A very good location as you can stroll around and visit Athens heart and most important monuments. And in case you choose to spread your options , the hotel is within 5 min. on foot from the underground and train.
A high quality customer centred service from reception to breakfast service, they met our needs and they were eager to answer questions/ give advice and offer services within their limits.
Breakfast served to the room combining quality and quantity.
A very cozy accommodation to sleep, a very clean room, good quality mattress, pillows, and despite the size of room which is medium to small, the bathroom is relatively big. The functionality of the room is very good and keeps the noise of urban streets outside.
A good ratio quality to price.

Staff at the hotel cannot do enough for you, very friendly and will offer you some great recommendations for food, places to visit etc.
Rooms were clean, but due to Covid house keeping was upon request which you would just ask passing reception in the morning on the way out (this was fine for us)
Breakfast was continental and served a la carte style, you just choose from a list of items that you want.... things like juices, coffee, tea, toast, fruit platter, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausages, hams & cheeses, cakes and biscuits. So much variety and tasted really lovely, certainly kept us full for most of the day.
The location of hotel was fabulous, managed to walk to all of the sites from here e.g. Acropolis, Olympic stadium, Hadrian's Library, Roman Agora etc....
So many great restaurants/bars/coffee shops near by (within 5 min walking distance)
If we return to Athens, we will defiantly book to stay here again!
Thank you to all the staff in the hotel you made our stay enjoyable

Check in first class and no waiting.
We did book an Acropolis view room, but you couldn't actually see if from the room
You could see it from the balcony no problem at all. The balcony looked partly over the street which was a bit noisy at night, but you couldn't here anything when in the room, the double glazing worked well. Great view at night.
Could not fault the room or service.
Breakfast was also very good.
Great location to walk to the nearest hop on hop off buss stop was also a real advantage, so this made getting around easy. Loads of local restaurant's and bars, and if you looking for English type food the Irish bar was just round the corner, great food and beer. You could even get Sunday roast dinner if you wanted it.
If we ever go back to Athens this hotel would be first choice due to location and everything close to hand.
Don't expect to get anywhere fast in this city the traffic is a nightmare and makes it a slow process to get around, and the hop on hop off bus doesn't allow you to jump between stops very easy, one way system.

The hotel is small with very comfortable rooms, really good food and great service. The staff was friendly and helpful in every aspect. The location is near to many small shops and just a short walking distance to the Acropolis and surrounding restaurants and shop stalls though many winding walkways. Highly recommended for the price, location and quality.

We stayed at O&B for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. We had an Acropolis View junior room. The room was appointed well with a mini fridge, comfy bed, full tv with English channels and a very spacious bathroom. The AC worked well and the room was bright with a HUGE outdoor area overlooking the Acropolis and the street. The location of the hotel was on a street that wasn't too busy and I did not hear any street noise at all and the other half is VERY light sleeper. Each night after touring and dinner, we came back to enjoy wine on the lovely balcony area which was fantastic.

The staff were amazing as well. I asked for ice several times and the desk clerk was on it with a smile. We needed transportation to the airport and it was arranged quickly. When our flight was delayed 4 hours, they contacted the transportation and moved the time and allowed us to stay in the room until 1300 when we needed to leave. Breakfast was nice each day and the breakfast service was attentive.

The location is walking distance to most things and we only used taxis to get to and from the airport. If you have never been to Athens, be prepared for the excessive graffiti, but regardless of the "street art" the hotel is in a safe area close to tourist attractions. It also is very convenient to the Sunday market. Additionally, for a bit more of an authentic city feel, you can walk opposite of the Acropolis direction and find many less touristy restaurants and shops with less touristy prices if you are into that sort of thing.

Overall, this hotel was just as advertised. Oh, and by the way, Athens cabbies still try to overcharge from the airport. The sign says 38 Euro. Stick to your guns and just say no when they make some excuse about why it should be more such as traffic, etc. (The taxis the hotel calls won't try to overcharge, fyi). Great hotel, highly recommend.

The rating is based on this lovely hotel and the fantastic room we had. However be warned, due it's location, there can be loud music from the surrounding establishments, so light sleepers beware or bring earplugs.
For us we were very tired at the end of the day and soon fell asleep. We actually loved the location, even though you think you are in a shabby rundown street. The Acropolis is a 20 minute walk and across the road is Monastiraki and Plaka tourist districts. Just behind is the fabulous night life of the Psiri district. Lively South American bars, good priced Greek restaurants, pizzerias, and themed dessert cafes such as Fairytale Athens and Little Krook. The 'posh' Kolaniki district and Lycabettus Hill Cable Car can be walked to in 35 mins.
We booked with hotels.com and were lucky enough to get a good discount on an Acropolis view room, (number 21), on the third floor.
This was a big room, very clean, with a double bedroom and two sofa beds in the lounge. The balcony was large and we had amazing views of the Acropolis by day and night.
The staff were very friendly and very responsive to any emailed questions leading up to our stay, including help with transportation.
We would highly recommend visiting Athens in October, it was warm, without being too hot and there were not huge crowds.

The O & B hotel is a small hotel in a covenient location, it is walking distance to most sights and close to restaurants and shops.
The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was large and the shower was great! We stayed six nights, our first night was a Saturday night and it was quite noisy but the rest of the time was fine. I'm a light sleeper and did not have any trouble sleeping during our stay, just make sure the sound proof windows are closed at night.
All staff were polite and helpful and rooms were cleaned early in the day.
We would have preferred a buffet breakfast and the internet was slow, especially in the evening but overall we were very happy with our stay at the O & B hotel.

Hotel is located right in the heart of the city, you can walk everywhere quite easily depending on how hot it is outside. Staff are friendly. Due to covid there was no breakfast buffet so you had to tell the waitress what you wanted, would have been great if they had a menu so you can easily see what’s available.

We booked the hotel because its convenient Position and what a surprise for convinience. The hotel is just a couple of meters away from the Monastyraki flea market and Syntagma square with a lot of options where to eat and where to drink. With a little walk you can find yourself at the base of the Acropolis and a lot of others archeological sites. The condition of the room Was really clean and spacious with a nice terrace with a view on the Acropolis. The staff Was really Kind and alway ready to answer our question about Athen and how to navigate the City. The price is not at all high. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our vacation thank to this little and precious hotel in the heart of athens. I would recomend this facility with my eyes closed for everyone who want to visit the City of athens without thinking much on how to move, like i said, you can walk preatty much everywehre without being to far away from the hotel.

First the positives. The hotel was very well fitted out when it was originally constructed and is in a good position, close to the Monastariki metro for the airport train and within easy walking distance of the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora.
But the hotel is not boutique and does the bare minimum in terms of accommodation, service and breakfast, despite its room rates. However, some travellers may decide that those rates represent good value because of the hotel's location.

The airport is a distance from Athens. Taxis have a flat 38 Euro fare. This is your best option from the airport.

What metro stations do I need to go to, to reach the hotel from the airport?

There is one around the corner. Email the hotel to give you the best answer. We used a taxi (40 euros) which was inside the terminal with a sign and parked nearby. For a family of 4 after 15 hour travel the taxi was a smart move. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.
