I stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The single room I had on the 5th floor was tiny but enough for my needs. AC working fine, but due to the size of the room, and the presence of a fridge, it's quite noisy at night. Be aware that the neighbourhood is very shabby, you can feel scared, especially if you come on foot from Omonia station. There's a nother station just 2 minutes away, you can reach the historic center in 10 minutes, tickets are very cheap. Lots of shops around for basic groceries. The staff of the hotel is very nice and helpful. I did not have breakfast at the hotel as I left early, but be aware that the prices of food and coffee in Athens are ridiculous. Altogether a decent place to explore the city, prices are fair, Athens is getting as expensive as Paris.

A great stay at the Hotel Tier Collection.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious and modern with a huge terrace/balcony.
The bed was very comfortable.
Cleanliness was fine, spotlessly clean throughout.

The hotel is perfect for a weekend break being close to the city centre and having the metro a few minutes away and train station around 10 minute walks away.
Noise wise it's on a quiet side street, not noisy at all.

There's lots of nice bars and restaurants in the area, so no need to travel far of an evening.
Be advised the area a few streets away from the hotel towards the city on foot isn't great, best to be avoided, especially at night. We encountered no problems though.

Would definitely stay at the Hotel Tier again.

Stayed there for a couple of nights and I couldn’t ask for more. Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was helpful. Surrounding streets can be a little sketchy but the hotel is quite close to the subway, so it’s a 5-min walk to everywhere. Would definitely stay again!

The images of this hotel are not representative of the experience you will receive. I was mis-sold completely. The hotel is in a poor state, the rooms and dirty, it is located in a very seedy, dangerous area of Athens and the management and staff were not helpful in the slightest.

Actually, the only attractive side is the price. Being relatively centrally located, this hotel doesn't offer much: The room is relatively small and simply furnished. The bathroom is teeny tiny, but new and modern. Everything seems to be really clean.
The staff is friendly, however, not very efficient: They only prepare breakfast on demand. Although I'd ordered breakfast for the next morning twice, there wasn't any available. The day of my departure in the early morning, the receptionist didn't bother to unlock the door himself, but yelled at me from the first floor to 'open the door'. As an elderly woman, I had to crawl on the floor to unlock their front door....this is not a good way of doing your job.
However, the cheap price is pretty much unbeatable, albeit you should be aware that you are staying in a pretty rough neighborhood. This area is definitely not for everyone - I would not want to stay there with kids.

For our first time in Athens we were skeptical on finding a nice hotel for an affordable cost. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and did a brief 3 day stay in Athens before heading to Santorini. We came across Tier Collection during our research and based on the price, reviews, and location we decided to book here. We were extremely glad that we did! The hotel seemed recently renovated and the atmosphere was very comfortable and does not match the outer street it is on. The rooms were proper size for the cost, we knew this going in and didn’t mind as if your in Athens the only time you should need your room is to rest and change. They were also very clean, comfortable beds, good working AC and also provides daily clean up upon leaving your key at the front desk but this is optional. The only downside I would say is the inside walls are paper thin and the halls echo. So if your in bed and someone loud (maybe like ourselves) come in at 3 AM you are definitely going to hear them. Other than that the hotel was a great. Staff was super nice, spoke good English and was very accommodating. The locals will tell you the area is not the safest but we felt no issues and walked down to local taverns throughout the night. I would greatly recommend this for travelers who are just looking for a clean nice room and knows the size is simply for practicality.

The Tier Hotel is a very friendly place to stay. The staff were brilliant when I had my wallet stolen, on my first night, a couldn't have been more helpful throughout my stay. Room was clean and bright. A lovely Balcony/terrace( I guess about 4M by 6M) to relax and enjoy a drink. The hotel is close to the Metro and Hop-On/Hop-Off city tour bus. I went on the yellow, Grayline bus, and had several tours around the city and down to the Athens Riviera, €20, for 3 days, deal. Would recommend to those on a budget.

The owner of this hotel is very rude. On our last night in Athens, he told us to go back to China! When we told him we are Americans, he told us to go back to America! This treatment is unacceptable, please do stay here.

Good budget hotel but it is not central, nothing is close or walking distance you need to take the metro to all attractions. The good thing there is a metro station close by though.
The hotel front desk Georgia is super awesome, professional and nice. Thank you Georgia for being a great help. All staff were sweet.
Constantina was a great help as well during the checking in process.
AC was good and silent almost no noise. I stayed in April 2024 so didnt need much AC. The weather was moderate.
- Problems to be fixed:
* Mold smell in the bathroom from sewage.
* Door balcony cannot be locked even after they tried to fix it.
* The balcony doors are not sound proof as it is listed, noise from street can be heard even when doors are closed. I had to switch rooms from 2nd to 3rd floor and it is still noisy sometimes if you want to sleep in.
* TV size can be bit bigger but I didn’t care cause all station were in Greek

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We arrived at midnight and the receptionist placed an order for us for the best gyros we had in Athens. The breakfast was ok due to my personal limitations. The room was adequate, equipped with a fridge and the AC worked great. The hotel is well centrally located but not too far from a "shady" part of the city which was never a problem for us as we always took a taxi.
