Having read several good reviews before we arrived, I have to say that we were not disappointed. The reception staff were more than helpful and the room maids left the room spotless every day. The location could not be better with several excellent restaurants within 100 yards and the metro only 5 mins away. The flea market and up-market shops of Plaka District are also a short walk away. Getting around Athens is very cheap and easy. Cant wait to go again.

I truly could not have picked a better hotel for a better value for my 6-day solo vacation. I booked my small single room (emphasis on small) early enough that the price I paid seemed astoundingly low, especially given that there was free breakfast daily (which was so big that I ended up only eating 2 meals a day - one of them being this free breakfast).

As an active traveler, I did not spend much time in the room, so the fact that it was small did not bother me at all. I found the bed to be super comfy and the shower had grreat water pressure and heat. The room had a little refrigerator and a safe, and really everything I needed.

Several times, I interacted with the hotel staff at the front desk and had the best conversations. Each person who worked was pleasant and iformative. Even the littlest things, like I one time asked for some help on where watch the USA match in the World Cup, and the woman working suggested I just watch from the large common room where there was a tv and she made sure the match was on.

I obviously went to see all the main sites/attractions, and everything was 15-20 minutes away walking at most. I also visited several neighborhoods that were walkable, and just so much to do and easy to get from the hotel. I haven't booked a hotel in several years, but this experience made me see the light. I feel like from this stay, I'd now be interested in staying at hotels in the future.

My tour of Greece started and ended in Athens, and so some other members of the group and I stayed at the Arion twice.

I enjoyed both stays. The hotel is in a good location - it was easy to walk to various places of interest, and there were lots of restaurants and bars just down the road.

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to find the left luggage room (ask at reception for the key), and the roof terrace was a great place to sit and have a takeaway lunch.

Thank you for everything!

A no-frills but very comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel about five minutes away from the Monastiraki square and metro station. The reception staff was super friendly, not a given in all Greek hotels. The room was large with a super comfortable bed and lots of hard pillows, a definite feature of all Greek hotels it seems. Breakfast was a mostly international buffet offering with some local delicacies such as olives and feta cheese. And the best part is the stunning rooftop with one of the best views of the Acropolis, not too close, not too far. Unfortunately there is no real good bar offering currently but one can still enjoy a coffee with the view.

The hotel is on a small street where parking is limited and looks a bit ragged. Looks like an old apartment building outside, but looks completely modern inside. There is a lounge area in front of the reception desk. The feel of the hotel reminds me of the Aloft chain, but it isn’t. There is an elevator which was nice. The twin room was bigger than many city economy hotels. We were able to fit both suitcases on one side of the room and still be able to walk around. The bathroom was also a good size and had a tub/shower combination.
The breakfast buffet was large and had a great variety to pick from. We were only there one night, so not sure of any other amenities.
There is a terrace on the roof with a lovey view of the Acropolis. We came in very late so didn’t see the night view. Down the block from the hotel are several eating places and one of the large shopping areas is a 10 minute walk away. The block the hotel is on looks rather ragged, but that seemed a bit common in Athens. We walked all around and always felt safe.

This was the best part of our tour. Anastasia’s delicious meals, clearly made with love and care, made us feel welcomed and cared for. Her spaghetti Bolognese, roasted chicken and fresh cod were the best meals we had on our tour. Her desserts ranging from chocolate to fruit were delectable! Thank you Anastasia for making us feel so welcomed in Athens. Your kindness and generosity of spirit really made our mealtime’s memorable.

Stayed here for one night at the end of an organised tour in 2022.

The hotel's part of a busy street so we had to be quick to unload our cases and once we were inside the air conditioned reception, we were able to check in quickly. The lifts were fast and worked well.

Our twin room was not a bad size for two people - the rooms were modern, light and very clean. The beds were comfy and everything was a good standard. As you'd expect, there was a good size wardrobe with safe, desk, chairs, and flat screen TV. The air con also worked really well.

The bathroom was a good size and, again, was very modern. The towels were fluffy and there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure.

The hotel has an amazing roof top terrace with a brilliant view of the city and Parthenon. Location-wise, you're on a quieter side street, but still a short walk to the metro station and some shops, markets etc.

Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold foods and drinks. The wifi was also good throughout the hotel.

Overall, a really good stay from a modern hotel in a great location.

This is a 3-star property very strategically located in the heart of Athens. All the main spots, including, monesteraki ,Plaka , Psiri, and syntagma areas with bars and restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. The amenities are standard for a 3-star hotel and the highlight of the hotel is the bar terrace where you get stunning views of the acropolis, especially at night. The rooms are of good size and very clean. The breakfast was simple and my only criticism is that it could have been more varied. The hotel is value for money and I would stay here again especially for the location.

This hotel is really friendly and the staff very helpful - they are very keen to help or provide any advice you might need.

I stayed here for a short stay in Athens and will come back. It is well-located in a central Athens neighbourhood which is very safe and vibrant, and most things are within walking distance. There is also a metro station (Monastiraki) close by if you want to travel further afield as well as connect to Athens airport.

The view from the rooftop of the acropolis is definitely worth seeing.

We stayed here in March for a 4 night break. The hotel is lovely. The location excellent. 5 minutes from the metro station. Loads of lovely places to eat close by- yet the hotel is on a quiet street opposite a church. I can not think of a better location for all of the main places to visit. It feels like you are twenty minutes from everything so you don’t need to use public transport other than from the airport. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly and helpful. We were on the 7th floor right next to the roof top terrace which is lovely to sit out on a evening . Breakfast is also of good quality and lots of choice. Only thing to improve- maybe a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. If in Athens again - would definitely return.
