One phrase I would use is dated and trying. The hotel is in a great location downtown and walking distance to a lot of shopping, bars, restaurants and fun. That is probably the best thing about this place. One of the elevators was not working...More
The hotel is very well located within a walking distance from most places to see and visit. It is also very clean with helpful staff. But for the rest, the hotel is in urgent need for refurbishment. It looks old, doesn't offer coffee/tea in the...More

However, it is otherwise great. The breakfast buffet has many options - eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, choice of breads, fruits, veggies, cereal, juices, water. I can’t imagine...More
Good location, interesting and easy walk to Acropolis.
Good view for breakfast. Service/staff were helpful and pleasant.
Rooms are a little tired and dated, and the shower is tricky to use and floods the whole floor.
Unfortunately the beds my friend and I had were way past their use by date

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,
bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
