What can I say about this hotel. Well the staff are great especially the cleaning lady henna such a lovely lady breakfast was OK plentiful. Bad location got to have your wits about you. We saw someone trying to steal a back from the kebab place across the road. There is security staff on the door at the hotel so safe in the hotel. What let's this hotel down is the rubbish air con. It was warm had to leave window open to let fresh air in. So got some nasty bites so it's a case of if you don't leave window open it's like a sweat box in that small room we was in would I return to this hotel no probably not

Excellent from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a much needed glass of fizz (easy to access from the airport via the metro system - only one change and you come out of the metro at the hotel). Steve (incredibly helpful) took our luggage up to our rooms (even though we only had hand luggage). Rooms clean (last time I stayed November 2023 we had a balcony and that room had the edge). Toiletries, bathrobes and slippers provided. Room cleaned and fresh towels daily (the cleaners were lovely when we saw them in the corridors). The rooftop terrace is beautiful and you can use the hot tubs ( great after a day sightseeing) and the waiters are happy to bring drinks to you whilst you are in there. Breakfast was lovely - so many choices and all of a good quality. Even if you just fancy a couple of coffees and a pastry it is worth it. Buck’s Fizz also available at this time. The location suited us as we could walk everywhere and didn’t use the metro system at all. Only 10 mins and you are in the heart of Monastraki. I would most definitely stay here again!

Location a bit suspicious but staff great..found drug takers all around the area. Any side street they were there. Breakfast cold and the same every day. Walking distance to everything. Only upside. Rooms kind of clean every day. Would I stay again. No. Like I said staff amazing same as the price in the rood bar. Wow so high taking in to account the area.

Good Hotel situated in close proximity to the centre and all the attractions. As other reviewers have said be careful turning left out of hotel as some of the streets would be on a par with Somalia. Reception staff good and attentive. Easy check in process. Breakfast was good and more than set you up for day. Bar prices a but steep but only did it Ince during 4 night stay. Room was good and comfortable. The only complaint I would have is the aircon. It didn't matter what you did it always seemed warm. We were in 614 amd had to complain about the noise from the next room and obvious smoking. It ceased so presuming that words where had. Easy to find your way round and we went to local area on the last couple of nights. Good bars and restaurants and cheaper than the centre but as equally nice. Overall a good 4 days in Athens on our 2nd visit. Hotel is good value for money and does what it needs to do. I would hope that a bit of refreshing takes place to some of the room facilities like taps and ac units. Apart from that enjoyable stay.

Just read a review by sherpa about the brown acropol hotel in Athens, well I guess I must have got mixed up and stayed somewhere else because the brown acropol hotel I stayed at in 2022 and enjoyed it so much returned for a longer stay 12mth later, the staff were very attentive without being overbearing, room was lovely and spotlessly clean, bathroom excellent with wonderful and powerful shower, cleaners did an excellent job and worked so hard, the rooftop bar and breakfast area with breathtaking views of Athens was the icing on the cake, breakfast was wonderful, loads of choice to suit even someone as picky as me, my wife and I absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely return, before I go just a word about omonia, it has obviously had its problems in the past but is now coming back and there are new bars and restaurants popping up all over, the people are super friendly and really pleased to see you, the square and it's fountain is beautiful especially when it's lit up at night and finally my wife and I ventured out every night for a walk around and not once did we feel unsafe or threatened, can't wait to return to omonia and the brown acropol hotel

A house of cards located in the reasonable distance from center. To one side you do not go as this is the starting point of dangerous area of Athens. The hotel has no engineering standards you can expect, walls and ceilings are like pieces of papers, you hear everything and can follow every song there is played on the roof top. Rooms, last time I checked were renovated a couple of years ago, unfortunately maintenance is none either. The shower head pours water from the connecting section and not from shower head itself, the tab makes squeaky noises when you turn it on. Air-conditioning is ancient and does not work at all, imagine march is still a reasonable month weather wise and the room is unbearable, what with the heat of summer, you may suffer a stroke inside. Breakfast is overpriced for what you get offered, look at the coffee they serve,Douwe Egberts, and you know this is already bad taste. Dinner, guys, salt is used as an taste enhancer unless you serve rotten fish, then you overdue the salt to kill the bad fish taste. Elevators, prepare it takes around half a minute to get to the top floor, for only 9 floors this is very bad, I guess there is a labourer hidden who is pulling the cable up when people want to go to the top floor, or down. Overall it is not worth even a cent to stay here, better search elsewhere. Mister Avigad take advice of other hoteliers and entrepreneurs who do know what it is to develop a 4 star hotel, cheap labour only shows cheep quality hotel which is Brown Acropol.

Wow! Was booked this hotel for a solo work trip and while the reviews & advertisements looked amazing I was apprehensive based on location. You’re greeted with Prosecco on arrival and the lovely Steven was so welcoming and even helped with my bag. The room is spacious, lots of nice touches as slippers & robes. Housekeeping are amazing, I had read they came every other day so left my room embarrassingly untidy but came back to even my PJs being folded and everything organised so lovely. The Rooftop bar makes you feel you are the luckiest tourist in Athens. Amazing views of Acropolis and the rest of the city. A St Tropez beach vibe with cool music and outdoor seating. Prices are amazing for the quality of servers, cleanliness, food and drinks. Although the menu is small, the food is incredible so it makes sense! Breakfast is a wide selection and Prosecco is included. I have spent my entire trip telling family & friends to book up! I’ve stayed at some incredible hotels worldwide and this one is fast becoming my favourite and makes it hard to go out for dinner/drinks! Please don’t be put off by location. I had airport staff, social media and taxi drivers tell me Omonia is not very safe but the hotel feels incredibly safe with doormen and no need to leave aside from sight seeing !

The location is perfect, from the balcony you could see Omonia square and it is 5-10 minutes from the city center. Breakfast is amazing, rich and filling. Gym is great, and the jacuzzi on the rooftop with a view of the acropolice is the topping of the cake. The hotel workers were very helpful and kind.
