. The a la carte restaurant (you need to book this at reception) served us a lovely main dish but unfortunately our appetisers were forgotten and if you go down there take a jacket as it’s a bit chilly down there in the evening.

The three teenagers in our group were well looked after from mock tails made for them at the bar and activities during the day. The water polo was a great hit.

You can walk to Marmari in about 20 mins and there is a bus stop outside by the beach that can take you to Kos Town etc.

The staff work very hard to make sure everywhere is cleaned and that you are well looked after.

If you are looking for a holiday that’s non stop on the go then this probably isn’t for you, but if you want sun, sea, sand choice of pools, pool slides, excellent service and a really relaxing week then consider this hotel. We will definitely be back

Well done to the team at this hotel they work really hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible including the head office team. Special thanks to Despina at head office who dealt with all my questions!

Thank you!

Overall had a lovely 10 night holiday with friends. The bar, cleaning, restaurant and ground men staff through out the hotel were always polite and helpful, sadly the reception staff not so much especially Daniel, very unhelpful.
The food is excellent and plenty of selection, and the drinks are mainly branded which is a bonus. Large selection of wines in restaurant for evening dining, just help yourself to bottles in fridge.
Unfortunately we could not book in to the Ala carte restaurant, the app stated that they were fully booked for the whole time of our stay, when we tried to book on app on day of arrival.
The top pool has lovely sun loungers but only a small number so never able to get one, even though I went at 6:30 am one morning. The pool closer to the beach does have more loungers, but nowhere near enough for amount of people in hotel. We only managed 2 days by the pool due to this problem. The beach is lovely but you’ll still need to head down by 10:30am to get a lounger there too, especially on weekends. I think locals head there and use the loungers, the beach staff will ask them to leave if they can see they have not got a wrist band on.
Great bus service right outside on road by the beach. €2.10 single into Kos town, really lovely place to visit. As it’s the first stop you’ll be guaranteed a seat heading in to Kos, but returning buses really busy but they will squeeze everyone on. Buses always on time too.
The rep for Hays isn’t very informative, and doesn’t really promote any trips. We booked a trip to Bodrum through the rep and the day was a disaster. No air con on bus in Turkey in 40+degrees, got taken to a gold shop where you get locked in and have the hard sell for 30minutes to buy very expensive jewellery, some people were very intimidated by this. The boat broke down on the way back and we kept getting told a new boat would arrive in 30minutes. We were sitting in tremendous heat with no air conditioning again as we could not get off the boat. 4 hours later we were heading back.
We arrived back at hotel at 10pm, the restaurant had closed so missed a meal and had no option of eating that evening, unless we wanted to stay up until 11:30pm for a snack!! Left overs from pool bar in the day.
If you fancy a boat trip, I can recommend the ‘Princess Diana’ boat that you can book yourself in Kos on the front. Family run boat and not over crowded. It’s much cheaper than booking through the rep.
Make sure you take plenty of suntan lotion as it’s really expensive to buy when you’re there.
I’m sure you’ll have a good time.

Nice family friendly hotel. Rooms nice, some have been updated, we stayed in one that is yet to be done but it was still fine, spacious, just the bathroom a little dated but still fit for purpose. The cleaners did a great job of always cleaning our room to a high standard and putting bottles of fresh water in the fridge each day.
Reception
Friendly on arrival and our bags were taken to our room s for us. We arrived at about 8pm so took our bags to our room and came back to reception to ask who we needed to speak to regarding gluten free food, as myself and my son are Coeliac. The reception asked if we had emailed the hotel to let them know, luckily we had and I would recommend if you have a food allergy/ intolerance you do this, don't rely on the travel company to do this for you.
Restaurant
The staff were very helpful, they organised someone to show us around the restaurant to tell us what we could and couldn't have. If you ask at breakfast they will bring you out pre packed gf rolls, vanilla sponge and a pack of little cookies. You can order gluten free pizza and pasta for dinner, this has to be ordered either at breakfast or lunch from the main restaurant. You can also ask for gf dessert at dinner. All staff in the restaurant are very helpful and friendly but a specially mention has to go to Paulina. She was so friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble, all done with a smile on her face even when she was really busy.
We never felt like a pain if we asked her for anything. She made our dinning experience so much easier.
Well done Grecotel for employing such a friendly and approachable team of staff, who go out of their way to make your holiday run smoothly. Very sad to be going home today.

Just got back from a 11 night holiday with the family. The hotel is set in lovely well maintained gardens with the added benefit of fruit and vegetables growing for the hotel use. We stayed in the bungalows which are basic but clean. The hotel mainly caters for Germans and this comes through in the Kids club and the children entertainment. Overall we had a lovely holiday but there are a few areas which could do with improvement.

Reception staff - we had booked our holiday as a family and emailed the hotel before we arrived to ensure we got rooms near each other so that we as grandparents could help with the small children, upon arriving late at night we found that this was not the case and we were in separate blocks, we were told to go to reception the next day by the night porter to sort. We did this and were fobbed off saying that there was no other rooms. We went a few times and got the same answer, they were not interested in helping you. We also had a issue on check out as we had a late flight back and with a baby and a toddler we requested a late checkout but they said there was no availability. We had been earlier in the week to reception and they said to come back at 10am on the day of check out which we did but again we were fobbed off. The hotel needs to have a area where late check outs can shower and change, they have just build a new toilet block near the play area which has a changing room but no shower which is a complete waste of space. They also have a lot of room downstairs from reception surely one could be placed there.

Pool Area - Going to the pool bar the water from the slides splashes over on to the walking area which makes it extremely difficult to walk without slipping.
The lifeguard could have kept wiping the water away but they were more than happy sitting on their phones or looking bored. They also sat with their backs to the slides on most occasions instead of overseeing what was happening.

Pool side bar, only one person serving and queues could get quite long. On a positive the food there for a lunch was good.

INSECT BITES - if you are coming to stay here please bring some insect repellant with you and some bite cream, we all got bitten several times.

Dear Mrs. Janet, It was a pleasure to have had you with us and the hotel's management and staff thank you for investing the time to share your review with us and other travelers. We are happy to read that you have enjoyed the beautiful gardens with the fruits and vegetables as well as the clean rooms of the hotel but most importantly we are glad to read that you several points of food really good. With that said, however, we were most disappointed to learn that you were not entirely satisfied with the conditions and every aspect of your experience. We offer our kids club which is separate from TUI, available daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. It features a variety of activities and is open to all languages. In addition, our mini disco includes songs in both German and English, as well as other languages, to ensure all our young friends can enjoy the same level of fun. In terms of check-in and check-out procedures, the officially designated times are from 2:00 PM for arrival and 12:00 noon for departure, irrespective of the individual arrival time. Our responsibility is to ensure that the rooms are prepared for the next guests. If there are vacant rooms, it is feasible for someone to retain their room until the time of his departure. However, if there are no unoccupied rooms, regrettably, this is not possible. It is worth mentioning that we always make an effort to accommodate guests with a room for freshening up, but this is contingent upon availability. Additionally, the presence of insects is a natural occurrence due to the hotel's surroundings, which comprise extensive gardens and a rural location. Having noted every single detail, we ensure you that your concerns have been discussed during the management's meeting and an action plan is in progress to be applied. We truly hope that you would give us the opportunity to welcome you again to our Resort to see all the improvements made based on your valuable words. Yours respectfully, George Skoufoglou Hotel Manager & the Casa Paradiso Team

I will start by saying the hotel is lovely and the room was amazing, great pools and amazing location on the beach with private sunbeds free for hotel guests, we would definitely come back here we just have some recommendations that we noticed along with other residents agreeing with us.

Overall a good holiday and good hotel with a few things that could have been better that may be worth adding. Firstly, although the food (breakfast, lunch, and evening meal) is nice and cooked well, there could have been a change in the choices throughout the different nights as on day 3 it began to feel very repetitive as we felt we were eating the same things all the time. For improvement they could have done a themed food night each night of the week therefore making each meal different. Also, the snack bar by the pool near the beach was not very good at all and we have seen much better in other hotels. They only had a small selection of sandwiches and fruit, and someone making crepes, again, this was the same everyday with no change.

Moving on to the entertainment, the team were not very enthusiastic at all and were very last minute a lot of the time. In the day they would do darts, waterpolo, aqua gym, and yoga. A good selection, but not very advertised or announced. In the evening they would have kids club and kids disco which was the same music playlist being played every night, and when it came to the ‘adult’ entertainment, this was very short and some night only last 45 minutes being left with no music and sitting in silence after at around 10:00/10:30pm when the bar didn’t close until 1:15am. When the entertainment finished a lot of the time we would go back to our room as there was nothing else to do and would sit on the balcony listening to the hotel next to ours entertainment in the distance.

Finally, we arranged a day trip to paradise beach which was amazing, however as we got picked up at 8:55am by our transfer and the hotel shop didn’t open until 9am, we couldn’t buy any water for our trip, so we asked around in the restaurant, at reception, and even asked a cleaner who had a whole pack of water bottles with her as she was cleaning the rooms, to be declined of a bottle of water and told they were only to be left in the rooms.

Lastly, we were taxed €3 per night for accommodation (€21 in total) at the end of our trip when we checked out and were not aware of this as it wasn’t mentioned when we checked in. this is not a problem to us as we are aware that when going abroad a lot of the time there is a room tax, the only problem was they could have made us aware of this Or made us pay it at the start as luckily we has some spare euros, however, if we didn’t have any euros left and if you’re in the situation we are in were we don’t get paid until a couple days after we get home then we wouldn’t have had the money to pay this.

All staff were lovely, friendly, and welcoming, this hotel would be a four start to us if the above was considered. Thank you for our stay, we love Kos!

Dear Maddy, Thank you for you extensive review and for the time taken to list all your experience in detail. We are very pleased about your words regarding the amazing room, great pools, amazing location and in general how lovely you found our space. Concerning now the breakfast. Since your last stay we took many things into consideration from out valued guests and upgraded the breakfast lunch and dinner experience. Theres also an outdoor Grill station where you can see your food being prepared. The same goes to the snack bar as it offers street food now. As for the entertainment,(kinds mini disco, Greek night, karaoke, Disco Night, Music Quiz etc.) it’s over by 10:30pm as part of our guests, with and without children, sleep earlier but the pool bar is open till 01:30 but music is being played. As for the accommodation tax it’s for the Greek Government and required by law. We are sorry that this information wasn’t adequately passed on to you. Please feel free reach out to reservations.rp@grecotel.com with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. We would love to make things right if you give us another chance and please accept our apologies for the things that made you feel uncomfortable. We thank you once again and it was an honor to have you as our guests and you are always welcome here at Casa Paradiso or any other Grecotel Resort. We booked this hotel as a family holiday, mum dad and two boys aged 4 & 8.
We arrived around 01:00 in the morning, so got no information from the one person working in the hotel, just a key and a room number! We found the room which was a banana room, located opposite the restaurant. On arrival we went into a room that was not what we expected! There was clothes left in the wardrobe from a previous guest, toilet seat was just about hanging on, tiles broke and filled in with grout. In general it was in need of some serious TLC and obviously a clean.
The next morning we went to reception to complain, we were told that we could move rooms but would have to come back in another 24 hours! We left it 24 hours and went back, but to be fair by this time we had slept 2 nights out of 7 in the room, the cleaner had been and cleaned and removed the clothes and the toilet seat was repaired on day 2, so we wasn’t too fussed to be moving, so we asked if we could have a late checkout instead, which two of the reception staff agreed that would happen. The day before departure I went to confirm all of this was ok and I was told to come back at 10:00 the following day, which I did and I was told that we can stay in the room for an extra 6 hours, but I need to pay €240! They lied to us from the start and I don’t expect that.

The hotel is in serious need of some money spending on it, cleanliness isn’t top priority! The restaurant has black mould all on the ceiling, the pool area needs the floor cleaning. The sun beds are comfy and the pools and slides are great for the kids. The snack bar is a big hit and food is good, but it’s a nightmare trying to get through the area when people are sitting down, so children are walking on the edge of the pool to get to the toilet, which is pretty dangerous as it’s a deep pool. Beers in coffee cups is not good and would be better for the environment if they were reusable plastic.

Food in the a la carte is nice, but the food in the main restaurant isn’t that good! Wine is nice though and you can help yourself whenever you want some.

Entertainment during the day could be better, they were doing water polo and my eldest was trying to join in but he was told, no, it’s for adults only! Entertainment at night was ok, but if you can’t speak German, you don’t know what’s going on!!

Overall definitely not a 4 star, 2-3 star in our opinion, but has potential to move up with the right management and investment.

It’s sad that I’m having to write this as we was so excited to be going.

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Paradiso and we had a lovely, relaxing holiday. The hotel grounds are stunning and the beach is perfect, great waves for splashing around in and water not too deep so felt safe for our 6 year old. The beach is also perfect for watching the beautiful sunset at night. The food is great and drinks and cocktails are all good quality. The staff are friendly and extremely hard working. We booked the à la carte restaurant one night which was really good and a nice change from the buffet.

We stayed in a room in the main hotel which had a beautiful sea view. Room itself was a bit basic but had everything we needed and was kept spotless by the hard working cleaning staff. Entertainment was good, especially the beach party which was great fun.

Both pools are great but we spent most time at the one near the beach which was a bit more lively and has water slides which are great fun. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel with a regular bus service into Kos Town, which is definitely worth visiting.

All in all we had a great holiday and would recommend for families.

Just back from 10 days staying in a garden bungalow with our 4 year old. Overall a great and memorable holiday. Large hotel with two big pools and sandy beach.

Buffet food, lots of options hot and cold. Food was good, very busy sometimes with lots of queues, occasionally felt a bit like a school cafeteria. A La carte was ok, service was poor and it got very breezy. All inclusive drinks selection was amazing.

Bungalow had main room with large double bed, and sliding doors to a small room with two single beds. Clean, functional rooms, fairly basic and bathroom needed updating. We didn’t always get fresh towels or water delivered each day.

We got the bus to kos town (approx 30 mins and a few euros) which was well worth doing. Also a taxi there and back to Zia for sunset, around 30 euros each way so not cheap, but very enjoyable.

Entertainment doesn’t start until 8.30pm each night so we didn’t ever go sadly. Too late for our daughter. Kids club looked good, but almost all children were German and we felt our British daughter might have not been able to join in. Mostly German speaking families at the hotel with a sprinkling of other nationalities.

Pools very clean, beach sandy other than pebbly bit when you get in. Really lovely. The coast in that part of kos is very windy, which made the sea very choppy some days, and the lower pool also very windy. Top pool more sheltered.

Had to work hard to find things out like where to get a bus, what time the restaurant opened, how to call a taxi, how to book a La carte and so on. Some basic information in the room would have really helped.

Overall a great stay. Very family focused, lots of children even though outside of school hols. Clean, functional rooms with good food and lovely drinks. Local places to explore.

I have just returned from this hotel and I highly recommend it, mainly for families with children. First I would like to highlight the fabulous staff at this hotel, from cleaners to gardeners, barmen, waiters, reception staff...everyone was so kind and smiling and extremely helpful. Special kudos to Anna (reception), Zia (beachbar), Zaza and Rafail (bar) and also all the staff at the a la carte restaurant where the food was really amazing. The food at the main buffet was also very nice, everything was always filled up, the choice was also ok. The rooms (I stayed at the bungalow) were a little outdated, they need a bit of modern touch but always super clean and provide everything you need. I didn't like the cocktails much but the wine was lovely. The hotel is mainly oriented for German tourists, with a few English people there. There are really a lot of kids so probably not too suitable for couples. It got really busy before i was leaving but the high season has started so i fully understand it. The entertainment was ok, needs a bit improvement. The beach was really great, white sand, amazing sea - slightly cold this time of the year but during the hot days, it was refreshing. Thank you again for making the stay for me and my baby amazing and relaxing...as I said, the hotel should be grateful for the employees working in the hotel.

Currently staying at this hotel, and although many of the staff are polite, they’re not all great!!
Notice in bedroom indicate beds to be changed after three nights, but does not automatically happen and we had to ask.
Floors in rooms not cleaned between guests (still marks and sand that were here when we arrived) and staff often standing round talking when half way through jobs - eg cleaning the soft drink machine whilst she is standing chatting to the bar staff. Only when someone tried to use the machine and gets covered in orange fanta as no nozzle does she return - no apology or explanation, clearly annoyed that they had tried to get a drink!! At least the machines get washed.

Dirty teaspoons and cup in our room for days and milk not replenished once so far even though we’ve been here for 5 days and had coffee when we arrived on first night!!
Dirty glass left by someone else outside of our room and not cleared away - been there for three days do far.
Added to that, no irons in rooms and €6.00 for service to iron one shirt leaves me feeling a bit like. I’m not getting value for money.
