Nice boutique hotel. Well appointed efficient rooms - very new and nicely decorated. Bed and linens wonderful and comfortable. Breakfast is well done, Eleni and Catalina are kind, helpful and just great hosts. Up and coming area with delicious Greek restaurants nearby- Egg and the Rooster was our favorite restaurant.

This is one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever been to! The decor and interior design was flawless. The bed was fluffy and firm. I didn’t want to get out ever! The breakfast was decadent and luxurious, I would 10/10 recommend staying here! Also the staff working was so lovely and accommodating to my dietary restrictions! Thank you Loom Athens! ❤️

We stayed at Loom Athens for a period of 5 nights (28-04/03/2024). The decoration and overall cleanliness were the biggest selling points. All staff were polite and caring. Beds are super comfortable and area is quiet and calm (15 minute walk from the Centre). Breakfast was nice and healthy.
We spent 5 wonderful days in Greece. Thank you

just writing again what I already wrote on google maps:
Fantastic hotel which deserves the 5 stars. I was amazed from the high quality and the design of the rooms. Even the color palette and the lighting is optimized and on such a high level, I would normally have to pay at least 800€ per night in Amsterdam for this haha. Service was super friendly and helpful. Thanks again for all the extras. I also adore your breakfast. I never ate such a good breakfast in a hotel for a loooong time. Keep it up! Finally, the location is nice. It's not in the high videlity touristic areas but it's cheaper and more quiet there, which I enjoyed. The metro station is 7 min away so visiting the Acropolis & co. is super easy.
Feedback: Maybe use stronger lights at the mirror for makeup stuff and use a big table for the breakfast buffet. And as a bonus you could print little maps to the metro station. I know it's just 7 min but some people (like me) are just too derpy to orientate anywhere haha.

The Loom was a pleasant place to return to after a busy day in Athens. It is situated one or two metro stops from the centre of the city, the metro station being an easy ten minute walk away.

For what it is I would say it is fairly priced and represented good value.

Our top floor room was spacious, with a super large balcony that also afforded privacy. If I stayed here again, I would keep the same room, the Attic suite.

The room design was only slightly flawed, with cupboard doors that were a little tricky to open at times, and a sofa that looked a little out of place with the room decor because of its colouring. But, this is only a minor quibble. There was, however, a rather industrial noise from time to time coming from one of the buildings across the street. Almost as though someone was running a manufacturing business, or maybe renovating their apartment. We weren't in our room much, but nevertheless it was a slightly annoying sound.

The air conditioning in our room was almost impossible to control or regulate. On our first night there were intermittent cracking/banging sounds coming from the living room ceiling vent which forced me to get up and try to rectify. It was generally quite a noisy air con, anyway, and whenever we tried to turn it off... it would just continue. Similarly, going to the control to try and turn the temperature down just resulted in the temperature display reverting to what it was, after a few seconds.

The light switches drove me a bit nuts, too. We were there 4 nights and even at the end of our stay it was always trial and error as to what switch turned on/off what lighting and from where. And the design of having a bank of 'switches' that either looked like switches but were not, or were, in fact switches, was also - to me - a design fault. A perfect example of over-elaboration. Better to keep thing simple.

Breakfast was limited but decent, and as we stayed we gradually found out what could or could not be asked for in addition to the items on display on the counter tops.

A small, cosy hotel with pleasant staff.

Loom Athens was phenomenal!! They worked with me from well before I arrived with any questions that I had and booking me a driver from the airport to the hotel, to helping me with any and every question I had no matter the time of day or night. We had a floor level room that was super spacious and even being right next to the front desk, we never heard what was going on out there because that’s how good the soundproofing was! Clean rooms with cleaning services provided everyday! A complimentary breakfast that gives you a great taste of the local cuisines! And staff (SHOUTOUT: Mariana, Giannis, Katerina!!) that will help you navigate the city and best spots for eating, shopping, day-tours, etc.! And nothing more than a 10 minute car ride to the main attractions and local ports!! My partner and I had an unforgettable time in Athens and because we were celebrating her birthday, Loom Athens provided us with a special gift to congratulate her! This is this is the kind of care you can expect with them and I highly recommend them if you visit Athens! We certainly will be back to stay with them on our next visit ;)

Hotel opened this year (2023), so it is brand new. That gives it that special quality, that is hard to come by. It is also quite small, with just 10 or 12 very lavishly decorated rooms, and whoever designed it, took care of every little detail in those rooms. Sinks, faucets, lamps... everything was carefully chosen to fit the scene.
(Pictures of the hotel that you will find here on TripAdvisor are accurate.)

Area around this hotel isn't the nicest one in Athens. There are a lot of decrepit buildings in surrounding streets, but the area is very safe, and we didn't have any encounters with hoodlums, drunks, junkies, or anything of that sort. So in that sense, location is not great.
However, from the hotel, it takes just 10 minutes of walk to reach metro station, and about same distance is to the Keramikos Archeological site. In other words, you can quickly reach any of the attractions of Athens, either by walking, or using their cheap metro transport.

We stayed in a top floor suite, that has a pull-out sofa in the main level, and staircase on the side leads to the upper, where we had a very nice double bed. We used both of those, and they were very comfortable. Pull-out bed was flat. and didn't suffer from any usual problems that I expect from those mechanisms. Linen, towels, all that stuff was high quality.

Bathroom is well organized, and perfectly clean.

Balcony is wide, spacious, and it has electric socket - for all those who like to plug in their laptops and work outside. Red brick that you can see on the photos, provides enough privacy and shade, and still allows that mediterranean sun to come through. View from the balcony is not that great, because of the surrounding area, but we did see a couple of green parrots fly by at eye level. Chairs at the balcony are ok, but table we had wasn't great and it was quite unwieldy. Maybe they wanted a table that was heavy enough, so that it doesn't become airborne during storms, but I hated it non the less.

Breakfast choices are like in every small hotel: limited. There is enough to choose from for a couple of days, and ladies working at the hotel will offer you scrambled eggs, and alike, but.. It's a small hotel. End of story.
Fortunately, there's a good bakery just around the corner, and there are myriad restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is a great choice for couples, for families on vacation, and could be a great choice for extended stays - because some rooms (like the suite we had) are equipped with a kitchenette, and are large enough so that you don't start feeling claustrophobic after a few days.

I love this hotel, and next time I go to Athens - it will be my first choice.

Welcoming environment, kind staff, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, in a quiet neighborhood near the center of Athens. Daily cleaning in the rooms, very quiet even though it is in a central location. Only 1-2 metro stops from most attractions.
