We stayed at this hotel twice over eight days after reading good reviews on various sites and because it is close to the airport and therefore handy for taking off to other parts of Crete. (Just return to the airport, right on the roundabout and...More
Rather small rooms with simple decoration and somewhat dated. Only a small minibar is offered in room, you will find that no teapot, coffee maker or water heater is available. The bathroom however is a positive, because the shower cabin can be completely shut; it will...More
First stayed back in 2007 as a base to explore Heraklion for a few days - Returned for one night in August 2018 and the hotel feels equally welcoming for an airport sleepover. Room's are fine, breakfast good and enjoyed the pool for a morning...More

The air con did not work and the room fridge was inaccessible. I was unable to use the fridge as it was blocked by the bed.The hotel was also in a very noisey location. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The ancient site of Knossos is well worth a visit and can be accessed from the main bus station by local bus, there are also museums, galleries and old churches that are worth a visit. The town centre of Heraklion is packed with shops and some malls just ask at your hotel reception. You will find English spoken practically everywhere and judging by the clarity of your question you should be fine. The Cretan people are warm, welcoming, cultured and very helpful so have a wonderful time!
